Tasty lunch. Very friendly staff giving the whole place a nice atmosphere.

The layout is so much better. And it's lovely to see the wasted space filled with flowers and plants. Where it used to be a restricted area. The redevelopment of the cafe/restaurant looks great. Although we didn't visit it.

We went for a lunch and it was incredibly busy. Despite that we had a great service. Thank you all for trying your best to accommodate all your customers.

Has an aquatic centre so automatic 5⭐️ But lovely little garden centre, bit of pain to get out onto the 414 if it's busy but just have to floor it 😉 Cafe was very busy so unfortunately didn't manage to visit that. Loads of indoor plants however, with loads of helpful advice around on what ones to get/ how to care for.

Mother’s day lunch was an absolute shambles. Took an hour for our starters to come and when they did it was thoroughly underwhelming - Soup and half a baguette, pate with a single slice of toast , and a mushroom which was all cold by the time it arrived. Waited another 40 minutes with no sign of our mains or our plates being cleared so cut our losses and left. Young staff moping around didn’t seem to care no one was getting their food. Why have a preordered set menu if it isn’t prepared for when people arrive!!! Dreadful.

Worth a visit if only for the food in the café which was great.

Good place for a browse around. Another visit today 6/3/24, and new season's plants starting to come in now.

Amazing service from Burstons restaurant for our mum’s funeral afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble and Laura and her team looked after our party so well. Delicious food too - highly recommended for a private function. And loads of parking too. Thanks to everyone

A great place to stop off on a longer journey. The selection of fine foods gave me plenty to choose from for Christmas presents, lots of unusual finds. Excellent. Not too far from Starbucks over the other side of the road if you fancy a coffee, although it does have a.cafe in-house.

Christmas lunch, 3 courses and mince pies and coffee, good food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. We go here regularly for coffee.

Really sad visit today. There are no signs at or near the santas grotto to say you have to pre book. There was no queue. After sat fir a few minutes we were told wgats your booking. We had to then explain to our daughter why she couldn't visit santa. May I suggest putting a sign so other parents don't have to disappoint there child. I usually love this garden centre, but today you've severely disappointed and let down. Adited to add: Jill has emailed me And has basically criticised me for not avidly following them on social media. After I responded she has then gone on to say there is signage. I have highlighted a problem that signage is not obvious or clear and all Jill from burstons has done it criticised me and make excuses along with critiquing masked by empty apologies. Not a nice attitude from Burstons at all! Clearly they are not going to make any improvement on this, which is very sad.

A lovely large garden centre. Very well stocked. Lovely and helpful staff. Large car park with easy access everything. Clean facilities and fairly priced stock. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Ordinarily I love this place! But I witnessed such awful treatment of an employee that I’m shocked! This female burston staff member started yelling and publicly embarrassing one of her burston coworkers on his lunch break in the cafeteria! I could see how embarrassed the boy was, I felt very sorry for him! Need to train your team to do better and have respect for each other. If he did something wrong you tell him quietly! Ruined my lunch!

Everything, as always, of good quality and very nice service.

Went for coffee and scones. Good food not rushed to finish and leave. colouring and crayons to keep youngsters occupied. Enjoyable and relaxing.

Nice garden centre and lovely food

I needed a treat breakfast, everyone told me their breakfast was good, a great time to give it a try. Walked in to the restaurant to be welcomed by smiling staff, a good start. Ordered the full breakfast except the black pudding (not keen), changing the order was not a problem. The food arrived fairly quickly, was presented nicely and tasted amazing. A member of staff appeared to check that everything was ok, and then left me alone to enjoy me breakfast. If you want a treat breakfast, highly recommended

We had a very nice Sunday roast dinner there and picked up a few things. It's very enjoyable, and well worth a visit.

A great shopping experience. They're well stocked with seasonal items for the home and garden.

Didn't have what I needed on the day. But normally has a very comprehensive range of products. Fantastic staff and service. Only issue is the entrance and exit is really difficult to negotiate with the fast traffic on the main road.

Not normally one to review garden centres as I don't have a clue but now live in a house with a garden I have to try. A lady called Fiona was working there and if it hadn't of been for her I would have left having purchased nothing and feeling totally overwhelmed. Fiona was brilliant and made the whole process enjoyable, funny and I left with exactly what I needed after some great advice. I'll definitely be going back and will hope to see her again, what a great asset to this company she is! :)

Very good garden centre with broad range at competitive prices. Difficult (and sometimes dangerous) entrance/exit from/to a fast dual carriageway.

What a fantastic garden centre - so much choice. We had afternoon tea 🍵 😋 for a birthday present 🎁. Absolutely delicious & so much variety & freshly made. Can't praise them enough.

More housewares, gifts and goodies than plants but that could just be because of the time of year! Cafe offers a good choice of hot and cold foods.

I used to love this place. It went downhill badly. They banned dogs. Used to have a dog seating area. Still has pet department buy you can't bring your dog inside. I'm disabled and my small dogs are my therapy animals. I even had a letter from the NHS autism worker stating that. Yet they won't let them in. I'm not letting my two well behaved dogs roast in the car, so Burston has lost a Customer of 30+ years. Kids behave worse than my animals. Bad decision Burstons

Great place to go and experience alot of variety, very well maintained and kept facility, only wish they had more availability and consistency when it came to vegetable plants to save me from going to competitors to buy them.

Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful

We went there with a large party for lunch. The tables were all set up ready. The service was a little bit slow, but they were trying to sort out our party of 15+ and the other customers. They did well considering. Several of us had hunters chicken, it was nice but a little bit on the dry side. It needed a lot more sauce. I would recommend visiting, I do appreciate we were a large party for lunch. Thank you for your reply we will be tyred on the 25th July for our next lunch 😀

Went there today. I couldn't find everything that I wanted, but the staff were lovely to deal with. All so helpful and friendly!

A depressing amount of plastic plants and flowers, and poor quality food in the restaurant. Would not go back

Locking doors and closing the shop before the actual closing time isn’t a great look, I understand to an extent why. But good customer service would of been offering to open the locked door considering I was already in the actual shop so I could quickly grab something instead of telling me we close at 6 at 5:55.

Nice place, although some of the stands make it difficult to get around in a wheelchair.

Loved this little gem of a place. Found it on a Google search and enjoyed my visit. Great little independent shops on site as well as a dine in eatery. Fabulous farm shop too. Loved it 😍

Lovely garden centre, lots to brows, easily did 2hrs. Nice coffee and cake aswell, really relaxing time.

I love the garden centre, was slightly disappointed by the vegetarian breakfast at the restaurant. Mushrooms, canned tomatoes, and spinach were really bad. Eggs, beans and vegetarian sausage were not bad. No hushbrowns. Toast and butter are good. Staff are very friendly

Excellent range of garden paraphernalia, plants, gifts, eco-friendly products and the best card selection in the area. Good cafe and lunches. Staff very friendly and helpful and customer service excellent. Loyalty card actually worth something (I get a £15 voucher a couple of times a year). Family run business.

Garden Centre, what else is there to say.

It is a very good size garden centre with different options from inside and outside plants and furniture. The little caffe place is lovely which makes very nice hot meal and cakes

Large inside with lots of different areas. However is more expensive than other places. Cafe was awful, no choice or anything available!
