Burger King in Newcastle upon Tyne

will visit again, food was hot and served quick, staff where very friendly and helpfull,even though it was busy was clean and my children loved the atmosphere

Couldn’t even sit in the place and eventually had to eat in McDonald’s it’s a disgrace! The food was really nice though but I couldn’t even use the refill drink machine with the cup I paid for. Just got given a bottle which I obviously can’t refill. Waste of money buying a drink

Gross and filthy. Avoid this place. It was not a busy day and the place was empty yet rubbish was piled up everywhere. No clean tables and the staff member spent the entire time I was there on his mobile phone. I intended to get lunch but had to stick to drink only as it was so gross in there.

My husband popped into Northumberland street Burger King for 2 whopper meals one he specifically asked for only onions on as I am dairy free , once he got home within a journey of 7 mins he opened the bag to find 2 identical whoppers both with salad and thick mayo , The top of the bun crumbled when he lifted it off to check the contents and chips were stone cold needless to say we won’t be going back , the receipt did have on one burger onions only so I suggest you employ people who can read or retrain staff as I would have been very ill if not checked contents

Absolutely shocking customer service!..asked where the toilets were to be rudely spoke too by staff member stating "for customer only" when I said I was a customer she asked what table I was sat at!,...my partner was waiting for order in the queue so didn't have 1 , so she asked if we had been served! ...then had to wait for someone to open the toilet door as locked with key!..actually thought about peeing on the floor infront of them! ..the burger was dry as sticks and freezing cold!!.....Best thing about the place was leaving!

2.30 for a cup of PG!!! Across the road at Gregg's 1.19. I could buy a Costa coffee at Dainsburys for that. RIP OFF!

All the reviews seem to be negative… but this Burger King is situated on Northumberland Street, considering how busy it gets I always seem to wait less than 5 minutes. Last time I went to McDonalds I waited 15 minutes for a meal. Food is always made to order (I like to add/remove stuff due to allergies) and staff always seem to handle my allergies perfectly with no drama or error. Deffo recommend the Bacon Double Cheese XL meal or the Double Whopper Cheese with added crispy friend onions - the crunch makes it extra special!

Still the King of the lower budget burger chains IMHO! I see there’s still nothing but negative TripAdvisor reviews aimed at this particular Burger King on Northumberland Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, so here’s a more positive one. I last reviewed it back in 2019, but as far as I’m concerned I think the criticism is harsh as I’ve always received decent customer service here and they’re relatively quick at getting your ‘fast food’ to you quickly. On this particular visit I opted for a couple of Bacon Double Cheese XL’s (Rather than the usual choice of a couple of Whoppers) large fries and a large drink. Service was pleasant, food arrived pretty promptly and was hot. I opted to stay and ate inside, restaurant interior was clean and tidy enough. It does unfortunately lose a point for the self-service drinks machine playing up though. Burger King, it is, what it is folks!

The staff here had really poor communication skill especially the blonde middle aged one on the till she was rude as well as raising her voice at me because I asked for some my tomato sauce how ever the cleaner was lovely

Racist staff I had noticed at the location. I never suggest anyone to visit Burger King for recruiting this kind of staff

Nothing like a good old Burger King once in a while and I still think they are the best and value for money from the main budget burger ‘chain’ bunch. Burger King Northumberland Street is a better example of Burger King, decent service and relatively quick at getting your ‘fast food’ to you fast. Happy to recommend especially if you’re a fan of a good old Whopper like myself. Don’t forget to download the Burger King app get their discounted goodies.

The entrance had a bunch of people who were either drunk or on spice falling about. So that was a bit un-nerving as one was passed out in a heap and the other people were just kind of bumping into you as you were trying to enter. Then upon entry the staff seemed pushy and didn't really give you time to check the menu. Food was okay, though. 5/10

Decent place for a quick bite to eat. Service was a little slow and could have been a bit cleaner but burger and chips were decent enough. Nothing too special, as good as any other Burger King really. Not much to say, sorry!

Standing in line to order our food, the lady before us was in a wheelchair and obviously severely disabled. The girl serving her couldn't hide her hatred or disgust. She belittled the lady, treated her like an idiot and raised her voic. The tills are now separated into cash only or card only till. Tills are in banks of 2 till together with serving space betweeen. This particular till group had 1 cash and 1 card till together with the server standing in the middle - no indication which till she was using. The lady in from of us was in a wheelchair and clealry severely disabled. The girl serving her couldn't hide her hatred or disgust. Firstly she asked the customer how she was paying when she was holding up a debit card, then she raised her voice to say this is a cash only till, you need to pay cash. When the lady tried to order food, the server said well u usually have to ask for that! - Yes, she just has asked for it!. The server continued to treat the customer with open disgust and humiliated her for a couple of minutes. When the lady asked where the disabled toilets were, she was told they re round the corner but you will have to get yourself there. By now I was raging. I offered to take the lady to the toilet door then asked to see the manager. I was told by other staff there had been lots of complaints about this girl-yeah, then why is she still working with the public? I voiced my anger and disgust at the customers' treatment and suggested that the employee should be made to apologise in public to the customer the same way she had berated her in public. I also suggested the manager refund the customers meal money fully. I should not have had to make this suggestion as he should have already had that in hand. We had our meals in silent rage. When I went to the loo, the doors are locked with coded door locks. You need a toilet code off your receipt to use the loo!!!??? What a disgrace. To add insult, when I used the toilet code it didn't work. I was told they don't always work, so an employee let me in. Toilets are essential for every human being. If someone needed the loo urgently you should be embarrassed into having to ask to be let in when your toilet code doesn't work! All in all a disgraceful experience. Think I'll use McDonald's next time!

Well I asked for 2 chicken piece meal at £4.79 was a disgrace I got 2 piece that were just a little bit bigger than a nugget and as thick as a chip defo not value for money wish I had gone to mcds

Whole place needs a good clean and a revamp. Toilets were a disgrace - absolutely filthy and the smell was vile!

I've been in a few times. No more. It takes ages to get served, the staff appear disinterested and bored, the burgers are cold and tasteless. Not sure what's quite happened as Burger King used to be the go-to place for top quality burgers.

Visited this store with my friends and staff were quick at the tills to make the queues go down. When I got my order the staff member who served me didn't listen to what I said . I said I was sitting in but there put it in take away bag instead. The chips were cold instead of been warm the burger was cold it could made hotter. The staff member who was cleaning the upstairs should off changed the bin since it was starting to get overflowing. The toilets in this store should really have a good refit since there still the same.

Absolutely disgusting, burger cold, onion rings hard, toilets disgusting, floor messy and no table clean. Absolutely shocking, used to prefer Burger King to mcds, but been well and truly put off! At least mcds food is hot!!
