Burger King in County Durham

We prefer BK To Macdonalds because the chips are so much better. We always sit watching the queues for Macdonalds and wonder why! We travel to BK as not one local But we always enjoy our food. No queues and served hot

I put no onions and you left lettuce out and put onions in not ordering from thinford again

So frustrating when the wrong items are delivered. Missing a double whooper and 2 bottles of water from our meals. 4 meals and there is always 1 wrong!

Ordered from uber eats and this is the second time half our order was missing from burger king, contacted the uber driver to see if there was any bags left in the car and he said no and to contact the burger king store. Tried and got disconnected straight away. How can you miss any food items when you have the receipt of what people have ordered.

My initial positive review of this Burger King has had to be updated due to a massive decline. While we visit occasionally due to my daughter's liking the occasional hamburger, the standard of service and cleanliness has declined noticeably. On several visits, significant portions of the dining area have been cordoned off, creating an impression of neglect. Furthermore, the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine consistently suffers from a lack of available flavour options. During our most recent visit, the quality of the food and service was unacceptable. The "Smokehouse Chicken" burger, priced over £10, was presented in a severely messy state. Crucially, the chicken fillet had been substituted by what appeared to be a cut to size/hand eaten portion of a Chicken Royale patty, seemingly forced to fit the bin, in a blatant attempt to pass it off as the correct item. When I raised this issue, the staff's response was dismissive and reluctant. They offered to remake the order, with a very bad attitude as if I was being unreasonable. I requested a refund instead since both our meals liked terrible. This refund was processed, but the staff failed to provide a receipt, leaving me with no record of the transaction. This lack of transparency and the overall poor quality of the experience, particularly the substandard and potentially unhygienic substitution of the chicken, have led me to conclude that I will not be returning. To make matters worse I fed this back to Burger King some weeks ago and am yet to receive a response.

Place was pretty dirty, staff uninterested, food was nothing like the pictures advertised and not hot nor very tasty

ordered at 7pm said it was arriving by 7:25pm finally turned up at 7:55pm missing large fries too not very happy as it was for my kids and not myself.

Order didn't turn up and the driver was rude over the chat system on here, he also lied to me!!! said he didn't have the order when I could see where he was on the map which was a street behind my street to where I live! when I called him out on this he then clicked to say it had been delivered so i couldnt see where he was or message him anymore!!! I'm fuming £40 order!!!

Items were missing from the order! And they are having the cheek to question refund request when they’ve been informed and not chose to rectify this! Absolute joke!

Driver was very polite and nice. Cold was cold but delivery was speedy xx

Every time I order from burger king, at least one item seems to be missing. Sort it out.

I need some help my you have took 24 pound out of my bank but receipt is only 19 92 why and you haven’t given me my extra sauce and my nuggets

absolutely shocking. ordered 2 meal deals, they show up without the fries or drinks, and I upgraded to the loaded cheesy bacon fries which cost extra. shame. absolutely shocking.

delivery on time after estimate changed 3 times, App showed driver waiting nearly 30mins while BK prepared one meal deal.Then when burger arrived it came without the cheese I'd paid extra for. Not really impressed.

I had a plant based whopper burger. I much rather pay a little more,(reasonable priced)than Mc Donald's as it is a quality burger & filling in my opinion. This burger king seems always quiet,so no waiting! It has a drive-through. This burger king is by the Thinford Roundabout. Has some parking.

The food from here is beautiful but the restaurant is too quiet. Need to use it guys or we'll lose it

Delivery was perfect. However, an item was missing from the order - loaded fries. It’s due to the restaurant not packing it. So nothing to do with the delivery at all.

Food ordered to fit allergy requirements. When food arrived my safe burger had mayo on. I have an severe life threating egg allergy. If you have food allergies please double check your order it's clear this branch of Burger King is disregarding order information and just knocking out orders to their liking.

My order had missing items 3 packets of chips i requested no lettuce onion or tomatoe on burgers ,it arrived with everything on .loaded chips were placed on top of a tub of ice cream and were freezing cold .did get a partial refund for burger&1 chips

Gave this place to many chances this is now the second time they have not giving us items which we have paid for, we ordered from uber eats (the family night in) and one of the meals is missing. The first time it happened I was at the drive, I can't believe this place hasn't got any better. Also the food we did get was cold! Never again avoid this burger king at all cost.

We come here with our autistic daughter, the staff always accommodate for her and are so helpful. All the staff have always been lovely but amy who always smiles and Anna and Cameron especially .are always spot on (being my daughters favourites as she likes to see them when we go and are so helpful, great team never let them go

Very quiet, which is good. It was also pleasant to see the staff cleaning up for the evening. It did still take a while for my food to be prepared, as it seems the "Just Eats" are prioritised, meaning my food was cold by the time I received it.

2hrs 20mins delivery time, food come cold and stale like it had been sat on the side for all the time it was late

Not impressed with our food this evening. To begin with it took 20 minutes just to get a chicken royal with no mayo as they kept making them with it over and over again. Then the food was freezing cold and you could tell it had been sat on the hit plate all day, it was hard and rubbery. Usually enjoy burger king but after this evening we won't be using this one again any time soon.

Never got fries with both meals and sauces were missing that I paid for, not the first time either. Not sure how you can miss fries when they part of the meal.

Twice i’ve amended my order on the digital board to include an extra patty on my chicken royale, twice no receipt has been given, twice received order with no extra patty and twice when asked about this have been told “you never added an extra patty”, once fair enough but twice with witnesses on the latter is very questionable and convenient when no receipt has been given. Food that was received was cold and just plain bad. Prices are on par with the likes of Five Guys but quality on par of a hut in Baghdad. Massive part of this is due to the fresh faced, recent GCSE sat workers left to fend for themselves, social club with a side of B-Tech cooking best describes this place. Avoid at all costs and go to Domino’s across the road which is in a league of it’s own compared to these scam artists.

£30 of food and it was all stone cold, the halloumi fries and onion rings tasted like they’d been cooked in 1926 and put back in the microwave, only received a £7 just eat account credit as a “good will gesture”. The entire order was inedible.

I placed my order at 5-45 and the delivery time kept being put back until 7-30.! The restaurant is only 2.5 miles from my home yet it took so long to get here I lost my appetite, just as well because the food was cold when it arrived. Well worth the £14-00 I paid NOT

Driver wasn't pleasant at all. food was cold. drinks were warm. quality of food disgraceful. paid extra for loaded fries, a small amount of bacon pieces and a tiny drizzle of cheese sauce, which was dried on to the box mostly. all of which tells me that the food had been prepared and stood for some time. will not be ordering again!

Burger King is my favourite takeaway at a service station, but not on JustEat. If you never turned up it’s cold or even worse it doesn’t turn up you don’t get your money back it’s not the best app on here
