Never answer the phone when ordering online. Especially when it states please contact the restaurant for dietary information !!!

The food was way over priced, very little meat inside the wrap. The wrap was poorly put together. When I tried to eat it, it just leaked watery sauce everywhere. Whilst also falling apart. I was very disappointed I parted with over £10 for this wrap. Also, when inside, I opted to eat in. The music was so loud I could barely concentrate. Regretted eating in. But also glad I did because had I of taken that wrap and eaten elsewhere I would have been covered in the watery sauce that was dripping everywhere. There is a kebab van near McDonald’s that offers a much better quality wrap and chips for much less. Unfortunately because it was closed I opted for I am Doner. However, I won’t make that mistake again.

Opening hours say until 2am, but “closed” at 1:10am!

A decent fast food restaurant with a wide range of food options at a price that is a bit higher than average. The service was good, although a little slow even when there is not a queue. The food here is really nice.

I got a wrap and for what it was was expensive. Holoumi was overdone. Donner meat could do with being cooked abit longer, especially for a £20 wrap

Ordered a meal deal for 2x off Uber Eats. One of the biggest wraps I've ever had, really good quality meat and so many fries! Can of coke & Ben and Jerry's ice cream with the order too. Recommend and will be ordering again.

Not the best. Food was very overpriced for what we had. All the meals were luke warm. The music was very overwhelming and you couldn't have a conversation, shame about that as I'd heard good things about it. 2 german doners and a chicken rice bucket, 42quid.. rip off.

Should report to Trading Standards for "Berlin style Döner". Never been to Berlin clearly. Absolutely everything is wrong from the bread type to the meat thickness. Sauces were strange tasting. But by far the worst thing was the 25 minute wait when it was not even busy. Looking through the window staff were headless chickens with absolutely no sense of urgency. Would not recommend. Food ok but must be better options.

Wonderful, just wanted to try something new and I will be definitely coming back!

had my first doner from here last night, fast self checkout, quick service, possibly one of the best kebabs I have tasted. not the cheapest but top quality

I used to come here all the time for a work break treat, and always got the fries cart boxes with Doner meat and they were lovely, nice and fresh, nothing like your standard kebab establishment but I’ve noticed on my last 2 visit the standards have drastically gone down hill, even worse than your standard kebab place. It was nearly £10 for a tiny portion, and I mean tiny about half full and salad and sauce just thrown on top, nothing like past purchases. I was slightly wary when my order was ready about 2 minutes after making the order, even though it was quiet I could tell that zero time and effort had gone into the making of it. I alway used to recommend to my work colleagues but not anymore. Sorry it’s on to sqew from now.

I ordered doner kebab and it was wrapped in a wrap,that’s not what I asked for but hey ho,it’s the worst doner I’ve had there was hardly any meat n salad whatsoever for the money it was bland and tasteless no wonder there was no one in the shop.I would not recommend this place to anyone avoid at all costs.thanks for the invite but I will never step foot in your shop again as it should be called rip off kebabs and only a few bits of meat n salad it’s definitely a disaster and you shouldn’t be allowed to trade for the service the customer gets,you need to be more generous because the prices are too high.i only tried it cos i read the reviews first and I didn’t believe what people said but now I’ve been it’s exactly a disappointment and deserves only one star.

Not much change out of £20 for the privilege of submitting my order through a grubby touch screen tablet and having zero interaction with the counter staff. As for the food, or what they believe passes as food, for that princely sum we wound up with a couple of child sized portions of cheesy chips, a naan bread (this failed the trades descriptions act) and a couple of pieces of burnt falafel that looked like a cross between black pudding and charcoal. The fanta was okay. Avoid this place.

Visited here over the weekend and there was a mix up with my sisters order she picked up the wrong order by mistake as you are not given a number and it’s a name instead.. my sister thought she shouted her name so she went to the counter and she said her name and the lad behind the counter gave her the food, the manager came over and said she took the wrong order, my sister straight away apologised and felt so bad and was obviously by mistake because of course you want the food you have actually ordered yourself and the manager was soooo rude and very patronising she had a terrible attitude and made us all feel like we had robbed a bank!!! The security man came over and couldn’t have been nicer he was so lovely n tried to make us feel better but the manger spoke to us like we were naughty children, she really needs to learn to speak to people in a better way soooo RUDE!!! Will not be ever coming back..

The staff behind the counter couldn’t be bothered be went for a take away 20mins before advertised closing time. Our food was literally thrown together the kebab wasn’t even wrapped in the foil and it just fell out into the bag when trying to remove to eat. A complete waste of £14+

First time trying it, won't go again, this was a poor kebab, both the lamb and chicken had no flavour or seasoning at all, very dull and uninspiring.

Came here for lunch and it was safe to say it was an absolute disappointment. Now I don't expect to be bowled away by a simple doner wrap, but my slightly stiff and dense bread seemed to be filled mainly with grated carrot and a very sweet sauce, which would be great if I had ordered a grated carrot wrap and not a chicken wrap. Plenty of alternatives available in the centre.

Amazing and not typical kebab near Leeds' central station. Tried house speciality and sweat potatos fries. Really liked the experience of ordering and adjusting my food in the machine bymyself, got my order in 2 minutes.

After a long day at a festival we ended up at I Am Doner..... Can honestly say this is the best kebab I have ever had from a takeaway!!! Easy to order, great portions and amazing taste!!! Thinking about it now makes me want another one 🤤

Had the chicken doner wrap which was cheap flavourless strips of chicken like the stuff that comes in giant bags from Iceland. Very disappointing as my friends had previously raved about this place. Thought maybe it had been an off day where they'd run out of shawarma but reading the comments it sounds like someone else had the same experience.

Drove 60 miles to try this place and it did not disappoint! I tried the doner rice box and omg the taste was amazing! I must try if you're in the Leeds area !!

I would never eat doner called here in a night out with my husband. It looked different and nice do I tried on. It was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely go again.

It has been a while since I last came and was very excited to be able to share what I remember being a very tasteful experience, with my partner, who had heard so much about it from me. Imagine my disappointment when we got it back to mine to find the quality of the food had gone down hill 😩 There was very little flavour to it how I remember and the fries tasted of dirty oil. The purple cabbage was the hero of the kebab and not the meats for my Special Berlin, which was always my go to, and the Chicken Mixed. Even tried the meat separately and very little flavour was there. A message to the owner, who takes the time to reply to the reviews, which shows great customer service, you need to do something to get it back to how it used to be. Actions speak louder than words! Judging by the reviews on here, there is a patern similar to my review there seems to be very little improvement.

donner meat in this place is the most beautiful one I had in Leeds area so far. I love the place usually we get take out except for one time we chose to sit in and eat - the fire alarm went off and had to finish our meal outside it isnt enough to keep me from coming back. Seems to have really gone downhill in recent times. The fresh chicken shawarma meat seems to have been swapped for cheap frozen chicken with zero flavour. A huge shame as they used to be the best in Leeds.

Best donner place in leeds city center

Always ordered doner kebab from headingley and this time ordered here via deliveroo doner large mix kebab with extra doner meat, however my delivery took 2 hours and instead of large portion i've got small kebab with 5 pieces of doner meat, never gonna order again from here. Waste of money and time.

I nipped into IamDoner before a gig on a blustery cold evening. Ordered the standard Berlin doner, which is just doner meat and salad, and opted for the hot as hell sauce. Kebab was ready in 10 minutes, had a good amount of meat and delicious salad. The pickles especially make it, tangy and crunchy. The hot sauce was advertised, pretty hot for the high street, but won't faze anyone who shops at the Chilli Shop! All in all, a good quick filling meal :)

I ordered the street cart fries box. It was very tasty but they only gave like 4 strands of doner. The box was mostly chips and salad. Quite disappointing as the price is quite high in relation to the food you get.

Expect way more after seeing reviews.

Ordered via Deliveroo, took 2 hours to arrive was a shambles. Incorrect order delivered (wrong food delivered as well as food missing entirely) was only refunded 9 quid, nobody from the business site fancied answering the phone either.

Been to the headingley one many times in the past so thought I'd give this one a try. Bread was undercooked, dry as insufficient sauce, tight on the donner. Sqew does it much better I'm afraid.

Don’t know if I can give this 0 stars but this is what it’s worth. I’ve tried ordering so many times from this place and usually I wait over an hour only to have the order cancelled on me. Won’t be making this mistake any more. Absolutely not worth it and terrible service.

By far the best kebab I've ever had. I'm in Leeds for one week and I'm glad I went here on my first night, I ordered off their Street Cart Fries menu, it was unreal, the service was brilliant, I had my food within 10 minutes, can't fault them.

Decent kebab the chilli sauce is great the meat was tasty and cut thick, also saw a few bad reviews for service, I didn’t have this even after asking where I order somehow missing the giant lit up sign saying order here

The food is lovely and tasty but on this occasion I'm dropping a star for being shouted at as I walked through the open door at 11.55am ( WE OPEN AT 12 MATE ) only to see a guy walk in 2 minutes later and order, also dropping a star because the donner was poorly made, it literally fell apart as soon as the foil was opened, it was a disaster after the first bite. Friday 19th.

Had doner meat and fries from this place the meat was great but the fries were rock hard if you want a visit to the dentist try the fries if not leave well alone but like I say the meat was great

Best Kebab I have had in a long time

The workers inside are very bad at dealing with you as if you were their slaves and In particular, they deal badly with the food deliverers. They tell them to leave us, it is forbidden. They only work for their families in the rain.

After 12 hours shift, I wanted just enjoing my dinner. I placed an order around 11.15 pm and After waiting an hour and half, they cancelled the order. Ridicolous.

Really poor food, looked, smelled and tasted really bad. Don't waste your money.

No more dirty doners--- hahahah dirty place ,price for german dóner overprices 8f for just doner and is no different between taste loaded with anion , compare to places with dooner meat and chips for 6 pounds , never again

Have to say I was really disappointed after having an amazing kebab at the headingley gaff. Went for chicken and doner. Hardly any chicken and it was missing the roasted veg and feta, both I was really looking forward to. Probably stick to headingley one.

Food never arrived. I make a small order through justeat after 11pm and you can’t even manage that. You accepted my order, and even updated it just before 12 midnight to say drivers assigned, but then nothing after that. I then call you about 5 times, it rings out with no answer. I haven’t even ordered from you before, but I certainly won’t be doing again. Clearly rude, incompetent staff who don’t give a toss because it’s a Saturday night. Get better staff or just close, useless and pathetic.

Omg had a donor wrap from here and I'm addicted. They taste just like they used to before donor kebabs changed for the worse. I am addicted and will be back. Massive and delicious, best kebab I've had in years.

Absolutely disgusting. Website says open until 02.30. Turned up at 02.10 and turned away saying closed. Please don’t advertise 02.30 if you close earlier. Not on. I walked to your restaurant specifically for food at the end of the night knowing your standard but was left disappointed.

Awesome kebabs, no dirty donners about this and very tasty

Very disappointed. Been wanting to try this for months as it looks like it would do a good doner but this is very very dry. Not much of any ssauce Pricey for what it is. I will not be coming back unfortunately and feel this was a waste of money sadly. Needs more filling and sauce and flavour and softer bread.

Like they say, not a dirty doner. Really tasty and you can make it as bespoke as you like. You order online but is delivered by hand with a friendly service. Will be back and definitely recommend.

Ordered the large house kebab, house salad with extra chicken and sweet potato fries. I do not normally eat doner meat but I can honestly say that was the tastiest meat and the salad was delicious. It was surprisingly bigger than what I thought it was going to be and couldn't eat it all. Would defo recommend.

Thankfully the same great service and food as the Headingley one but with more space, a free jukebox and far less chance of suddenly being in the midst of a drunken crowd in fancy dress. Window seating means you're often elevated to the source of entertainment for waiting bus passengers with nothing better to look at.

Was a very poor donner. Nice idea, but they're clearly penny pinching in this place now, from previously high standards in Headingley. Quality control is poor and the bread tasted like it'd been frozen for 2 months. Disappointing.

Friendly staff and an amazing kebab! Good selection of meats (or veg/vegan options), delicious sauces, and you can customise your meal however you want. Have your kebab in a wrap, on rice, over salad, or over chips. Super delicious!

Absolutely huge, very tasty kebabs. A friend described them described as a horse bothering size, in that if you threw it at a horse, it would be bothered. Stellar food, friendly staff, good value. Only negative is the wait but it's worth it. Now very full. Zero regrets.

Really good kebabs that are so tasty you don't want to wait the 20-25 minutes that I've had to endure a couple of times. You can order online (it's completely cashless) to skip the queue tho. I also enjoy sitting at the window eating this colossal feat of meat (vegan option available) as passers by look both envious and appalled in equal measure.

Didn’t let me me order over the phone as they don’t take orders unless they are paid for. So put the effort in to walk 20 minutes and order then i was told they don’t accept cash, if they have trust issues with staff handling money why is that being passed onto the customer? When i was there i stood there for at least 2 minutes and a women came to the front only to ignore me and answer the phone. But if the phone didn’t ring i would have probably stood there a lot longer. Waste of time and waste of effort!

Worst experience of my life horrible mucky place dirty oil to fry the chips or they used yesterdays chip when asked for a large Doner you get two strips and when you try to asked the staff a question they blame the management saying it’s what we’ve been told to give you, definitely will NOT recommend visiting!
