Buns & Grills in Wiltshire

I'm not a fan of "typical" town fast food (like kebabs etc). I had the vegan burger last night, and the only thing I didn't like/wasn't happy about, was the fact I only had 1....so totally my fault. Next time I'll definitely be getting more. The milkshakes also are definitely worth a shout out. I had the kinder chocolate, which was nice, could have just been a plain chocolate though. My friend had the biscoff shake, which naturally I had to try, which I will definitely be having next time

Good food, Good flavours and visually quite appealing, but the burgers are slightly dry and boneless chicken wings the same, the mac and cheese & chips were average (can’t really go wrong with chips). Overall I was satisfied with the food but not amazed. My experience- exactly one year ago, was a lot better than this time.

I used to be a frequent customer of this establishment until they engaged in unethical business practices. They reduced the size of their food portions without informing their customers, while maintaining the same price. Had I been aware of this change, I would have brought somethingelse. Unfortunately, this establishment has lost a loyal customer due to their deceptive practices.

Reheated chips, stale burger buns, missing content in the selected burgers and microwaved cheesy beef nachos leaving them like cardboard. This used to be a great place but as so many like it have given up the effort after the first year….. amazingly poor food these days, avoid at all costs.

Usally order from buns and grills with a long delivery time but the food is good but this time food was bad and we were missing half of the times we ordered.

I usually don’t leave reviews but the food was so tasty I really thought I should. Will definitely be ordering from here again

Smashed Burger was banging, crispy chips 👌 Burger was fresh and juicy, great flavour. Can’t complain 😋

The smash burger was ok, just..but as to the rest of the order: Kentucky chicken was rock hard and inedible. 4 pieces went to the bin. Had obviously been sitting around for hours. Chips were barely warm on arrival, cple of mins in the air fryer meant at least we could eat them. I'm not sure what the Texas toast should have been, a slice of limp, barely toasted poor quality bread was what it was. Won't be ordering from here again.

Shocking order of food. ‘Texas’ toast is just white bread toasted. The drumstick is thick breadcrumbs with an anemic piece of chicken and the other piece is equally the same. Terrible food. And terrible service. Staff don’t seem to understand the menu. Aside from milkshakes this place just downright awful. Chose is above other restaurants for a change as opposed to our usual. Would definitely not eat here again and would dissuade friends and family to spend their money at more established quality establishments.

Very lovely service and a cosy atmosphere. The food was ok but not great.

First time ordering from here. I was not disappointed, I did think prices were little more than I usually pay however after getting it delivered before the timer ran out tasting it. I cannot complain at all was great food at very good quality for the price. AMAZING! Thank you guys just brilliant.

Ordered Mac and cheese which was nice sweet potato fries good 4 pieces of chicken which were not good very skinny drumsticks and flesh was dry definitely not a soft buttermilk texture.

Ordered a waffle and cookie dough. The waffle looked great but it didn't come with any ice cream so it was a pretty dry experience. The cookie dough was tiny and definitely not worth £8.45.

Chips were cold. Too much mayo in the burger. Onion rings were nice as was the chicken.

Online hours said they were open till 11 on a Saturday but shut at 10:15 👎

Its been 35 minutes past the delivery time and our food hasn’t turnt up. Nobody is answering the phone at the number provided and the shop closes in 1 minute

The burgers were really good, but a shame that even though we pre-ordered it arrived late and the chips were cold.

The food was delivered on time. And neatly packed. However my first time ordering here I wasn’t happy with the quality of the food. Firstly you sent me the wrong order. And secondly the fish burger was overcooked.

Portions were good. Hubby said the burger was good and my requests for no gherkins/mayo etc were followed. I prefer fat chips lol but they were fine. One portion of chips would have done both of us.

I Ordered a couple of the munch boxes, one for me and one for the wife & I must say we are very very impressed, it was delivered in about 15 minutes, the food is as fresh as it could get, tasted absolutely fantastic. Very good value for the price. Definitely recommend.

We had the munch box delivered as part of their July special. We've had food before but as it was my birthday wanted this special. Food as always amazing and best mac n cheese ever! Not greasy, tastes amazing and great value for money. The chicken is the best too. :)

Gorgeous burger and chips highly recommend

Just tried Buns & Grills had hoped for something good, but single handedly the worst burger I have ever had! The burger had a really weird taste and actually put me off from eating it. Fries were good, but pricey for what they were. Sadly won’t be going back there again.

The boneless chicken was a bit tough and disappointing. To much BBQ sauce was soggy on the outside.

Absolutely gorgeous chicken burger and chips were amazing! The cookie dough was so so nice as well and delivery was really quick - made a pregnant woman very happy, thank you!

have gone to a lot of burger joints and buns and grills have to be amongst the top of the list. there is a good selection to choose from, even vegan friendly options. I personally enjoyed the smash burger, you can't go wrong with a smash burger, and although a smash burger is an American concept, they've gotten is down good. the service is quick and friendly and the ambiance of the place is lovely as well. The décor is inviting. This is a place I would travel to for a good burger, and bring friends.

Food is terrible the Mac and cheese is rank had no sauce the chicken tasted nuked chips cold burgers warm soggy bun onion rings from Iceland no doubt and a smash burger is smashed with a nice crust not really thick burgers and the shakes are just as bad as the food 5 quid a shake absolute joke don't bother peep's

Wow amazing gourmet burgers 🙌 I have been to this establishment and it continuously improving its quality. You can really taste the premium Angus beef they are using in their burgers. Again Amzing burgers and the sides and desserts are good too!! 10/10

When this 1st opened it was brilliant, the burgers was the best around and totally worth the money, and I am a regular customer, but the last 2 times, the burgers have been cheap meat tasting and you can tell by the look of it that the meat is not the top quality meat used before! If u want to sell normal tasting burgers then do so, but don’t still charge the price of a proper in house made burger, the last 2 times defo have been a waste of money, so I won’t be ordering from here again,

In my honest opinion, the chicken wings were meh, it can be better ♡. BUT!!!! Arghhh… the BURGERS!!! Omg specially the SMASH BURGER, are TO DIE FORRRR!!! 😮‍💨 Definitely recommend! 👍 Ps: I ordered some extra cheese on top of my fries but they’ve forgotten. 🥲 Tho its okay, they can get away with it because of how generous they are with the other sauces 😉 Thank you Buns and Grills ~

My girlfriend and I have had many takeaways and Buns & Grills is by far the best around. You definitely get what you pay for. The food was delivered quickly, within 20 mins of ordering. It was still hot. Extremely tasty food and the milkshakes are incredible. I would recommend this to anyone and not sure why others have rated so low.

The burgers and milkshake was great but the wings was uneatable as its made me gag. Its was coved with sauce. Its also went cold very quick.

Honestly, one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while, me and the mrs got full stack meal deal! That burger was insane, chicken, burger and hash brown with their house sauce what more could you want, we also got two milkshakes which were straight bussin! Lemon and herb wings also top tier, 100% recommend this place and will be ordering from here a lot more for sure, thank you guys for the unreal burgers ❤️

I have been here many times since open. My favourite is the full stacked and loaded fries, the flavours are amazing and the service too 🤙🏼

As i were told it was amazing i was profoundly disappointed by the lack of skill or competence used to create our meal. upon delivery my Kentucky chicken burger was dry and spicy there was no sense of flavour to it. the fries were bland and boring. the chicken wings we ordered turned out to be chicken strips after they got our order wrong. the onion rings were dripping in moisture and soggy. one of the worst takeaways i have had! if you wish to further this accusation speak to anyone in calne only decent eating is between 6:00-6:30. Absolutely tragic for some self pronounced “chefs” give up while you still have some honor.

We'd been intrigued by what appeared to be a good-looking independent and serious burger spot when we moved to Calne and finally ordered. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The menu choices are EXCELLENT - rice, burgers, fried chicken... A far cry from the other choices in town of kebab shop burgers.. My gf and I had the smash burger, two pattys with their own burger sauce, gherkins and caramelized onions. Honestly absolutely delicious, the beef was spiced somehow rather than plain beef but that came as a pleasant and delicious surprise! I also ordered 5 wings with lemon and herb dressing. The wings were huge, juicy, with a delicious coating and sauce. The chips were also frickin delicious and 100% we'll be ordering again soon! Well done buns and grills! Better than any london joint!!!

First time ordering from here and WOW definitely again the burgers were tasty and full of flavour and not the typical greasy mess you usually get from fast food! Even better the sweet potato fries were lovely they have even put effort into having these logos on all the wrapping super impressed !! Would highly recommend best burgers in town by far

Awesome. So nice to have something like this I'm calne. Taste so much better than the usual kebab places. Would be nice if they can work out how to get the burgers to you piping hot and the milkshakes colder but I guess that's a problem all takeaways have. I had the kentucky burger which taste amazing but warm rather than hot and loaded fries which were nice and hot and delicious with jalapeños, chicken pieces and nacho sauce. Lovely!

AMAZING, was reluctant to try but totally worth the money! Beats the same old greasy, heavy, kebab houses.. nice to see Calne have a more classy burger shop! 100% recommend

It's only just opened and was quite busy when I went and ordered and collected my takeaway! They were very friendly and helpful! The food I ordered was piping hot and tasted good! My criticism would be that when you get a meal deal the amount of fries is a very small portion for what you pay! I also had chicken stripes and they were very small for the price I paid although they tasted nice the size was very small for what I paid! The burger I ordered was very good the downside I would say was a very soggy bun! Its early days for the place but improvements definitely to be made! Still would come back again but hope for some improvement on portion sizes and chicken strips to be bigger they were literally like the size of a chipolata sausage! Update went 5 November and still no improvements worthy of updating my rating or adjusting my review

We have ordered 3 times and it’s usually amazing however on this occasion the Chips were hard and cold, Burger was like warm and Milkshake completely melted. Very disappointed because I was really looking forward to it especially living so close to the shop we were hoping food would be fresh. What a waste of money.

Hands down the best burger place in town! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were beyond friendly, attentive and polite. So glad this place has opened up, this is exactly what Calne needed. This has now become my go to place and I’ve been a regular ever since it’s opened. Highly recommend Buns & Grills to all!

I ordered buffalo chicken wings and loaded fries, the wings were very overcooked and not crispy. The fries were soggy and the chicken on the fries was worse than the wings! I phoned and complained, they gave me another order of my food on the house. Exactly the same thing with the new order so not a mistake, just how they are. Unfortunately I cannot recommend the food. The customer service was good as they wanted to help me but the food let them down.

We tried a cheeseburger meal deal. The fries were piping hot and very tasty and a generous portion.

Ordered from here the other night and within 20 minutes of eating it I had a really bad stomach and still the next day even! Don’t usually make complaints I like to support any new local takeaway but won’t be ordering from this place again. The burger looked a little on the rare side which could be the reason. I had a smash burger and loaded fries and the bun was a bit soggy too apart from that the food was pretty good not amazing but pretty good but defo made me sick 🤒
