Great service, nice and calm which we were looking for, no halloumi left to order, food was pretty great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best Sunday Roast in the area! We’ve visited a couple of times by now and tried chicken, beef and pork options. The meat is always cooked and spiced so well, everything on the plate has its own distinct flavour and works so well together. Also, love the giant Yorkshire puds. The staff is so lovely, the pub is super cozy and I really recommend you try the IPA or the “Lodestar” if you’re visiting!

Great pub with immaculate vibes! Very reasonably priced for drinks and food. Food was banging, amazing comfort food with fantastic roasts on a Sunday with a wide variety of selection. Portion sizes are bang on and more than fair. Staff are very friendly and approachable especially the main man himself Joe. Lovely, friendly, talented guy is the king in the kitchen making the magic happen and is full of recommendations of sights to see and places to visit while in town. Would come back just to see him again. All in all, great place for amazing food and drinks.

Carl is a great quiz host! The negative review from November is completely untrue, I can personally vouch that the reviewer was the one creating the awkward atmosphere and disrupting the quiz. The staff here are always extremely friendly and it's a great place to visit.

Had a couple drinks here before we had a meal elsewhere. The young man on the bar was very friendly, welcoming, helpful and polite. However, as we were ordering a chef barged in and interrupted, he spoke to the barman in such a rude and appalling manner I was horrified. The chef did not apologise for interrupting, but the barman did apologise on his behalf. Not a display I would expect from a fully grown man, belittling and shaming the barman. Credit to the barman for keeping his cool and professional manner, as I would not have reacted the same.

Quiz night was an amazing experience! The show leader Carl gave an extraordinarily good presentation! One of the best event in Cambridge for sure!

The quiz master (with tattoos on his face) was very respectful towards women and nobody was humiliated. He is friendly and charismatic and did a great quiz. Lovely pub too, will defo come back!!!

Unfortunately the service was very slow and unprofessional. There was not many choices left on the menu and the roast that we did have was bland.

We as family all had roasts, not very good. Roasties not crispy, Topside of beef very tough and gravy very average.For the price of roast was expecting more quality, this place used to do great roast dinners with delicious jus not bisto gravy.

The food was simply amazing, you’ll be hard pressed trying to find a better pub to eat in, in Cambridge! The 4 for £20 starters is an incredible offer and the Brewpoint beer selection is a treat too, I would definitely recommend everybody try a pint or 5 of the Checkpoint IPA!

I was recommended by my friend to have a lunch in Burleigh Arms, my first visit and we all loved it . I haven’t had so tasty food for a long time. Like to say compliment to the chef. I really like this pub which we visit at least a couple of times each month. Good food, nice atmosphere and usually the staff are great. However, the review titled "rude barmaid" caught my eye as it ties in with our experience on Friday 2 August 2019. The lady who seems to be the manager was as lovely as usual, and the young man who is often serving turned up and he was also as charming as ever, but there were two young female servers dressed in black who were very sullen and gave the impression that they'd rather not be there, and they definitely did not want to engage politely with customers e.g. we were totally blanked when we said "hello" on walking in. The owner (who I think also runs The Old Spring) needs to keep an eye on this! So, with regret, I am only giving three stars this time as the staff make a big difference.

Alex and the Burleigh Arms hosted my 50th birthday party in style! The whole experience was fantastic, from first meeting Alex (landlord) to discuss the possibility of having my party there, right through to the party itself which finished in the early hours of the morning.

Came here with my family had a great meal and great service, my girlfriend had a gin and tonic and there was so much choice the staff were really helpful and recommended one she really liked. All in all a definite 5 star experience

We met with family here for Sunday lunch. 7 of us in all including 2 vegans and a vegetarian. There was a good choice for all of us from the menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal together. Couldn’t fault the food or the service.

I often stop here for a drink, the locals and the staff are fantastic and welcoming with a fantastic choice of premium beers and a good selection of spirits (especially gin) and cocktails, the food is fantastic but you need to be here to see the specials menu as there are always several specials on that chance regularly, the Sunday dinner is fantastic with a good veggie choice on all menus!

Had such a different experience from the reviews we read here that I almost wonder if we went to the wrong place!
