Burger King in Stroud

This was the worst Burger King I have been to, the service was slow and the food was cold. They can’t even used the excuse they were busy, as it wasn’t. Very poor

We stopped at the services and were shocked when the shift manager was telling an employee off for trying to help customers after he had demanded no orders be taken. This young man was just doing his best and providing customer service which he should not be yelled at in front of everyone for! The shift manager should review how he treats his employees and customers!

Would not have again The waiting time of service took far to long compared to any other take out service.once we eventually got our order we had to go back for 3 missing pieces of our order we then realised that lots of our dips were missing.Also whilst we were waiting in line we noticed 3 other people come up to the counter to complain.i would not waste my money here again.

Absolutely shocking service and overcooked burnt food. The whole half hour of our allocated time here, was used waiting for our order. We only noticed once back on our coach, so couldn't even take it back...a complete waste of more than £12 for an inedible meal. If I could have given zero stars I would have!

Wouldn't trust the staff from here to take my dog for a walk. On arrival three young male burger king workers were playing rap music and didn't see the line of people waiting to order. To busy having a laugh and dancing around the rear of the store. The burgers came and were about as dry as a sock and the drinks were warm. Avoid.

Really slow, not all the menu available, burgers were dry

Had a vegan whopper meal and it was massive, really nice and came quite fast. Good enough to be dinner, with the onion rings, chips and drink.

Bread was crumbling because it was that old. We'll make sandwiches next time

Fast food? More like slow food. Thirty/fourty odd people waiting and one poor guy packing and giving out the orders. Multiple staff milling about around the back office. Including the manager sat doing something. During lunchtime rush.

Absolutely shocking place....should be closed....staff are rude ...I am still waiting for my food which I ordered 25 min ago

Order at counter from ”Finn”, paid with my debit card, had to sign, and then Finn said I had to pay in cash also, transaction had not gone through. Showed him that my bank app had indeed debited my account with the anount from BK. Finn refused to proceed without a second payment in cash. Did not carry any cash on me, I had to ask him to cancel transaction and give me signed slip. Went to ”the Good Breakfast” and everything went well , paid and got my food, Avoid BK and avoid unresonsble mr Finn

Soooooo expensive for what you get which is barely anything at all was more like a anack

It was alright for a Burger King don't upgrade to the loaded fries there a scam, get 7 fries in a box, plus bacon, looked off, binned them.

We visited this burger king on the 24th of march and were greeted at the till by 'Mark' he was a very respectful gentlemen who was very knowledgeable about the menu and very polite. We will definitively be returning because of this amazing experience.

Cold burgers, stale rolls, and a person serving with a face that says she does not want to be here.

I literally don't know how they can make standard BK food taste so foul. BK veggie offerings are pretty reasonable for a fast food chain, but here they literally made me want to physically vomit. Something tasted really bad, either the oil never gets changed or they fried it in with the beef burgers, but it was unparalleled in how stale and dirty it felt. Impressively awful. UPDATE: Just read the other reviews, and it may be starting to make sense... I've not eaten meat for 37 years, so I literally don't know what beef tastes like.. I'm wondering if they served me a beef patty in veggie wrapping (BK veggie burgers look and I think taste like beef... so I'd not have known without my wife to taste test it for me). It would explain why it tasted different and made me feel sick. @BurgerKing, care to comment? Apparently the staff employed here have a track record.

Come in at 20.35 and was refused food on the northbound side. Pretty disgusted as kfc had shut to even subway .after doing 15 hours work wanting a hot meal thought was very poor not even the garage would not take the food voucher

Staff is moving extremely slow, looks like they can’t be bothered to work here. Don’t blame them, cuz I know what it’s like to work in hospitality, but is there no manager on shift?!

Wifey & I stopped here for a toilet break & a bit to eat. Wifey prefers BK and I was happy to pay the motorway “premium “. The service is soooooo slow ! Half the kiosks did t work and it took nearly 15 minutes for my order to come out. Wife’s cheesy bacon fries barely covered the bottom of the box. The crispy chicken tasted burnt but all were hot at least. As per the previous review this site is woefully understaffed with just two people on during the lunch time rush.

Shockingly poor burgers, had better when arriving late to a BBQ, the patties were dry and charred around the edges, buns stale, Coke Zero was badly mixed, generally garbage food. Would have returned the food but the outlet was ridiculously understaffed. When contacting their head office the recommendation was to return to the branch with the receipt for a refund. Now, this branch is a motorway service station, generally used by people travelling one way on the M5. Not going to travel 2 and a half hours there, 140+ miles and then the return journey for a refund. Waste of time and money, would avoid and head further along to a McDonald's

Awful, service ridiculously slow and food not great, only drinks available we're Capri sun or come. Manky old lettuce in my burger. Staff weren't overly happy looking either

Horrible! Ordered a veggie burger and given a meat one! Luckily I didn't eat it but sadly only noticed once I went to open it in Devon! I can only get a refund if I travel 2 hours and 45 min back there! Disgusting. And the staff think this is funny? Either close the place down or sort yourselves out. Never eating at burger king EVER again.

I expect to pay a bit more at a service station but over 3x the normal price for a cheeseburger is taking the biscuit.

Nice and tasty food hot as well

I don't see the problem with this BK. Everything is always cooked fresh and the wait isn't that long (5-10mins). Food is always tasty, staff are always fine, food always hot....fries are fresh. Eaten here multiple times over months and it's always consistently good.

Says open until 2200. Arrived 2105 and it's closed, staff already changed with most of cleaning done. Staff vague about closing times and not interested.

Avoid this place if you come to Micheal wood services. Costs more than normal but food is terrible, slow service but not busy, double whoppper was tasteless and poor to look at- I know the photos on display are deceiving but this was bad. Kids cheese burger not good too. Very disappointed, at least McDonald’s tend to be the same everywhere. So McDonald’s services next time.

Staff in the back where they prepare the food weren’t wearing masks and / or gloves. There was only one person in the front that takes the food and gives you the order that was wearing a mask. I left without ordering anything.

Really good place, the staff are all very hard working, quick and polite, the food is cooked to perfection, particularly good fries. Would highly recommend it, especially if you're served by Joseph, he's an absolute star 😁

The burger bap was dry, I think it was not fresh. Unfortunately I had no time to go back to complain...

Turned up at 21.25 and turned away as "we are closed" yet advertised open till 22.00. Wish I worked for trading standards as a great case of misadvertising. Wont be using burger king ever again.. Macdonald's lot cheaper too

Poor service, get ignored by staff wait ages to order and they rarely get your order right. After ordering Aberdeen Angus burger and being server a normal burger. Terrible and damaging to the burger King brand sort it out

Was refused service by the woman behind the counter as i didnt want to order via the computers; mainly as you cant order “plain” burgers via them. No idea what was going on with them both but they were refusing to man the till. Really poor effort, not like they were even busy!

The worsted, its put me off eating at burgers King for good the second meal I've had there in month and it's been nasty, cold and looks terrible and staff were very unhelpful food tasted of nothing, sort it out across the the board burger King, you used to be nice place to get a good burger

At first the order was wrong staff unfriendly then in the minute i waited for the right burger it was burnt terrible shocking we love burger king as a whole if this was my first experience it would be my last

Great food n friendly customer service

Vile place. I ordered a veggie burger and was served a chicken one. I started eating it and I now feel ill. I'm absolutely disgusted. I dont eat meat or poultry for health reasons and it's wrong and illegal to serve someone that is they did not order it. I'm so angry.

Don't accept BK app vouchers! :(

Honestly, just got served by two of the most dopey women in Britain who think checking their phones is more important than taking my order. Dont really think they should be allowed to be near customers with the way they acted. Think they should stick to their lonely social media lives they were updating instead.

On motorway services. Service was slow, only one lady on till. Good was cold, nuggets were dry and tasteless. Had burger king last Saturday in Milton Keynes and it was amazing. Fab service and pipping hot x

Michaelwood Service Station not so long ago had a good cafeteria As well as Burger King, Starbucks and maybe KFC …now it's Only got BK, Starb and KFC …and I won't be stopping here again …very sad …
