Burger King in Central Bedfordshire

These service stations on the motorways are a rip off. Having no choice, came to the conclusion beggars cannot be choosers. Very pricey for what you get, you even have to beg for some tom sauce etc.

Very very very slow service. Burgers were cold. Won’t go here again. Had to heat up the burgers in the microwave next to Costa

At this Burgerking, the service is really slow, mostly down to the fact, there was only one guy serving. The burgers were good, alas the fries were not, and the coffee was not very good.

Absolutely terrible and rude service on the evening 09/12/23. 4 orders ahead of me in the queue and it still took over 20 minutes to receive the food and it was only 2 meals, however after realising the 2 servers were watching something on the phone whilst serving it made more sense why it took so long. Out of the 4 orders ahead I saw 3 people return, wasn’t sure why at the time but now I do. When we got back to the car my large Fanta was only half filled, 1 bag of chips were missing and the Smokey Chicken legend was not “crispy” but instead soggy and cold.

I ordered on the screen at 12:29. The place was fairly busy (maybe 10 orders showing ahead of mine) but not crazy busy. I waited 25 minutes for my food. In the end I had to go and query the delay as others who had arrived after me were consistently being served ahead of me. (I did not order anything complicated and could see identical burgers being given to later customers). No apology just ‘we must still be waiting for something’ without checking. I then heard the staff member correcting 2 seemingly new staff for just doing the newest order each time, rather than the oldest. This was meant to be a quick lunch on a long journey but it made it take so much longer. I will not go back there.

This place only received 1 star because there is no option to leave zero stars. Food luke warm. Plant-based burger was missing the lettuce, tomatoes and gherkins advertised. Should have taken it back but would have waited another age for replacement. Honestly, it takes real skill to make anything this bad!!! Maybe they earned the 1 star for that!!!! What can I say? Avoid this place at all costs. It’s terrible, terrible, terrible … and then some!

Unfortunately been here three times this year after difficult journeys and always been disappointed. I won't be going again. Last night , there were not enough staff and waited a very long time. The restaurant was dirty and bins overflowing. Really concerned about whether the food would be OK. Staff looked bored and did not interact.

Somehow managed to fail to meet very low expectations. Burger and chips both luke warm at best despite the absurd price and waiting for what we assumed was for the food to be cooked Staff looked disinterested and bored. Flat and lifeless with naff food. Don't bother.

We called at this service early evening 28th Feb . We ordered on the machine and my wife looked to find a table . Unfortunately there was not one table in the place that was not filthy and looked like it hadn’t been wiped let alone disinfected that whole day so we ate in the car . We were disappointed as we normally prefer Burger King over other outlets but both hygiene and food quality were below standard at this outlet £22 for two burger meals and to find these conditions unacceptable and we won’t visit again . After a long day I called into these services and ordered my dinner from Burger King . Unfortunately probably the worst Burger King I have ever experience The bun tasted stale , the chicken royal and onion rings tasted of dirty fryer oil I won’t be returning

Wouldn’t advise stopping here as it was ridiculously slow despite not being overly busy. The restaurant tables and floors were dirty.

Absolute filth. Chairs slide around in grease, rubbish and food cover most of the floor, tables all greased up with ketchup. Would rather eat in the services toilet cubicle. Zero stars but had to choose one.

The men working there today are so nice, best service, they got my complicated order spot on. This is the first time, I have ever had our 100% correct. They were very nice, I would recommend this Burger King, we will definitely be visiting again. Any other Burger King I have been in, they have never got our order correct, not once. Stopped here after being stuck on the m25 for hours and the children were hungry. The restaurant was absolutely filthy, so bad we went and sat in the car to eat. The bins were over flowing, the floor, tables and even the windows sills were full of litter. The tables were so dirty I don’t know when they were last cleaned. Fully expecting to get food poisoning as if this is how the leave the restaurant where customers can see the mess what is the kitchen that customers can’t see like. There was no one tidying up of cleaning. I am aware that the mess wasn’t caused by the staff but lazy bone idle customers who can’t tidy up after themselves. But it was absolutely grim.

Yesterday evening I visited BK at the toddington services going north. The person who served me was really nice and helpful and deserves recognition from BK for doing an exemplary job I only wish I got his name to put on this post

Seems that the staff and manager rather go out and check on people’s cars and children and get their parents reported rather than do their work that they paid for. And the branch is left unmanaged. What a nuisance.
