Burger King in Gateshead

Visited the restaurant this morning not long after they opened, a manager helped me with the order machines and my food was lovely and hot, served quickly and with a smile. 10/10 will be back again best BK in the area!

The portions are so small. I feel robbed. Nothing like the burgers of the past. The drinks machines never had Diet Coke and this had to be corrected before I could get my drink. I wish I had gone to the MCDonalds across the road. I was reminded why I avoid Burger King.

Been here today- had a great experience. The environment was chill, and the staff were acctually very helpful and nice. The burger was on point – packed, hot and fresh! All in all, it was a solid meal. Definitely gonna hit this place up again!

Why is it so slow ?? It’s honestly a 30 minute experience every time I come, the staff seem to sloth about the place like they have nothing to do you never see more than 3 staff at once. Tonight my order wasn’t made making my wait even longer I had to go and ask where it was, not even an apology offered

Opens at 12, but the drink machine isn't stocked. When I said we'd like some De Pepper the lady comes out presses the Coke button and say the machine is working fine. Turns out that only the coke syrup compartment was actually stocked. Check your equipment before the shop opens, it's basic retail logic. The cappuccino I ordered was only about half full. Waiting times in this place are exceedingly longer than at other Burger Kings I've been to. The place is not well run, I'm sorry.

Lovely manager helped me on the kiosks and food was delivered quick and hot. Will be visiting again.

Recruit some staff! 25 minute wait for two meals is totally unacceptable. Not even an apology for the wait. One lad cooking and one serving is not enough.

Burger warm but not hot, fries nearly cold, onion rings warm, Fanta cold as expected. Staff were just chatting to each other and said they were on a go slow today. My food arrived within a reasonable time, but why was it not all hot?

Only 2 staff in?! Waited 15 mins which isnt bad but we only got half the food, not happy as chicken fries are overheld.

Gave my order 3 times because i was puzzled when the lad told me the price that was twice the normal amount . In the end I gave up . Finally got my order to find he'd given me twice what I'd order.. 2 burgers and 2 fries instead of 1.. this was after telling him 3 times. Defies belief

Great burger and fries. The girl serving looked bored out of her shull, she didn't talk, one of the drinks machines was off the other was only serving Dr pepper and lemonade it had run out of coke

Disgusting burger had to send back and ask for refund. Chicken was weird and rubbery and could not bite into it or through it. So expensive for what it is. Fries were cold, no ice in drinks machine, staff rude and unhelpful, toilets dirty, tables dirty and not cleared. For £35 for four meals what a rip off. Will never go in a BK again after this experience.

Uber eats delivery from burger King who sat on this order for over an hour before it was collected. No way it was stored in safe conditions. It arrived with slimy salad, cold congealed meat, congealed chips and to just make it perfect the coke was warm and sprayed everywhere. Surely after an hour you reprepare the meal.

Calm. Clean. Quiet. Angus Burger actually looked like it should and tasted amazing. Coffee hot and strong. Staff friendly and respectful of each other. I felt relaxed there. Quality restaurant thank you.

Staff completely got my order wrong and didn't listen at all, had to pay extra just to get the order I initially asked for. Macdonald's is across the way and the service is far better.

We visited on Saturday evening in a large group the staff were helpful and efficient in putting together our large order. The restaurant was spotless and food hot and fresh already looking forward your next visit

went in with family got served very quickly and the person serving was very polite food was ready very quickly and tasted lovely the restaurant was very clean amd welcoming.

This was as quick visit for just 1 item, staff were friendly and polite and food was quick but again it was only one item.

Nothing available and the burgers should come with a choking hazard due to how dry they were. Dissapointing.

With the being a new location, we decided to try it out. I was very happy with the food and service. Stephanie, who I believe is the store manager, was very pleasant and genuinely lovely. The store was quite busy however the staff were efficient and quick still!

Second time going and got wrong items again, when I received the correct burger got in the car and it was stone cold. Not going again. Service was poor too and drinks machine gives weird taste.

Food was disappointing. Chips were really salty,I’ve never had chips as salty as these ones and burger was bit tasteless. Staff were polite but but standing around chatting and looking on their phones. Tables hadn’t been cleaned properly.

When in after 6 on a weekday. Quick service and great deals if you have the Burger King app 😀

I ordered the new peppercorn Angus staekhouse and paid extra for large drink and frys but when it come I got the large drink with regular frys and the burger looked nothing like the picture the peppercorn sauce left a horrible taste in my mouth and the burger was very greasy now I know whay there wasn't meny people in there

I want to like the store! The male serving staff have been polite and efficient. For some reason the two female staff members I've seen, one was behaving quite aggressively in the store towards her colleague and looked at me like I had commited a sin rather than just walked into the business they work in. Another appeared to completely blank me despite waiting patiently at the till. However outside of the staffs control is head office infrastructure. When we visited the ordering machines don't take your app details. So we went to the desk. "Sorry the loyalty card/app isn't working" (again). And the card reader wasn't working so only cash could be taken. Staff member did his best. Next onto the drinks machine. One broken. The other had a choice of about 3 drinks from a total selection of about 18 flavours that was left. Overall the whole burger king business just comes across as shabby and second rate sadly. The issues above are not new and have been repeated in other venues I have visited too, months apart sometimes. What a shame.

Plant based order however given meat option by mistake only then to be told well it’ll take x amount of minutes to get it ready implying just to keep what given or have to wait.

I have noticed that " No Gloves On, and they handed my food to other customer.

Visited while waiting for car to be MOT'd across the road Poorly designed store creates a poor atmosphere. I think I had more salt on the pre salted fries than I allow myself all week. Bbq double melt burger tasted like the cleaners cupboard smells. A truly disappointing visit. Hope is now my car has past MOT ......

Drive in was excellent. No plant based whoppers in the mall. Everything was very fresh, premises very clean.... toilets spotless!

I saw this new BK that's newly opened on my way home and thought of giving a try. Since the store was new, I thought I will try something I haven't tried before. There was this friendly staff member who helped me with the options available to order and customize my order according to my preferences. I got my order faster than I expected and the food was fresh and tasty. This place deserves a thumbs up. 👍

Go elsewhere; it's typically full of just eat/deliveroo drivers waiting for their orders with the staff ignoring actual customers; then the food... It is the worst Burger King I've ever had.

Cold dry burgers. Swapped for more cold dry burgers. Dirty tables.

Staff mostly carrying on then serve customers ordered a 3 BBQ melts meat was dry and chips were over salted and rock hard. Won't be back here soon. Staff seem to only care for themselves then their costumers

First visit here and looks brand new. Shame it didn't have a drive through considering the outside location but went in to get the food. Surprisingly the first time in ages at a burger king to get both a hot burger and hot fries ! Friendly staff too, think they were new so see how long that lasts

Not a good branch. So sad for being such a new place that self service wasn't working, soft drink machine not working. Service incredibly poor. Staff stand around instead of dealing with orders 15 minute wait for order oh and was only a very small handful of people in.
