Burger King in Eden

I have used Burger King for at least 20 years and have never in my life seen a more disgusting place it was so dirty everything from the floors to the tables along with the bathrooms. Shocking even the cup of tea I had was lukewarm I asked to get some boiling water added and was told I would have to purchase another tea as the could not do refill's when I said it was cold was told policy is no refills and no duty manager was available

The only Burger King that I've been in that couldn't provide tomato ketchup. Very depressing restaurant. Seriously need to up their game.

Why would you choose to eat corrugated cardboard in a bap that falls apart with grease overflowing through your fingers. With brown stalks of 1 of your 5 a day poking through. Thanks but no thanks never again. Order by machine Pay by machine get your meal in a brown bag by number. Come in Number 6.... shows my age. Thanks to a young lady who worked her way around a thing to arrange the Order. MOG

It was so so so dirty it really was horrible. This was just a quick wipe of one of the tables. Staff were rude and no help with using the ordering machines

Popped in to get our son a Burger King. The 2 staff were stood outside and came in when we went inside. I couldn't believe how filthy the place was! Dirty tables and food all over the floor..chairs all over the place! Just total lack of care! They weren't busy so can't understand why they can't keep the place clean?? As we walked out a family came in, took one look at the place and walked back out! Toilets were out of order..probably a good thing looking at the previous reviews!!!

Just don't bother. Confirm other reviews that the restaurant and toilets were absolutely revolting. Filthy floors, dirty tables, no toilet paper. Really very very shocking. And it wasn't even busy so they didn't have that excuse. Doesn't look like it has been cleaned in days, let alone hours.

What a disgraceful state this place was! The floor was filthy and covered in dropped food. The tables were filthy. The toilets were disgusting and the whole place smelled of the dirty toilets. We were a big group, desperate after a long hike and needed to eat before journey home or would have left. The saving grace of the place was the one male staff member who was left on his own with his good nature and manners. He swiftly produced the regulation food. There was a female member of staff in uniform around but I don’t know what she was doing.

No atmosphere, unfriendly staff and filthy tables, floor and service counter. Makes you wonder how this restaurant has a 5 star hygiene rating. My experience is not unique looking at other reviews- we all can't be wrong.

Had a decent meal, usual Burger King food but the tables and floor were filthy. Doesn’t seem to be much staff. Should employ a cleaner.

Run out from center parcs for shopping so called at burger king for lunch....the meal was satisfactory but when we went to sit down realised the tables were unwiped and the floor not swept....the place was filthy....only 2 members working at burger king and 2 at Greg's but did not see any customer's visit Greg's when we were there about 13.00 to 13.40

No greeting. Perfunctory service. Meal was disappointing. Burger warm and sloppy. No straws available and nobody offered me condiments or serviettes anyway. Restaurant was fairly busy but nothing unusual for fast food. Burger King have really gone down hill in recent year compared to Maccies . A real shame

On a really busy day, the two lads on we’re rushed off their feet. Every customer was treated with respect before myself and after myself. Service was great and the food matches that! Excellent!

After a day out in Penrith I called in with my friend to grab a quick bite on the way home. Luckily I decided to visit the ladies before we got to order and got to see the Filthy loos first hand... the ladies and gents were both posted as out of order but the disabled was open. Shocking state of cleanliness, barely any loo roll and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly - ( if at all) for some time and the paint around the doors etc is all dirty and black from grubby fingers. Everywhere was sticky and tacky underfoot. Really nasty! Inside the eatery other things were signed as out of order but had been like that for weeks if not months according to my friend who had visited some time ago. With that it was a lucky escape and back to the car. What a grotty unkept place. The outside is scruffy and unkept aswell. I would rather go hungry than eat there and will never visit again. Someone needs to sort this place out as it not good enough!!!

We came to this place with my daughter at 8:40pm our order been ready in 5 minutes but when I tried to seat and eat I’ve been told that we can’t eat inside as floor been cleaned and they close soon… When I tried to say that since other people been eating inside I thought we can do the same unfortunately member of staff told me that this was last people tonight who been consuming their meal inside :) and just walked away when I asked him politely what time they finish I received answer 10pm :) another female member of staff gave me very dirty look so we just left.

Burger King Penrith Manned by the Cast from a Channel 4 Documentary 811528675 We'd had a lovely day. On our way back as a bit of a treat we stopped by "Burger King" in Penrith. Hosted by the cast from a channel four documentary, Ren and Stimpy have excelled here. Sever one dances to the trashy home playlist, she scratches her nose still gyrating, something is uttered to us from behind the perspex counter cover. In the real world, this is to stop germs from getting between us; I'd rather liken it to the stoppage of filth getting to me from behind a counter. Without any care, she once again scratches her nose whilst our drinks are prepared. Placing them on the counter. The back of the Burger warmer/burger preparation area has at least two clear bags with rubbish in it. The floor is littered with food debris and appears greasy. Server one takes our order, uninterested teenager one then skips to the side of the back area, she dances for her mate then departs to the back area where she thinks she's out of sight, flips her phone and starts to pay more interest in the mobile device in her hand than she shows the other customers and us before us. A stone face replaces server one, server number two, who shows no interest in presenting with a smile, more a scowl or even disdain for people in general. Before her time on the floor, our food was prepared by her in plain sight. With bare hands, it's then promptly thrown onto the warmer where it sits. Server two drops our chilli bites into the frier once cooked, tosses them into a bag, and throws them to the same area as the burgers. Then, sculking back to the falsely perceived safe place, she retrieves her phone from the back of her jeans. Cue uninterested teenager one ... she skips back to the front, singing along to the trashy looping playlist. We ask if we can sit inside, it's been a long journey, part gesticulation, part mumble server one points to a lone table, underneath sits the last customers dropped food, cautiously we approach ground Zero, or more commonly known as a dirty seating area with food and a dirty eating surface. But at least we're not alone, and flies join us. They, too, dance along to the trashy loopy garbage which leaks from the speakers hidden someplace. They feast or dried mess on the windows and skirting boards. The windows are part glass, part food and fingerprints, No need to pay £3.00 to feed a poor fly and its family. These lot have lots of free pickings. Food is quickly eaten. I won't compliment this as, frankly, my whole experience here was disgusting. I'm speaking to head office for my £16.00 quid back. My partner needs to use the facilities, the look on her face explains that one on her way back, no need for a description I'll leave it at that shall I ..? The outside area is littered with discarded cigarette butts, the bin on the way out has no liner in it, the top is littered with old food, the place is a disgusting mess. Food standards haven't visited here for quite some while, well actually, 2019 At any one time during our visit, did I see anyone touch alcohol gel, wash their hands This place is a disgrace. I'm ex Infantry. I can assure you I have eaten in some darn dirty places, but to have had to pay for this awful experience takes the biscuit. This lot can’t get a very simple order right. Twice I have been and twice they forgot to give me fries. 3 members of staff on and I was the only customer. I would not recommend this place.

i recommend the angus, bit smaller then most of the other burgers but is seriously worth every penny.

Got food from here whilst staying in the Travelodge next door. Food was OK, the staff were friendly and polite.

Recently Burger King has been on a decline at Redhills, but this evening the premises were clean, the service prompt and the young female cashier was friendly and polite and the food for takeaway was well prepared and hot. We will be back

Completely reconfigured. The little chef has gone to be replaced by a much bigger BK and a Greggs. Obviously its all clean and new, but the staff have changed too. Very enthusiastic and cheery. A great experience, lets hope it stays this good.

Nipped in today off the motorway on the way to keswick,after driving for 2 hours fancied a breakfast, ordered breakfast which wasnt the worst i had ,but generally what you expect of the motorway, after sitting down and getting our breakfast numerous amount of flies buzzing around the table.Gave what was left of my breakfast to partner after hearing staff member chatting about a cockroach being on fellow female staff members back ,then the staff member collecting it in a pint glass and asking if it bites,then leaving the dining room???partner just paid and we went,distgusted.

Well where to start, on way to Scotland and we needed a break so decided to go here as it came up on sat nav. Turned into the car park to see there was no sign and at one point I did think it wasn't open. Anyway we walked in and it shares with a cafe Burger King is just like an add on at the end, there were 3 tables which could seat 10 people. We were the only ones in and went to order, after the youth finally finished looking at his phone we ordered. My wife went to the toilet and I went to a table, now saying that there was nobody in and 2 staff I would have thought they could have cleaned them, oh no the cleanest which I sat at had lettuce leaves on, the one next to us have sauce smeared all over it and the third was just full of rubbish. As soon as we had been served the 2 staff disappeared in to the cafe ( still dirty tables). Some other victims came in and they came scurrying back to take orders and cook (without washing hands). After we had finished I needed to visit the toilet but to be honest with the staff as they were I was reluctant to leave the wife alone ( has anyone seen Wrong Turn) I thought I would return to an empty table and the wife could have been a bacon double cheese burger. To say it was scruffy is an understatement and to be honest the staff could do with some training. On another note I will not be letting the sat nav tell me where to eat in future.

We often choose to call in at Burger King before we get to the M6, from West Cumbria; using the minor road behind Reghed. As the time to get home is about is about 50 minutes, this is also an ideal driving break location.

We were "forced" to get something to eat here after breaking down on the M6 and having our car taken here by the RAC. The signs weren't good: a dirty front door, and toilets(shared with the Little Chef), which rivaled the one from Trainspotting familiar to Ewan McGregor.

I don't expect much from BK to be fair, but the persistent rudeness and poor attitude from the presumably manager, no less, takes some beating. Definitely an award-winner but not for the right reasons.

called in for childs meal paid for meal to be told they'd run out of toys even though meal shd include one. a very disappointed child as saw bag containing food had trolls pic on so was expecting troll. food was cold, burgers looked cheap, not like usual meat standard. very disappointing as my burger was full of pale limp lettuce. won't bother going back. woman who took order clearly wasn't happy to be at work. she took money then went over to serve chips without cleaning hands...

This has to be worst in UK most rude staff ever as in talking amongst selfs about customer ,they never have any basics in stock ,filthy kitchen and eating area...

Visited here Sunday 7th Feb 2016, one member of staff having general chat on the phone the other stood beside him, neither doing a thing, waited and waited to be served, even moved so the girl could see us better, no acknowledgement at all, girl just walked passed us without saying a word and man carried on with his chat! Needless to say we left to go somewhere else to eat, great customer service.............not

I visited this recently and found the staff to be friendly and helpful, with vouchers, it can be a cheap meal with a drink and fries for less than 3 pounds.upside, service and help fast.downsidebeing charged for dips, bbq etc. fries not always fresh or hot.for a cheap takeaway I would recommend this place. but bear in mind its average.

Exactly same as above! Had a child that needed the toilet aswell as myself and we wernt allowed on... wernt allowed to sit in even though there was tables to sit at! And the fanta was flat! Wouldn't go back to this particular restaurant!

Food was cold, Coca Cola was flat, wernt aloud to use the toilets or sit in and very bad customer service! Not impressed at all!!!
