It's nice to be able to take yor dog when you are out for a walk and be able to sit in comfort and have a warm drink and something to eat. Your dog has a selection of treats and will be spoilt. The staff have a warm welcome for everyone dogs as well

What a lovely idea for those with dogs who don't want to leave them home. This is paradise for the pooches and the humans love the coffee, cakes and snacks. The dog ice cream is a massive hit too. During restrictions we ordered through their delivery service and had really good steak and ale pies and wedges. The dog also had a treat box and now keeps running to the front door in case they are bringing another one for him.

I have been a fan of this cafe from the start. Yesterday I called on friends who were also going there with their two dogs and two children. The daughter asked why I kept going there because I don’t have a dog!! You don’t have to have a dog. People love talking about their puppies and bigger dogs. You meet new folks. The staff are so welcoming. The food is home made and cooked just as you ask for it.

I regularly visit this café for lunch and I don't even own a dog. Lovely place to sit and watch the animals play, work on a laptop or chat to people. There are several dishes to choose from including some lovely home made pies, and cakes. They cater for all dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegan and low fat or you can just enjoy a coffee. There are two gated sections (small and large dogs) so the dogs can roam about safetyThe dogs can have treats Ice cream and even "pupuccino's". There is ample water for them to drink. There are toys available also. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. They will try their best to accommodate every need for the dogs and humans. The cafe is kept clean and there are sanitation stations where you can wash and sanitise your hands. Dog birthday parties are available and the cafe hosts several different events and clubs to help socialise your Dogs and get tips from fellow owners. Overall a lovely place to visit and a great addition to Caerphilly town centre.

Lovely little cafe with dogs in the centre of carrphilly! Bring ur own pooches or fuss the ones that are there already. Food selection is fantastic for me as they have gluten free meals and treats as well which are completely celiac friendly. I honestly never realised how much I had missed brownies since stopping gluten and their home made food is great with all kinds of food for those with dietary requirements. Bring your dog (big and small dog areas) all welcome and water and treats as well as a selection of toys are on hand ready. There are even special hand wash and sanitizer stations so you don't need to worry about hairs in your lunch. Very friendly staff who are most a accommodating and produce a very fun and relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend for families, dog lovers and anyone who enjoys home made food. Overall a great lunch destination WITH DOGS 😁 does it get any better than that!

Puppy sitting so group of 6, wife, self and four dogs. To be able to enjoy coffee and light meal brilliant with dogs doing their own thing safely off lead and safe. Attentive Service. Should add wife on mobility scooter and the two puppies in doggy pushchair. Well worth it and a visit.

Stopped by ere the other day as found out recently that it had opened. Lovely to see all the dogs already in there and it's separated into two secure parts, one section for big dogs the other for the smaller breeds. The girl running the place was so friendly and brought out liver dog treats for our little hound - there are toys and a 'swap shop' area of dog clothes and other things. There was a puppy interacting with the smaller dogs and his owner said it's been really useful going there and training the puppy that way. I would definitely plan to pop in again, I'm looking forward to Spring when on a nice day can walk around the castle with the dog and call in for a coffee and snack!

I visited the puppy socialisation event on Friday afternoon. It was great for my shy puppy. A bit overwhelming at first, but he definitely improved, so it was a great opportunity to do that in a safe place. The staff is great and very helpful, I have yet to try the food, but it looks great. A wonderful initiative, would love to see it develop further.

I love going here, with and without my dog. This is such a lovely, friendly place to visit where you will make new friends two legged as well as four legged. The owner has a real passion for pooches which can clearly be seen with her interaction with them, the food is lovely and the prices are reasonable. There are two sections for dogs and owners that are both fenced in (so are nice and safe) with comfy chairs, table and chairs, dog toys and beds and a cleaning station for any doggy mishaps. A real hidden gem.

This is one of my favourite places lovely atmosphere friendly and helpful staff food is delicious would highly recommend the nut roast on this occasion I've only given two stars for the food but this was only due to them waiting for a food delivery so the available menu was very limited but the food we did have was well presented and definitely good value

Been eating from here for a few years and always been good (not award winning good but good) but the last 3 times it has gone down hill and tonight it was inedible dried up chips and sausage in batter that had obviously been hanging about for a while not sure why they would look at the chips and think they were ok to serve tbh and a really smelly fish 😣. Will be finding another chippy

We went to the Oak tonight as a family to celebrate my son's birthday. The food (curry's mostly as it was curry night), were delicious. Real chips too. Paula served us tonight and went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed, she welcomed and looked after the children needs too. Rob also as always is very helpful and keen to make eating her an enjoyable experience. Lastly a shout out to the young lad serving us who was also lovely. I think that he is learning off the best. Thank you guys. We appreciate you.

Not as nice as it used to be. Only 2 people eating there when we visited. Long wait at the bar to be served.
