Burger & Flame in Birmingham

Had me waiting over 30 mins for one burger meal. Totally unacceptable. They need more staff to cover member of the public orders ,as they seem understaffed, they just seemed overwhelmed with orders. A positive, but just feel it let's them down when public person isn't also deemed the priority

Fries could be better. Donner was very spicy. Packaging needs improving... Rubicon Mango was 🔥

After reading the reviews I thought they were being callous however to my disappointment the reviews were in fact justifiable I ordered a burger meal and it arrived cold, stale and flat the chips had a card board texture it seems to me they had served me old food it was completely inedible I was forced to dispose it. Please save your money as I wish I did

Burger and flame is normally a really good fast food option but today was a whole different story.My family and I stopped by and we bought two smash burger box and we expected it to be good but when we tried it the burger bun was hard but we never thought anything of it because it might of been a mistake but when we got into the the it was VERY different than the one that we normally get it was hard, thin and no juice came out so this is why I have chosen this bad of a review.

Food came in a plastic beg wrapped in foil. Chicken coating was cooked to be quite dark- not really impressed

Real let down about this place as this was my go to place for food before every home game. Came here on 24/08/24 at 14:15, with the shutters up, shop open with signs saying open and the shop door open. For me to be turned around and spoken to in a rude tone by a male staff member to say 10-15 minutes (referring to the time they will open) when on google, it stated that they open at 12pm. I do not like to rant and complaint. However, you got to update your opening hours on google by providing accurate opening hours because you are misleading your customers. If the shop is going to open late, make an announcement on social media or make a note on the shop door to inform customers. And to be spoken to in a rude manner was unprofessional and that there was no need what so ever. Where was the duty of care for your customers? Getting into the food, I have ordered a signature burger meal (spicy dipped chicken burger meal) and this is a real let down because I’ve had it in the past with the spicy dipped burger with no issues and it was tasty, flavourful and delicious. However, my burger was undercooked where the burger was so tough to eat. Real let down and the fries were a let down too. In terms of sauces, you need to have enough sauce in the tub and not provide almost empty bottle of sauce (the garlic sauce). Customer loyalty does not mean anything here in this place. Honestly, this has been a let down and never have I ever had a bad experience here and loved coming here on match days. After my experience here on the 24/08/24, I will be going elsewhere to eat on match days and none match days where I feel welcome.

decided to go to lovely aston and see what hidden gems they could have and came across this shop. it seemed good then i got greeted by that fat ugly no gcses having employer. its actually embarrassing maybe if this place had good management it could be good. tried a burger was just harsh chilli no flavour how are you going to advertise yourself as a burger shop without even perfecting a basic burger. also why did the shop have a lingering sewage smell… DONT COME HERE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY!! 👆 Customer service absolutely terrible

Prices have increased but portion sizes havw gotten smaller. My food was left on the floor by the front door. Not worth the money. Won't be purchasing from here again.

Came back after a while giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoped things had changed but sadly no It has seriously gone down hill. I was embarrassed as I had taken my family and wasted over £40 waited almost an hour amd the food was still cold and tasted stale. We ordered the signature burger and it was disgusting nothing like what we had when they first opened. Nachos and cheese tasted cheap. The grilled bbq donner was just the sauce mixed up in a plate of donner guess he forgot to grill it. When i asked the chef he didn't know the difference between a grill and a stir fry wok. Then the guy in the front said we'll grill it for you. Chef was absolutely clueless. I feel sorry for the lad at the front you can see he was absolutely bombarded and embarrassed with he food that was coming out. Can't blame him when the management and chef don't care

A bit too much spice in the doner. Fries were cold. Maybe give another try, but not anytime soon.

I visit here quite often, I ordered the Peri Chicken and rice which was nice hot and tasty, didnt take too long to make, very big portion couldn't finish it all. I will be back again 👍🏽

Order from here quite regularly and big orders as well. Not sure who answered the phone but the guy needs to sort his attitude out. Was going to put another big order through but with that attitude he's going to lose business. Needs to learn how to speak to people. If you can't speak to people don't answer the phone!

Signature Naga Burger was MASSIVE & EXTREMELY SPICY! Next day I was on the toilet with burning pain🤣 Tasty & big but don't blame them when you go for your next painful bowel movement. 🌶️ 🚽 ❤️‍🔥 🥵 Fries with the meal were okay but could've been a bigger portion with complimentary dip. Drink was ice cold (helps after that Naga burger) BBQ doner on fries was delicious. Meat was good quality, something unfortunately rare in most kebab shops. Double smash burger was well made, not soggy or overcooked & meat was good quality. Could've been big as the chicken fillet burger but what can you do 🤷‍♂️ Quite expensive so they could increase portion for meals but will go again.

The food arrived 30 minutes late. I was fasting. I placed the order to arrive at 07:45 but it arrived 30 minutes late. I called the restaurant twice to find out where my order is but they weren’t helpful. I was told by them to that it’s got nothing to do with them and to contact just-eat. Due to the delay by the time the food arrived the smash party was cold and the burger bun was soggy. The wraps were a little bit cold.

There’s so much rubbish all over the floor I wouldn’t eat in. Absolutely freezing inside as well. Really long wait as well, even though shop was basically empty. Smash burger average nothing special, donner meat was dry & chicken wings very basic. Naga sauce for chicken poppers (fiery hot shots) was a bit sweet. Although my sister enjoyed them. My sister got the signature burger and it left her mouth red and sore! Too spicy to enjoy. The classic fillet burger was standard, nothing special. It was nice and crispy though. Overall nothing special at all, just go to dixy’s & save your £

Excellent choice of food, amazing burgers, loaded fries are to die for and considering this place is a burger place the pizzas are really great - lots of topping and plenty of cheese. This is the best place to visit if you are going to Villa park for pre match food. The only fault I have found is that the toilet is always out of order. All in all a fantastic place to eat.

What a surprise this place was, the staff were brilliant very knowledgeable and helpful with what they suggested for us to order, the place is quiet small but very cosy and nicely lit up and clean, seating very comfortable, the food was delicious burger and naga donner were delicious, well done will be back.

Ordered a pizza which was raw and tasteless, told the man at the till who said it is cooked and can cook it further. I said no as it will burn the top then he said it wouldn't but it did. Food is not good, do not recommend at all. Also my husband ordered the dipped burger which barely had any sauce on it.

I had to go collect my own food as the timing kept changing. Not very happy about this as I selected delivery. I ordered my food at 18.30 it was ready before 7 but on the just eat app it showed the courier was not available and the time kept going more and more forward. I did not want to be eating cold food as my food was already prepared and went collected myself. Eventually still checking the app it was showing my food will be delivered for 20.30 a hour and a half after my food was cooked. If

Disappointed with the food unfortunately. Pizza was very well done, dark brown colour. Ordered mild for the kids and it was far too spicy so they couldn’t eat it. Donner meat was very dry and sad looking and smothered in sauce.

Ordered a take out for the the family. The food was certainly on the plus side with a variety offered on the menu. I would visit again.

I ordered a Mexican burger the one with crisps inside it and there was only 1 crisp and they didn't put any lettuce at all. The chicken was cooked good but i’m quite furious they put no salad and very less sauce. Furthermore, the portion sizes are quite small and it is expensive. There is also very less parking and although I don’t have a car or a family, it was quite disappointing to have such a small parking space.

The food was very good and the decor inside the store felt really clean and comfortable. I ordered a normal donner on fries but the server mistaked it with a naga donner on fries. It wasn’t a big deal but the service was mediocre. The food however was very good and flavourful. Chips were a little uncooked and soggy. Overall it was a good place to eat.

The food was not packed very well as the items were leaking into the bag, also they forgot the fries and drink which I had paid for.

I never recieved my pizza and my burger and i have contacted the restaurant and they have said to report to just eat as they definitely sent out all items.

First time coming to this place and definitely will be my last upon my arrival i was greeted by a member of staff with a straight face its like he didnt care whats so ever he nodded at me and said "what do you want" I ordered a double smash pattie burger meal the burger was the size of a mcdonalds burger and had no taste at all it was bland fries were overly done I asked for a small pot of Algerian sauce but it wasn't Algerian sauce it was like a orangey spicey mayonnaise mixed with water AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Horrible experience as my brothers recommended this place for drip burger and when burgers came there was no sauce on the only to be fobbed off by the man behind the counter who said the burgers have drip in it. When my brother showed him a picture of the burger he had last time the man proceeded to tell him it's late and the sauce has finished. Why didn't he just say theres no drip burger on menu tonight?

Overpriced the chicken burger was rock solid hashbrown was mushy for 12 pounds!!! It was not worth it at all!

Great quality, good price range.✅ If your stomach can handle spice I would suggest the naga donner and fries.🌶️🤯 Wings taste amazing as well as the loaded fries that come with chicken.🍗 The Peri Peri pizza has a great combination of toppings ( I would suggest the small because the crust tastes better) 🍕. I usually go takeaway every 2 weeks but I can say 100% the best takeaway in Aston 🏪 (having lived there for 10 years)

The food selection is quite good here. I have tried the spicy burger (dipped burger) and the donner. The donner is quite nice since its not just donner, its got other things in there too. The prices are quite reasonable and the service is quite quick.

I am absolutely furious! I placed an order for some loaded chicken and jalapenos bites, and what do they give me? Just two pathetic, crushed pieces stuffed carelessly and mushy in a bag! On top of that, they have the audacity to charge me £2.69 for this pitiful excuse of a meal. When I complained, their response was a dismissive 'deal with it' and they claimed it was the bag's fault. No replacements, no refunds offered whatsoever! They had the nerve to tell me to 'take it or leave it. I would never to set foot in that place again, and I strongly advise against anyone else going there. Very bad experience 😕. Shame I forgot to take a picture of it.
