I asked for a bacon and egg sandwich with the egg yolk well done. I even made a joke about wearing it on my top if it was runny! After paying for it with the young nail biting girl...( not what you want to see when ordering food). I sat down to eat it. 1 bite in and my plate full of yolk i ask myself why bother?!! Not my best experience, especially when the lady said she'd fetch it over. I thought how nice as I had a pram. What transpired was she gave me my tray back at the cash register. I then had to make my way a table not only with the bacon and egg sandwich but also my hot coffee whilst pushing my pram. I then had to look around for a high chair whilst the 3 staff had their morning catch up. Thank you ladies. You really did go above and beyond...not!!

The food was OK. Cracked plate, no clean knives. Staff, well, I hope they are volunteers because if they are getting paid, then they need some training as their customer service skills are shocking.

Delicious food at very affordable prices. The dessert sponge cake and custard is to die for!

Only had a cup of coffee ☕️and a scone.

Choice of menu n prices were extremely good. Service was quick n staff friendly. It was also very clean.

Lovely food at really good prices

The food is alright and it's cheap. But the mountain hotdog is horrible. You don't get told its not meat either, it's to late once you've bitten into it. Staff are great.

Hospitals are supposed to make you feel better, not worse :(

My daughter went in for day surgery and with in 90 minutes I got a phone call to say she's ready to go home.

Top food, better than Blackburn hospital

A proper meal at more than reasonable price. It would be good if they offered breakfast untill a little later in the day but other then this I'm really surprised to say this I'd a hospital restaurant also the kitchen staff are lovely 😊

Food is disgusting I ordered the seafood pasta, never actually saw any seafood in it and the pasta was overcooked, didn't eat it

On 3 separate occasions I have seen utensils that have touched meat, touch other food any one who is a vegetarian or eat halal food can't eat from there on all 3 occasions I went to the restaurant to get some food after what I was I left, disappointed in a hospital cross contamination is happening.

Good food but the lady at the till was not smiling at me for some reason. Even though I smiled and presented myself in a very humble manner.

Yes the food is cheap.. Its not good at all I got chips and gravy one time and the gravy was so disgusting. I couldn't eat the chips. Found the service poor some of the staff where nice.

Gotta say this was like a real step back in time to my school meals having an ice cream scoop of mash. Loved my lunch it was the best roast beef dinner I have had for years. Thanks

Nice restaurant, good food good prices

The food is always fresh and good and at a good price which is great if you're stuck in hospital visiting for days on end. In fact the food is often better than what's served on the wards. Great staff and service and helps keep the service running.

Just what visitors and patients need

Big place could easily get lost thank god for lovely helpful staff not writing the negative because it was not their fault

The person who served us wore blue gloves, as she should, but she also took the money and gave me my change from the till wearing the same blue gloves! Not really infection control is it?

All nurses and doctors were really nice nice canteen were we had a breakfast

Really good food compared to some hospital canteens I've been to. Good choices and friendly staff. Prices are a smidge high.
