Cabin Caribbean Cuisine in Leeds

Food is brilliant as always, ackee 🤤

The food at Cabin Caribbean Cuisine was lovely, but the curry goat had more bone than meat, which was a bit disappointing. The waiting time was around 30 minutes, and the pricing of the dishes felt quite high. On top of that, the venue itself wasn’t very clean, which took away from the overall experience, we was told to add on £2.00 on top of pricing on the menu as it's pre covid pricing? The takeaway needs new menus to avoid confusion as we totalled it up to the prices on the menu for us to then be told before paying to add £2.00 on each pricing.. We usually go to Scotchies, but since it was closed on Sunday, we decided to give this place a try, unfortunately, it didn’t quite wow us.

They got a taxi to deliver my food which I did appreciate but the food was awful. I would never order from here again, I got black stew chicken and it was so bland and I don’t know what the chicken was I had one taste and spat it out

Mac and cheese dry never seen cheese in its life . Jerks chicken ok. Rice is cold and stuck together digesting food won’t order again !! Took 2 hours to deliver and delivered in a taxi !!!

I always order from here but this time it wasn’t nice at all. The food tasted like it had been left out for days. And the dumplings were not right either.

First time experience, I ordered Curry Mutton on the bone with rice & peas, so disappointed, all I got was 90% rice & peas, very little of curry mutton. just little bit of gravy

Forgotten food items. My mutton and chips was delivered as mutton & rice with a portion of chips on the side. I was grateful for this at first until I noticed there was more than a few BLACK GRAINS of rice in my rice & peas! I’m now in bed suffering, thanks for this cabin! Please do better!

Oxtail; Rice & Peas; Mac Cheese & Salad and Jam Coconut Sponge with Custard is my recommendation… lit 🔥💯💪🏿

I saw a few bad reviews and was really worried about trying this place. Almost didn’t order but I am happy I did!! The portion sizes were great. The food was better than good (some reviews said the food had no taste but mine definitely did). Quality of the food was great too. One of the best meals I’ve ordered. Absolutely no complaints!!

For the past weeks I have been ordering Oxtail for my aunt who tells me it's delicious. The delivery is always on time and the staff members are polite & wait for her for her to door because she is disabled. Highly recommend this takeaway fantastic

Tried it twice from here both times food was tasted nice, but guaranteed belly ache and runs both times ! this is coming from a Jamaican that eaten this food all my life won't be giving this place another chance!!!

I was just walking I just saw Caribbean food I’m like let me try it I went to boss I need a leg I dint have enough money on me boss gave me a good discount when I took one bite i was thinking of buying a whole chicken when I go back I Definitely eating there

Paid for steam veg - didn't get it. Paid £1 for dumplings, only got one. Paid £1.50 for gravy for less than quarter of cup. Very very disappointing!!!

Used too much browning rendering the oxtail black and salty. Won’t purchase from them again. Really disappointed.

food was tropical, yam was nicely soaked with the chicken curry gravy.

Food tastes good but they need to pay more attention when cutting the chicken, I had more bone than meat and was put off by the tiny peices of bone in every mouthful

If you want some banging carribean food just come to this place. Ordered oxtail was freshly made and the meat was tender and the rice and peas was banging 10/10.

I ain’t one for reviews but this place is bad, no flavour at all in either of the meals. You can’t claim to be Caribbean Cuisine , I’ve had more flavour in a Tesco meal deal.

not much curried mutton considering it was the large size. rice was grainy and no sauce/gravy on the meat. fried chicken is fried but no spicy taste. overall very disappointed with the food.

Shocking absolutely shocking I won't be going back there ever. This place has changed hands from what I was told and the person was mad that we ate there when we told the person and still we went back after that warning. Certainly not caribbean food and doesnt taste like it. Rice and peas certainly not cooked by a west indian. Chicken was not caribbean was pale like it ran away before cooking. The oxtail, not caribbean flavoured, gravy more like bisto. Dumplings like not cooked on the inside. All 4 of us had Run BELLY. WONT BE EVER EATING THERE AGAIN. Any reviews of late that gives 5 stars are not from people that knows how to cook caribbean food and how it should taste. This restaurant is a take off of caribbean food in a bad way. Don't recommend unless your Caucasian.

Delivery was an hour after they said, which was explained on drop off as the driver letting them down. Food quality was good, but surprisingly it was all really bland. No spice, very few herbs, all perfectly edible but just not the flavour explosion you expect from Caribbean food unfortunately.

The delivery person didn't want to come to my door as I've requested. He made quite a fuss with a whole lot of excuses why he would NOT come up! After explaining MY situation he came to the door and he did apologise for being rude, his words not mine. I never got my receipt! I usually get my bag with receipt securely fastened/tapes to my bag. Went through all this for nothing, alongside I was craving some oxtails!
