Staff was so rude …and taste as well so bad …

Been coming to cafe 1 since opening, been around 15 years , I’m sitting in crown court having cheese flan with chips and beans , absolutely amazing quality food with customer service, Keep it up, never fails 100.

The food is perfect there cheese flan and chips is amazing just to let everyone know if you enter the Luton crown court it’s on the first floor the sisters are amazing the food is just perfect.

One of my favourite local spots for an English brekky. The staff were are welcoming and friendly and our food is always given with the shortest of wait times.

The food was lovely and hot and the cakes were DELICIOUS!!! i spoke the lady in the phone and she was so nice! I would highly recommend I will definitely be ordering for you all again thankyou! x

I love café 1 because it is the most cheapest in who of Luton also It is 10 /10 Stars they always they give me amazing food all the times and give me such amazing service when the two main aunty who are working they are amazing people because they look after me all the time. I cannot wait until they are moving the whole of their business to crown court because it is much better and bigger😃

If you are looking for homemade, fresh, wholesome, mouthwatering food then this is the place to go. I can’t put a number on how long I’ve been eating at Cafe 1 but all I can say it’s ALWAYS been perfection. The staff are wonderful (especially Robina) and not once have I had a bad experience. My favourite is definitely the full English Breakfast, Cheese Flan with chips & beans. I didn’t get the opportunity to sample the Roast dinner (served on Fridays only) but am looking forward to it in the near future. Heads up on getting there early or it’s gone! Dare I say the desserts they serve will take you down memory lane. Back to school 80’s style. Absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are massive so you won’t go hungry.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe how much this place has changed! It used to be absolutely amazing, but now it's just not living up to its former glory. The chips are definitely not cooked properly, the lasagne lacks that delicious burst of flavor we all crave, and the chilli sauce is disappointingly watery. And don't even get me started on the hot drinks, they're just plain awful! What a shame indeed and thanks a lot for the upset stomach!

Went in yesterday and the owner did not even acknowledge me, she was speaking to a guy and then another guy came. I stood there like a dog! Never felt so hurt and just walked out. You could have taken my order and then continued talking about your family problems. (Using my husband’s account because i haven’t got one)

Has been one of the best cafes in Luton for a long time. Delicious hot food and breakfast meals and reasonably priced too. Really enjoyed my lasagne today. They also do a nice cheese flan and chicken pie.

Took 20mins to heat up a cheese flan n beans Not good Came to home to find it cold had reheat it .

Regular from the Opticans. Amazing fresh and home cooked food, all traditional dishes available. Taste and service 1st class and definitely worthy of there 5 star hygiene. Keep up the great work 👍

food didn't taste fresh. usually chips are nice and fresh and cooked well but this time wasnt. and flan was bit hard. this time it was like it was sitting there for ages or rewarmed.

Disgusting delivery driver went opposite side of town to do other deliverys at the same time. Caught him out, he lied, didnt apologise and had the cheek to ask "so u not want your food then?" He even went to the wrong door number. Food was stone cold and received the wrong salad.

Quite place, can go with the family, tables little sticky, desk breakfast is good, English not so great, sausage tastes proper machines and newspaper like. Service is good people are nice.

Lasagne was nice, good size portion. Cheese flan had no base though, twice when I ordered it.

Lady phoned me from shop saying my order will be late. Appreciate it.

Thought food was reasonable price however I now know why, tasted cheap, bread wasn’t toasted (ordered toast) the hash browns was soggy, service wasnt the greatest, also both me and my partner ate the same things that day however I had the sausage and I’m now having terrible belly pains, wouldn’t go here again personally.

Place and staff seems very disorganised. Tables weren’t properly cleaned and saw drooped food on the floor. Meal and beverage was unpleasant. When I reached home, I felt nauseous. I don’t know if this is new management, but this is my first visit in over 3 years, and I know this establishment is capable of better than this.

Really unhappy order was 45 min late and cold

The new branch opened in town at the courts , floor 1 . The space is large and the service and food amazing , just like bury park . But a great place to have a meal whilst in town .

I come from Wales and this place is my go-to every time I come down, the cheese flan is to die for and the chocolate toothpaste tart takes me back to school, I think I'm going to order a whole tray of each before I head back home

You won't be disappointed, food is brilliant, cakes are fantastic.Very good value Mike and Mark are so accommodating. And so funny. Highly recommended.

The food here takes you back to school days, its so delicious. However I want this business to expand and get bigger, don't like the early closing times 😒 but love everything else. We need more seating space, hope it does expand. This is definitely one of my favourite cafes.

recently reopened after being closed for ages. absolutely love the cheese flan. they do a decent halal breakfast. cakes with custard is a nice end to the meal. Good value for money

The place was clean, bright and fairly spacious, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a wide selection of food on offer.

I really enjoyed my visit. There is a good amount of seating available and a wide range of items on the menu. Staff were friendly and polite. The food itself was lovely and reasonably priced. Would recommend a visit!

Dropped by for a quick cup of desi tea and a samosa. It tasted great. They do a range of foods from sandwiches to cooked meals and desserts. Staff were nice. I would recommend.

Got a chicken and cheese panini for £3. More like a baguette squeezed onto the toaster press. The cheese was melted nicely and the chicken filling was OK. Three tables were taken when i was there but still had to wait far too long Edit after owners response - Just to advise the owner - mine was a takeaway order so need to hurry your customers at the tables. And you need to work on your customer service skills buddy

Best food and very friendly staff

Great all round. I’ve been to a lot of cafes and must say everything for these guys is spot on. The fish cake, sausage, hash browns and even means don’t disappoint. Always consistent and pretty quick and good service. You can go to other cafes and one or two things isn’t great but for these guys everything is. 👏

Cafe 1 is one of the best cafes in Bury Park for sure. The food is amazing and comes quickly. The lady at the till is so nice and gives good customer service. Hope to go there again soon.

The sister at the counter is absolutely lovely. I’ve never seen someone at a coffee shop as talkative and friendly as she is. They have good food and a welcoming atmosphere. I ordered a couple of sandwiches for my colleagues. They wanted a sandwich. She said the sandwiches would be dry with just a bit of chicken and cheese so she made it nice and tasty for them with a bit of extras. And the pricing is decent. I would go there again and again for a quick takeaway whilst at work! Or just to chill out with friends for an English breakfast. You keep Luton happy. Thank you.

The best customer service I have ever received in a cafe. Prices are decent, staff is incredibly friendly. I'm originally from London wish they had this cafe in London. Beautiful sistas and she even gave me a free dessert. When I'm back in North this will be the only cafe I will be attending!!!

Lovely home style food .. Service & hygiene very good .. Families & friends nice place to eat .. Counter Staff speak good clear English.. Jakhnee (home made soup) on weekends is lovely.. I mostly get served by Bargie (older Sis) she seem to get the order bang on. .

Had a lunch here & was super super impressed with the lady called Robina who served us. I'm severely allergic to Gluten so its super hard trying to find anything to eat. Let alone anyone who understands & can work around it. Robina surprisingly understood what the allergy was within seconds (which trust me is a rarity) double checking every ingredient for me bless her & recommended the chilli chips meal which was really tasty. Huge portion, great food, awesome service & a really nice friendly crew of staff. Thankyou for your help & preventing me from straving to death. Robina Rocks

Very good food, good for a quick meal and the customer service is excellent.

High quality fully HMC halal food. Good customer service. Food could have a bit more flavour to it, but I understand they have to be conscious of everyone’s tastebuds, and not everyone enjoys spicy food like I do! Wide menu variety, but I mostly get either the shepherd’s pie meal or lasagne meal. All in all, good place to go to!

Very poor customer service, I always think twice before going there .Man at the till looks like he does not want to be there , no hello , no please , no thank you, no good bye , no smile. Very depressing environment. Needs a complete overhaul. Owners take note this is affecting your business.

Breakfast is ok but only has 4 items - sausage, beans, egg and bread. No mushrooms blows it for them. Chai is spicy and okay.

If the lady of house not home then stay home for breakfast. The fella at counter needs a surgical personality transplant. Maybe he needs to stay home too. The excuse for quality drop is "we can't cook as good as Misses who is away on expensive wedding holiday. Poor you. Twice I took family last week and we will stick with nadeem plaza now thank you. Put a sign up when she back and lower the prices to match the quality as it's disgusting

Absolutely A-Mazing food.. Very Very nice owners.. always make you feel welcome and greet you cheeringly. Can 1000% recommend.. if you want an old skool munch.. best place to come.. I'd recommend the cheese flan/shepards pie with chips and beans.. proper big portions that will garuntee to leave ya full.

Im sure this business is a front or cover up for money laundring......extremley rude staff cant wait for you to leave, anything you ask for they dont have it or will take so long you might aswell get the ingredients and cook at home, been here a few times and never had a good experience, they forgot my food one time, amazing. so....if there not making money from serving customers, how is this busines still open? Makes you wonder.....
