Stopped at the Leigh Delamere Services Burger King during a long drive, and I was genuinely impressed by both the food and the service—especially thanks to Ben, our server. Ben was incredibly friendly, welcoming us with a big smile and making us feel like valued customers from the moment we walked in. He was patient while we browsed the menu, offered helpful suggestions, and ensured our order was spot on. His positive attitude and attention to detail really elevated the experience. The restaurant itself was clean and well-organized, and the food was exactly what you'd hope for—hot, fresh, and satisfying. My Whopper was cooked just right, the fries were crispy and not greasy, and even the drinks were perfectly chilled. Ben even took the time to check in with us after we received our food, which you just don’t expect at a motorway services stop. Awful place, avoid at all costs. Staff throwing cheese at each other, acting like they’re on the playground, this was around 20:25 on Wednesday 23rd, check CCTV. Three out of 4 burgers were wrong, £56 on absolute garbage from waste of space staff. The manager was helpful when he came back from a break, but the two staff in the kitchen and the one serving’s jobs should be seriously considered. Appalling.

I’ve used multiple times and always delivers. It’s a motorway service BK so it’ll be busy at times but I’ve had good food from them and always cooked fresh. Also used as too good to go location and good bags provided. Happy with the guys there!

Pulled into here on way back from Heathrow ordered food at 10:25. They close at 11:00. They cooked burgers fresh but we’re going to give us old chips that had been hanging around. Couldn’t have a coffee as they said it was having problems! Actually they had cleaned it so didn’t want to use it again! When we asked if they were about to give us the old chips they said yes! After another gentleman said exactly the same as us they eventually cooked us all fresh. Which we all got at 10:55! Then they closed at 10:59. Need to get your act together. I get you want to go home but if you advertise that you are open until 11:00 then treat people coming in after a long journey with the same service that you would at 10 am in the morning as the price is the same!

I’ll be honest I did not have high hopes when pulling into Leigh del. As a lorry driver, I have been to nearly every service station in the country, and majority of the time I leave disappointed. However when I walked into this Burger King, I was surprised by how clean and well designed the place was. I was greeted by a lovely chap named Ben, he was so kind, honestly that kids gonna go far. I also met Masie and she had great work ethic, put Ben to shame as he’s a bit of a talker. Anyways it got to the food, that whopper was so fresh and delicious, Ben was telling me all about where they get their ingredients. Overall great stop, I’ll be asking my boss to put me en route here more often.

Ordered at the do it yourself kiosk but it wouldn’t accept payment it asked you to go to the counter, when I went to the counter the server said they were too busy to take payment. He wasn’t doing anything when I asked! This meant I had to wait even longer for my food as the order isn’t started until payment is made. Prices are already extreme in services without the terrible service. See photo for how busy it wasn’t.

The most abysmal service I have ever experienced. 28 minutes to receive a burger and chips when I was the ONLY customer is pathetic. The staff were too busy out the back gossiping rather than doing any actual work, except the young girl out the front who you could see was embarrassed her colleagues were not working. I could have flown to India , sourced the cow myself , and created my own Angus burger in the time in took for my food to come. Sack them all.

We always stop at these services, partly because of it being the same name as the singer from the band, Average Speed Check and we are never disappointed. Whether it be because it sits on laylines or the neogothic architecture but the service is always second to none and the atmosphere arousing. Like entering a different realm. The hallumi fries are one of europes best keep secrets.

Waited 15 minutes for a so called fast food restaurant when it wasn’t busy, 2 maybe 3 people waiting. Chicken Royale with cheese had no lettuce but bacon although no bacon was ordered. Chips were cold and the sprite drink was soda water. Only positive was the guy who served us, seemed to be the only one behind the counter doing everything. 1 member of staff visible isn’t good enough for a Services stop off. Reading previous reviews it seems a common thing so won’t be visiting Burger King here again. Poor

Literally sat in here right now as I'm eating my share box and typing just come from a long day of being short staffed, on a long trip home for the weekend. ordered a share box and a burger meal. Its very clear the staff are overwhelmed as there are only like 2 or 3. yet they have the attitude and willpower of a full team! They are very friendly and going as fast as they can! it seems like everyone understands as since I have been here people have respectfuly waited. I only hope that customers before me have been patient too, as their patients will be rewarded. the staff are Alfie Clifford Callum Hardy Ruben Day. From one person who has been short staffed to another team who are. Thank you very much! People don't say it often enough, but your effort and dedication is noticed by people.

Dirty, slow, over-priced. It's about 88 pence per chicken nugget. You have to wait over 25 minutes for them. The place is dirty and messy. The service is almost non-existent. I'd recommend the KFC or Pret next door!

Wanted to leave a review about the staff more than anything. I had added milk and sugar to two cups of hot tea and was wondering how to get this and our burgers to the car as I was struggling with crutches; straight away Eddie Tomlin (the gentleman who served me) with a smile, said he would carry these to my car, above and beyond! The worst experience I’ve had at ANY Burger King Waited 20 minutes for food and when I mentioned it I was met with a “no you’ve been waiting 10 minutes” in a horrible tone calling me a liar and proceeded to tell me it’s on the screen when I had a receipt in my hand which said the time I ordered! We were there over 40 mins waiting for food, which was cold, wrong order, one wasn't vegetarian but should have been, one burger covered in hot sauce. Lots of people waiting, unhappy, 2 young staff trying to cope and stressed. Customers could hear swearing from the food prep area, and we have to wait 10 mins for a refund. Such a terrible experience and caused us a delay in our onward journey. Nothing good to say about the experience.

really shocking experience. over 20 minute wait at the drive through and i was the only person in the line. everything in the order was wrong except the drinks. missing items that i had to remind them of, meal/item sizes were wrong and i ordered vegan nuggets which could’ve actually been vegan but seeing as everything else was wrong i didn’t even trust it , and felt horrendously ill after only eating a couple. absolutely rubbish. do yourself a favour and don’t bother.

THIS IS THE WORST! After waiting over 20 minutes for our food and watching the teenager workers messing around and not cooking, we asked for a refund. It wasn't busy in there so was no reason for it to take so long. The refund took a further 10 minutes to do as the staff was clueless. Today I had a notification from my bank to say they had refunded me the £31.90 I had paid, but they took a further £34 from my bank account somehow. It really is criminal. Whilst there other customers was also unhappy. I'm glad I never ate their food because the staff just didn't give a toss. Avoid them like the plague.

Misrepresentation. Cheap, but the room is light years ahead of what we booked through the website. The images are really, REALLY not representative! The room smelled bad, the bathroom is from the 60's, there is mold and the shower has no pressure.

Pub was empty, waiter/landlord still insisted no prams as it blocks pathways (plenty of space). Food arrived cold, “vegan” menu was unflavoured potato curry. Held off this review for 2 years but I had nightmares again.
