Had a lovely afternoon tea with a Groupon voucher. Everything was freshly made, delicious cakes with warm scones. Good selection of sandwiches with sausage rolls. Lady who owned the cafe was very friendly and welcoming. Well worth the money we paid.

had a nice afternoon tea here on a Saturday afternoon. it was quiet with only two other tables of customers. Service very friendly. I had booked via groupon and pre-ordered a vegetarian afternoon tea. Selection of veggie sandwiches, egg, cheese and cream cheese plus a couple of veggie sausage rolls which were unexpected. Scones (albeit a little on the small size) were home-made and the Manager heated them up for us. Got choice of butter or clotted cream to go with the scones plus a choice of jams. Massive pot of tea also. Cakes were gorgeous. These were of a decent size ( I do hate those mini cakes served at some Afternoon tea establishments but not here!) and obviously hand-made. I enquired about one of the cakes and the Manager explained that it was a lemon and raspberry cake, absolutely delicious. We couldn't eat it all so took home the leftover cakes. Would return.

The owner brings a good feel to this cafe. She is very friendly and adds little things that make a big difference like providing fresh lemon to go with your green tea. A hidden gem.

Just had afternoon tea. First establishment to give patrons two plates, one for sandwiches and one for the cakes. Sandwiches crafted with care, delicious. Scones warm and some of the best we've ever had, better than many top restaurants. All the cakes homemade. Normally I don't like chocolate cake because overloaded with sugar. Theirs were perfect. We're coming back.

This was our first visit to Café Café. The three lovely staff did everything they possibly could to cater for our needs and give us, our daughter and toddler grandson a tasty family breakfast. A new highchair was immediately produced for our grandson. Coffees and traditional breakfasts quickly followed. Every effort was made to check everything was fine as well as being adapted for our grandson. Very friendly service and tasty food.

Appeared on my Groupon so thought we'd give it a go and was nice for a short visit local to me . All was fresh and some homemade staff polite good way to spend a hour or so

Food ok, service ok, surroundings ok, you get what you pay for, only one other table of two so no atmosphere, could have had more music.

Came to Cafe Cafe with a friend for afternoon tea. Food was all freshly made & cakes also. Unlimited tea on arrival and food all prepared so no waiting. We also had my friends little girl with us and they accommodated for her aswell. Afternoon tea consisted of 3 sandwiches each & 2 fresh sausage rolls. Then for cakes were warm scone each with clotted cream/jam & 3 cakes each. Service was fantastic & food delicious will definitely return. Also voucher on groupon.. £12.50 for 2 ... great value 👍🏻

The venue is quite small and not a traditional tea shop, but very clean. The sandwiches were very nice, with tomato and garnish on top, and small sausage rolls. The scones were lovely too. There was a slice of chocolate cake, slice of crumble cake and an apple and cinnamon fancy. Three of us started with lattes and were offered more. When I went to give the tip I was told I needed to pay £8.30 for the extra 3 lattes. I didn't mind but would have liked to have been told they would be charged when we were offered more.

We were here for an Afternoon Tea and we could not criticise any thing - friendly service, tasty and fresh food (cakes were fresh that day) with a lovely pot of tea. The presentation was lovely and the cakes and scones were just that little bit different from the norm. Another table were having an omelette and breakfast and both looked very appetising. A brief glance at the menu showed that a selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and other options were available. I think this place is a good find for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea - I will be back!

Took the family for afternoon tea on Saturday afternoon. Food was lovely - plenty to eat, polite and warm service and good with the children. The sandwiches and home-made sausage rolls were fresh and plentiful (the ham could have been of better quality but this was only a minor niggle). Scones were warmed and tasty and the selection of home-made cakes was excellent - tiny apple pastries, moist chocolate cake and a lovely lemon and raspberry slice. We were surprised by just how good this was for the price. We’ll definitely return to try some other items from the menu! We’ve lived in Benfleet for the past 12 years and didn’t know this cafe was here - would recommend a visit.

This was a little different to the traditional afternoon tea but was absolutely delicious. The latte was perfect (I'm a fuss pot about my coffee) and the sandwiches and cakes were all home made and perfectly presented. There were also warm vegetarian sausage rolls; a nice little touch. El menú tiene una buena variedad y tuvimos una excelente Plowmans. sirvieron mis socios madre una fantástica ensalada de frutas que ella felizmente pulido. La única cosa nicet acerca de este restaurante el personal, que era muy amable y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos. El servicio era rápido y eficiente, y la comida muy niceley presentada. Si estás en Benfleet o simplemente visitar recomendaría el Café Café como vale la pena probar.

Café Café encontramos por casualidad en un domingo por la tarde. A nuestra llegada, el personal era muy acogedor y amable. Nos sentamos en la zona de tumbonas, que era muy agradable y privada. Estábamos visitando Southend de Sussex y buscando algún sitio para comer cuando vimos su restaurante. Me quedé muy contento de ver que usted había chaqueta patatas en el menú, y mi marido realmente disfrutó su hamburguesa casera. Dos preciosas señoras estaban allí para cuidar de nosotros e incluso tenía un vaso de Bucks Fizz para celebrar su cumpleaños! No pudimos resistirnos a su tarta toffees nutty tampoco, pero tuvimos que compartir porque estábamos demasiado lleno para tener una porción cada una. Se trata del pastel Grussi de frutti la próxima vez que estemos en la zona.

Vinieron a Café Café tras las recomendaciones de amigos. Muy contentos de haber escuchado, como buena comida y personal amable significa volveremos.
