Burgers & Pizza Bistro in Sedgemoor

This restaurant is under new management and after happily visiting regularly for a couple of years I can honestly say it is awful now! Please bring back the former manager/chef!! The food is either served raw (poached egg on toast) cold, completely over cooked and tastes like everything is cooked in vinegar. As a party of 10 our food was brought out over a 45 minute period which would have been acceptable during busy periods but we were the only customers in at the time. Unfortunately if I could have given a zero score I would have done.. we attempted to give them a last chance today but after yet another diabolical meal we will not be returning. There are far nicer restaurants in the town.

I went for lunch with my grandson. Most pizza placed in Burnham are evenings only so I took the chance for a lunchtime pizza. Firstly the good, my grandson's choice by was bacon, egg and chips. The bacon was really good and a generous 3 rashers, he wasn't to worried about his egg being over easy but it meant he couldn't dip his slightly undercooked,but generous portion of chips in. He raved about his banana milkshake The pizza though was not very good it was a greasy base, like pizza hut bases, there didn't appear to be any tomato sauce but a thick layer of cheese, they were over generous with the anchovies,which luckily didn't seem to be as salty as usual.

I'd like a pizza with cheese, not burnt pizza, cooked twice, horrible cardboard pizza, the box probably tasted nicer. Poor customer service via phone and worse when phoned to complain. Save your money, get a properly cooked pizza, go somewhere else!! 🤢

We visited by chance a couple of weeks ago. We happened to be in the town and wanted something to eat and it was one of the few options that was open. The prices were very reasonable, dare I say cheap. But the service was really excellent, the young lady who served us was very friendly and efficient. As well as serving us she was cleaning tables and tidying up. The food arrived very swiftly and was very enjoyable, fish and chips and a burger. The decor or the restaurant is very simple but for a quick and cheap meal it was truly excellent. I recommend it.

Food is cooked fresh and came out hot, the staff are friendly and always smiling, the food is reasonably priced and everything was clean and looked nice. Would recommend to anyone and will be going back on my next visit to the beach with out hesitation
