Food was nice, and the manager is a nice guy. However the staff that served us were very blunt and passive aggressive and should be mindful of their attitude- as you don’t always know who you might be serving.

For a restaurant with a well-known name over the door it was underwhelming...the fish and chips were basic, I've had much better recently in Hawes; the Lincolnshire poacher cheese was basic cheddar, the quince was tiny 5mm by 5mm by 20mm, the figs were tiny too 10mm diameter. And expensive...

Brought my wife and kids here after a trip to the theatre. The pizza was well made, tasty and plentiful and the service was great and friendly. We're already planning on coming again next time we're in London.

Damir looked after us today for our dinner , fantastic service , very welcoming and great food!

Was there last week but forgot to leave a review. The service of Damir and the other man (I believe he is the manager) was awesome! Starter was great. Loved the passion fruit cocktail. Beef wellington is worth trying. Dessert platter was wonderful (3 scoops of ice cream, new york cheesecake, choco fondant and a slice cake/bread). PS The taste of the berry sauce on the new york cheesecake was a little bit weird for me.

Loved the atmosphere. Ordered the Wagyu meatballs and it was delicious. The Fish and chips was awesome as well. Very crunchy! Also, the chef (sorry, chef!) attended to every single request we asked due to our diet restriction. Shout out to Tuhen for the amazing service as well. The best. 🙌

We recently visited Bread Street Kitchen & Bar - Southwark for our wedding anniversary, and while we didn’t mention the occasion, the staff still made us feel really special. The team was professional and attentive throughout, and the overall experience was great! One minor downside was that the building had scaffolding up, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the exterior and obstructed the view from the windows, as we could only see scaffold poles. However, this didn’t take away too much from the atmosphere inside. We opted for the Beef Wellington experience, which was a first for us, and it was lovely! You share a selection of starters, followed by the main event – the Beef Wellington, and then a selection of desserts. Every course was well-prepared and tasted great. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience. Even with the scaffolding, I can’t really say anything negative, so I’m giving it 5 stars. It’s definitely worth trying, especially for a special occasion!

Me and my partner had a lovely dinner at the restaurant and were taken care of by Damir who provided 1st class service.

Food was excellent (particularly the chicken wings!), the atmosphere was great with a jazzy soundtrack playing in the background and the service from Damir was first class.

We were really estatic to eat at another one of GR restaurants. His Hells Kitchen an Pub in Vegas are absolutely superb taste wise. However this place was lackluster in all of its foods. We wish we had just eaten downstairs at the pizza place. It may have had more flavor. The kids Mac taste more like rosemary an herbs then cheese. The ceaser salad needs flavor. Anything. Pepper. Salt. Lemon. Season. Flavor. The burger was so thick an so tasteless that I ended up cutting the patty in half an adding salt. We didn’t even finish half of our food. We ordered bread an it came hard. For the atmosphere an price. It would have been nice to have it warmed up. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere is romantic an rustic. The food left us wondering how we spent upwards of £150 an all three of us didn’t like any of the food.

Food was amazing. Service was great but especially from Lee, he really looked after us & gave us both a complimentary drink after finding out we were visiting on our anniversary. Would definitely recommend the seasonal set menu

Food was bland. Lamb ribs needed some apricot or sauce as it was dry and flavourless. The chocolate brownie was burnt.

Was not bad.. the Sandwiches were a bit spicy but otherwise it’s ok. Not sure it’s worth 27 for a sandwich. Sticky date pudding was amazing.. Service was great.. our waiter did a very good job.

The food was amazing! Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and they went above and beyond to provide us a great service and just made us feel very comfortable in general, especially Damir, he even gave us a mango sorbet with ‘Happy Birthday’ written on it for dessert! Food good and the staff were very friendly!

We went there for my birthday, and I felt very welcoming here. The stuff Damir is especially polite and friendly. The food is surprisingly filling, and taste good, of course. Overall, it’s a very good experience, recommend it.

We had a cocktail masterclass voucher as a present and so glad we chose this place. Riccardo was absolutely fantastic from start to end. The knowledge he had about different types of alcohol was fascinating and I felt like we learnt so much whilst having the best time! We had three cocktails - ones I’ve not had before - and all were so tasty. We also got some food at the end which was a really nice touch. A very lovely evening!

Damir our server was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He fully explained the menu to us and what was available. His service was brilliant. A true asset to the restaurant and the business itself. Would happily recommend him to anyone and he deserves all the praise he gets!!

Had a delicious meal here after receiving a voucher from Virgin Experiences. Highly recommend the chicken wings (starter), pork ribs (main) and Mac and cheese! Our server Damir was a delight and super kind and attentive. Fab dinner!

The Sunday roast was excellent quality and a hefty portion size, make sure you come with plenty of room to spare. The cocktails were also very well made, the extra spicy Bloody Marys hit the spot. Our server Damir was very friendly and attentive and we couldn’t ask for better. I can heartily recommend bringing some friends and family for a good time.

Wonderful service and exceptional treat from Damir :) who got me a homemade lemonade and took care of our food so it wouldn’t get cold. The place was quiet, nice atmosphere with pleasant music and friendly staff. We enjoyed the Sunday roast and the sticky toffee pudding, both were delicious and enjoyable without leaving us feeling too heavy.

Visited this past weekend with a large group from outside this country. Was offered a glass of bubbly, when this was declined by most of the party because they do not drink alcohol, this was pushed as it was a gift from the restaurant. When people say they don't drink alcohol it's probably not going to change their mind even when you say it's a gift. Our waiter would frequently go outside for a cigarette and when he returned it was clearly obvious as he smelled heavily of cigarettes. We had been moved from a different BSK due to a burst pipe but the restaurant was totally empty, no atmosphere.

We had a first lovely visit for my sisters birthday. Staff were attentive and provided a top notch service. With definitely be back! Hopefully to visit Street Pizza! :) :)

Had a lovely dinner and was well looked after by GM Lee and our waiter was great Great cocktails and would defo recommend the wagyu meatball starter and butter chicken curry!

We walked down the street from our hotel and had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious, steak cooked perfectly and the burger was thick and perfectly prepared as well. The service received was top notch. I only wish we would have found this place sooner.

Great service, Great food. Compliments to every member of staff on the 27/8/2024 Errol and Jay Chefs on our day..fabulous tasting food. Starters : I had the best ever prawn cocktail, I will def be back in for more the next time I'm in London. I chose the toasted sandwich which was so flavoursome and tender, melt in the mouth. It came with a serving of the best fries I've ever tasted. Saddly I couldn't squeeze them in as was full and saving room for the cheesecake. I was served by Damir and Francesco, both were fantastic throughout our visit. Finished of with a chat with Lee. I've actually won customer service competitions, unknowingly and with a couple of different work places.. It would take a lot to win against the staff here. They really do go over above and beyond. Food is ok but definitely not worth the money. Kids meat ball pasta is completely dry and the meat ball is like rubber, not edible at all. Recommended do not come here to eat.

The 3 of us had the most amazing time here 12th August 2024. Beef Wellington excellence for 2 plus a flat iron steak with starters! Wow the food is out of this world BUT the staff made this visit! They are wonderful every single one. Attention to detail totally perfect. Cocktails extremely good as was everything. See you again soon.

We came for a lunch and it was pretty empty so the service was good. Ceaser salad just not great - not enough dressing, chicken is bland. That was a large portion, overpriced for what we got and not tasty. Lovely Prosecco glasses.

What an embarrassment. I don’t know where to start. This is probably the worst place I’ve eaten in London. Service is surly at best, food is average (at best) and ambience is like eating in an industrial warehouse. Avoid it, there’s so much better. £15 for some meatballs and £24 for a fat soaked sandwich!!!

Very poor food! Booked for 5 people 8pm on Saturday night. The large restaurant was empty apart from one other table. Two of us ordered the chickpea and aubergine curry. This contained no aubergine as far as I could see, had pieces of raw carrot and tasted of absolutely nothing except a tin of chickpeas. No spices, completely bland. The saffron rice was dry and old looking and also tasted of nothing. Another guest ordered fish and chips which were just ok, nothing special. A minute portion of mushy peas and mayonnaise came with it, the chips were fine. Two guests ordered baked cod which was also bland. Three of us ordered chocolate fondant for dessert. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait which was fine. Two of the fondants were completely solid like a piece of dried up chocolate cake! One was exchanged for a sticky toffee pudding which was nothing at all special. We were not charged for the fondants and told that the chef had some technical difficulties! I honestly don't think there was a chef in the kitchen at all. No Gordon Ramsey chef would have served us this appalling meal, I'm not surprised the restaurant was empty. The waitors were friendly and nice but seemed nervous and totally inexperienced. It was such a pity, the restaurant decor is great and in a good location but something has very gone wrong. A waste of money and a very disappointing evening.
