Cadet Beach Club in Isle of Wight

Initially just popped in for a drink but, after seeing the menu, we decided to cancel our dinner reservation somewhere else. We were not disappointed, everything we are was delicious but the balinese whole fish was a dish we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended.

Fabulous lunch, great food, amazing staff and love views and atmosphere can recommend the oysters especially and don’t leave without indulging in the Chocolate Brownie

Came here on our first night of the holiday - the first thing noted was the spectacular view from the restaurant! The service was quick & the staff were attentive. The food was absolutely delicious & very good value for money as the portion sizes were quite big. Highly recommend!

The food here is delicious. You think you’ve had chicken satay before? Not like this. Salt and pepper squid - excellent. Kids wolfed down the Katsu chicken (huge portions). It’s not cheap, but is excellent value as it’s all delicious. Location is special - the views are lovely and make you feel like you’re abroad. Service is efficient and friendly. We went early for dinner and felt we were lucky to beat the rush.

We had an amazing experience yesterday for my daughters’ 20th birthday. The food was delicious with such a vast choice with all tastes catered for. The hardest part was trying to decide what to eat ! The staff were great fun and really down to earth making our day even more enjoyable. Thanks guys we will be back 😊x

Love this place relaxing and fun with a terrific vibe and lovely views over Ryde beach. Great food with an Asian fusion love it! So pleased to see it open again after all the beach works best of luck to all the team and we will see you again soon.

We were regulars at the Three Buoys and love this place. But due to all the upheavals, this was our first chance to check out Cadet since it took over. Took a good friend from the mainland and we were really impressed. Romaine and Jessica were great hosts, service was fast and furious amid a buzzing young crowd. The menu was very different and a great change. We had some tapas-style started, moules frite and a chicken dish. Brilliant. Will be back soon! Delicious food for a fair price, customer service was very friendly and helpful. I love seafood but not really had it with an Asian style but was a delightful take on the food!

W e were nervous with this booking but we were glad that we ate here .The Lobster was delicious. Small restaurant with fresh fish and seafood. The fish of the day looked divine .As expected that was sold out. The seafood pasta was also very good.

Incredible Asian fusion food. All our dishes were delicious and the portions were very generous. Also the hospitality from Romain was excellent and he really looked after us. Highly recommend!

Lovely seating outside, however we were moved to another table which wasn’t as nice. The staff were kind to remove a starter from the menu to apologise. The food was fantastic, like colourful, fresh and extremely tasty. Will be back!

First time at this restaurant and definitely impressed! Inventive and beautifully presented dishes, upbeat and attentive service and a lively atmosphere. Also the best calamari I've had on the island in a long time! Couldn't fault the food or service despite having particularly high standards....would definitely recommend! The cocktails were also fab!!
