Burger King in Central Bedfordshire

Ordered the chicken royal Memphis, it was tiny! Like £1.99 saver menu small so asked to swap for the Memphis bbq double which is £1 more expensive, the server told me it was £3 extra so I double checked on their menu and I was correct so had to tell him I’m only paying £1 extra, he then went to check if that was ok with the manager! He also gave me a vanilla milkshake instead of strawberry so swapped for me then I realised when I got back to my truck that it was still vanilla 😂 don’t know if anything had been done to my burger but the bottom bun was soaking, still ate it though, hopefully I haven’t got aids now, honestly don’t bother, worst BK in the country and I’ve been to most

Dirty, extremely slow service, lukewarm overpriced food. Worst BK I’ve ever been to.

I ordered my xl bacon double cheese burger with an extra patty and extra cheese, as a large meal with a strawberry shake, what I actual got was a normal xl burger with no extra patty or cheese and a vanilla milkshake not strawberry, when I realised I was 10 mins down the M1, I tried to call and complain, but the phone number said the mail box was full which meant I couldn't, I then sent a message to the "Contact Us" on the website, unfortunately to date, no answer from them, the original order was placed on the 1st of March, these companies are making it so hard to complain when something is wrong, and also you cant call them easily.

Don’t feel like to give 1 star also I am gonna file a complaint about this Burger King The burger bun is stale and had fungus developed on it. I had to throw it, it could have cause extremely serious health issues. Do something about it! Worst experience ever.

Great service from the staff especially the gentleman that served me on then till, Food came quickly and was still so fresh and tasted good when it was ready. Before leaving I was made sure all my needs were met before departing. Overall would most definitely recommend.

Burgers were mashed and be try tiny for what we paid. No value for money. The fries however were perfect. Shame the double bacon cheeseburger was smaller than anticipated for the price.

Burger king is one of my favourite burger place. The Toddington Southbound branch is exceptional. All the employees of this brach are really good. I always like to come here

The screen ordering thing is very difficult to use. I thought it might just be me, but then saw several other people struggling and eventually giving up in case. The chips were cold and old, When I returned them, they were replaced without apology. The burger was okay

Had the breakfast king burger. It was £7 something, ridiculous for such a tiny burger. I understand it was at a services, but even so. It tasted nice, but just nice. Would rather have had a McDonald's breakfast for half the price, a lot tastier. The staff took their sweet time, even though there was no one else waiting. They were just chatting away, oblivious, seemed to be having a social convention.

I waited a long time for someone to take the order.... Finally, I gave up.... The staff was not at all interested in the fact that someone was waiting at the cash register....

Great food much better than rivals

Order was delivered with in good time however it was missing fries that should have been included with the meal. The burger was also squashed, chicken not crispy either.

decent fast service but that is probably because all the food is pretty cooked but at least put the burgers back on the grill to warm them up the inevitable I just had wasn't even warm enough to melt the cheese slice

Restaurant is filthy. Rubbish on tables, food on floor, none of the tables have been wiped. Only two members of staff working- one cooking and one serving.

25th October about 6.30pm. It was late but the staff member serving clearly didn't care at all. Soft drinks were warm and when we returned them we got nothing but attitude and an initial refusal to do anything about it. He was on his own so I know how hard it is but a simple "sorry, we'll get more ice in the machine" would've done.

Whats the reason for asking eat in or take out if always comes in a bag! Probably the staff doesn’t like to waste trays! Shame! You could save lots of paper and trees

The manager on shift Alisha was wiping the sweat from her face and then handling food with no gloves,i had to ask her to stop and tell her what she had done in front of me,this must happen alot as there was no second thought before doing it and no apology,poor hygiene practice here so i would seriously consider if you want to consume anything from a very grubby looking burger king,refunded at my request

The delivery driver was a very amazing , but the food wasn’t my burger was like eating rubber and water infused in a bun. I normally get Burger King all the time but today I was very disappointed.the chips and drink where perfect though it was just the burger:)

slow service, and burgers arrived stone cold, despite the fries being warm?! they must of had the burgers sitting around for quite sometime. the fries although seasoned for once we're on the verge of too much salt that it's not palatable. For nearly £30 I'd expect A LOT better service and quality.

Take it food for a long time from this branch here but today was horrible food not any vegetables in the burgers sauce only from top side not any sauce on bottom of burger. Mistake I was not checked on space there but drive off

Way faster than McDonald and cleaner! Great staff that very rarely mess with your order like McDonald do, there is not 1 single time they get your order complete…food was excellent! I love todington because on the motorway are faster then the normal burger kings and food is not cold!

I waited an hour or 2 more than said expected time said on the app then I checked food said arrived checked outside no food there and made sure I could hear the delivery person so I didn’t hear him me and my partner didn’t eat last night because of this and I expect some actions to be made

SLOW!! I think this is typical of burger king where they prepare each order individually so if there are 10 people waiting, good luck. Ordered from the self service machine, and then waited 25 minutes for my food when there were only 3 other people in the restaurant. Supposed to be a convenience stop and fast food, if you had a big order I reckon you'd have to pay for parking in the car park. The food was typical of burger king, expensive for what it is, but does come out at a decent temperature. Asking for sauces is like you're asking for their first born.

Jaspreet is Welcoming, good service and loving.

Closes at 11pm but dony expect anything after 10pm as chairs are already stacked up and the kitchen is broken down because the staff want an early finish.

The food was fresh and tasty. Service was quick and the staff polite. The tables and general dining area were clean. I highly recommend this branch and I 'll visit again

Burger King French fries and halloumi is fantastic. I had the cheddar cheese and smoked tomato sandwich - HOT - delicious! I lso had Kentucky fried chicken and a wrap - it was very fresh. For the first time, I actually enjoyed my diet Pepsi WITHOUT ICE.

Quite friendly service and I really enjoyed the Halloumi Jam meal. The service is quick, no delay.

I will not normally give service review but this occasion is different, the service we received was absolutely fantastic. We loved the food also. We think this branch has made up for all our past experiences in fast food service.

I do not recommend it, 10 minutes before closing time I was asked to leave by the cleaning lady even though the food was still visible near the counter, and there was a very unpleasant smell in the place, I would not recommend it again

I find their small burgers with fries offer. It's child size but perfect for me. The best thing about it. It tastes very very good, better than the rest. It's worth trying and only £2.99 with fries. Unfortunately, they don't sell it in the Motorways branches.

The worst!!! I was the only person queuing to be served and could see staff talking and looking at me but would not come to the till for good 5-10 mins. I ordered a simple whopper meal with milkshake and ice-cream and somehow they got my drink wrong. Not only that but after getting my meal, the milkshake had not flavour whatsoever, and the ice cream tasted off. Avoid if you can.

I would class my recent experience of Burger King at Toddington Services as okay and nothing special. The burger was not cooked brilliantly and not as good as other Burger Kings I have visited in the past. The food in my option was also very expensive for what was received. Being honest I don’t think I would go back to this particular Burger King if I was back at Toddington Services in the future. I would try one of the other restaurants at the services and give them a try instead. In general I am a fan of Burger King but this particular branch was underwhelming.

Had one meal and it cost me £19. It wasn't well put together and even though the drink is included in the so called "meal" it costs an extra £1

In no world should you be waiting over 25 minuets for a Burger King meal! This was utterly outrageous. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to the number system. Only cooked out food after we complained having already waited just under 20 mins! Go to the KFC everyone there was in and out in under 5 mins. Utterly outrageous

Wish I had read the reviews before buying. Price is off the roof, food is dry, pay extra for mayo, and no cold drinks only water and milkshakes. It looks like they are closing down the business. 👎👎👎 P.s. had to put a star as you cant get lower than that, not that they deserve the star... I am too embarrassed to return the food.

Not what I call 'fast food'. One member of staff serving food on a Saturday lunchtime, meant a very long wait for our food. I don't think we'll use BK here again. I'll probably get a meal deal or go elsewhere.

I mean listen I don’t expect world class service at Burger King, but this branch in particular was literally terrible. Let’s start with the staff, it was like watching a group of circus clowns running around in circles and that was the whole issue! No one seemed to know what was going on and the person serving at the till looked like he absolutely hated serving people and, constantly making facial expressions that said “I hate my job and I hate the public” … This is not who you want front of house!! Then there was the team at the back making the food, they had an obvious disconnect with the front of house team because no one knew what order was coming out and if it was right or not??? Surely the big shiny screen with all of our orders electronically displayed would have been a good place to start? Right??? Nope!! Wrong, they decided to shout at each other to try and work out what would be or should be coming out next? Basically all these comedy led to our order taking 25 minutes ( maybe more) to come out….it wasn’t even that busy, but they just couldn’t seem to work it out… I won’t be back and would rather drive to the next services which by the way isn’t that far!! I’d hate to see what happens at this Burger King when it’s very busy as service stations generally are …That would be interesting to say the least lol

Waited over 25 min for food :( not great with a hungry toddler 😞 also v expensive 😔 backlog of over 18 orders on screen and maybe 4 staff... Also got order wrong...

Dirty tables. Food order took half an hour to arrive, hardly fast food.. Only one staff member serving this was a bank holiday so maybe more staff should have been on, the manageress was on the phone trying to sort out more lids for the drink cups. Server was miserable and unfriendly.

Waited 20 minutes for an order only to ask at the counter of the order had been called to find there was no record on the system and then be offered an unclaimed bag with the wrong order in …. Which I refused as it wasn’t what we had ordered, paid for and waited for. Almost seemed an inconvenience …. So I asked for a refund. Wasted 25 minutes of my time and ended up at m and s - finally real food what possessed us to enter this place I am unsure but you certainly made sure it was my last visit

Waited 10 minutes to order while being the only person waiting infront of the tills The blonde lady was busy "stacking cups" and noticed me a few times before I had to ask "can I be served?" Felt like walking away but questioning whether I want to stop at this service again. Poor service

They display a notice saying they do not "accept offers from the BK app" which is clear but they then also fail to honour any reward claims either, claiming no understanding of the difference. Staff attitude awful, the manager couldn't care less.

Went here on the way to Leicester and all the screens (that I could see) were busy, an ample came out of the back and was about to change the bin, I asked if we were able to part at the counter and he really nicely said yeah, and I expected to wait but he stopped what he was doing and served me! I paid walked back to wait and realised there were two more screens that I just hadn’t seen being a pillar. For him to not just direct me to those and serve me was really nice, usually people aren’t willing to go out of their way anymore, but he was polite and professional and a credit to the store! His name was Ayan (that’s all it said on his badge)!

Supposed to close at 11pm. We’ve been on the road for 4 hours. Arrived at the services at 22:45 but they had already stopped serving. Should stay open until your opening time Burger King and staff stop being so lazy.

Superb, this old BK has been sat up the high street for as long as I can remember, 30+ years , I came here before seeing lion king at the cinema as a child whenever that was and maybe even "The Mask" Roll on 20+ years and it's the same great BK it's always been , it's had a few refurbs over the years remember when BK adopted "I'm loving it" and "have it your way" slogan, that's been and gone this place has stayed current with the ever changing BK outfits, anyways never the less , the service is just as okay as its always been and the food is just as great as always retaining that BK signature flavour. Come here for a true Burger King experience.

Went there to get some burgers. Service was a bit slow. Considering it's a Motorway service station, should be a bit faster for a stop and go area. Food was OK. Staff were good and helpful.

Been waiting 20 minutes since ordering and no sign of the food. The atmosphere is angry customers frustrated with the wait and wanting to get back on the road.
