Food good, only let down was cleanliness and the fact that it’s card payments only. Also you have to pay for mayo?!? Service was good- staff friendly

Not going to lie - last used this particular BK, in Drakes circus, just after the first Covid lockdown release. That's the one where the Gov "allowed" the great unwashed to mingle (provided they wear face-nappies and acted like everything had leprosy). It was chaos, young lads inside the mall kiosk were milling around doing nothing. They were not even set up properly 30 minutes into the lunch hour. Despite queues building up around the shops, they were in no hurry to amend the situation. We decided to skip lunch that day, gave up along with droves fed up with wasting their lunch hour. This was before they had order screens installed. The team present on Saturday 4th of November were absolutely superb though. In fact, I have not seen that level of diligence in a packed restaurant since my own hospitality days. Everyone working there was conscientious and meant business, from the young girls manning tills and taking orders to the lads in the background cooking everything. The queue for the order screens was clearing really quickly, everything looked well oiled without a hitch – for minimum wage employment, that's pretty rare. Our flame grilled whoppers were delicious, that unmistakable smokey taste which hits your palate is more than welcome. Salad and garnish inside the burger were fresh, all properly prepared - someone obviously knew how to actually use a knife. There was the correct measure of everything, best of all, it was all piping hot on a grim day. The pate was thick and succulent. The fries were perfect, long stalks of potato with a light crispy skin, fluffy interior. Much better fries than other fast food establishment by far. My only criticism of these would be the portion sizes. We ordered large, the bag sizes were easily less than medium. In no universe could they be considered large. Ordered water for my drink - could have done with more menu choices, pulp free orange juice would have been good. I think there were only 3 drinks on the entire menu, excluding hot beverages(?) Only one was sugar free. Serve time was within 6 minutes, which given the lunchtime queue, was really impressive. It's sad that this shift team will eventually dissipate, go off to college or uni ect because hands down this was the best order I've received in years. A part from the portion sizes, much better than the other competitors - flawless. Manager needs to congratulate all staff involved, it was a busy Saturday. No crampy stomach afterwards, or pooey sulphuric smells emanating from the BK bag, two happy campers. How many fast food meals can you say that about, these days? I just wish there were more BK's in my location, that we have to trek all the way to Plymouth for our nearest burger fix.

I like Burger King occasionally as a treat and when I came here last year it was awful so dirty, sandwiches were thrown together and somehow being dead chips were cold. But really surprised as came back kinda second guessing my decision and it was probably the cleanest and tastiest Burger King I’ve had.

I have to admit I wasn't a fan already due to a cold cold tasteless Burger King meal I'd had a few years before down the bottom end of town but as the girlfriend & her kid were about, I thought I'd join them for lunch. My god, I wish I hadn't! All I wanted was a small bacon cheeseburger and when I opened mine up it was 1) freezing cold, 2) the bacon undercooked as well as 3) the cheese un melted. I took mine back only to be told rudely " I can assure you this is fit for consumption" I said "well you eat it then, I want a hot cooked one please" I waited like a naughty school child for 5 minutes wondering how hot my new super-duper bacon cheese burger would be and dreamed of melted cheese and a burnt mouth etc but that is all it was. A dream. My new improved cheese burger still had what looked like raw bacon, still un melted cheese and sadly, still freezing cold burger in miserable roll. I wish I took photos or better still, brought a food probe with me! The customer used to be right. I don't expect lip from someone who is old enough to be my grand daughter arguing the toss that my cheese burger is okay to eat. I didn't ask for a cold meal and if I wanted such a meal, I'd take it home with me and leave it in the fridge overnight! I didn't ask to be poisoned by raw bacon either and I certainly didn't ask to be patronised by some jumped up child dressed by as a customer service assistant! I am 58 years old. I know hot from cold and cooked from uncooked and don't expect grief when I complain. 0 out of 5. Absolutely shocking. Any more of those meals and I will throw myself off the top of the mall!

Visited them around 10:30am on Sunday when they were quiet.Waited to give our order whilst a young man stood at his terminal pressing buttons and seemingly oblivious that we were waiting to order. After around a minute,a female staff member went to sign onto the terminal next to him and then started a conversation with him and started pressing some buttons on his terminal. In all this time neither had looked at us to acknowledge we were there or apologised for not serving us.After standing and waiting for a few minutes we asked if they were intending to serve us and that it was disgraceful that they hadn’t even spoken to us whilst it was obvious we were waiting to order. This resulted in them just staring at us without saying a word or even offering to take our order.Another woman (a Manager?) was standing by whilst we were complaining but also didn’t seem to think that it was necessary to intervene and get anyone to serve us. At that point we left after just being met by silence and an apparent inability of any of the staff to make a decision to serve us. I would say this was some of the worst service I have ever received, but to say that would mean that some service was provided, but unfortunately in this case was nonexistent.

went here today with family. Managed to get a table. we had to wipe it down ourselves and the chairs as there was no one around to do it. a young girl came out 10mins later , but just wiped tables, and the dirt on the tables went on the floor. she didnt bother to sweep the floor where people had been and dropped chips etc on the floor. MacDonald's at least have people going round regularly. not so here. food was nice just the housekeeping could be much improved.

It is just a Burger King, so no surprises or delights but, it’s position on the top level of Plymouth’s smallish indoor shopping complex, completely open to the escalators and concourses, makes it a bit more airy and relaxed than most of its sister franchises. In our very limited experience we have found the service quick and the eating area clean.

Over 2 hours for delivery of 4 dishes. I could have walked the 2 miles there, ordered it and walked back in half the time. Poor. Update. Delivered wrong main dish, offered a free dish next time, which we refused. They did deliver the correct item 25 minutes later which made it close to 3 hours before my wife was able to eat. Shame because the food was good, however I won’t use again.

The best takeaway we’ve ever had. It’s now our takeaway of choice. The sag aloo is sublime. Bengal curry is fantastic. Really happy service too. Think they are great
