Wasn't good place to enjoy good food and now changing hands

I have three wowchers for the bunkhouse, went to book one via a phone call to be told not accepting them as under new management, these vouchers are still for sale. Now i have the hassle of trying to get a refund from wowcher. Very poor indeed.

advised when trying to book over the phone today that they are no longer accepting the vouchers currently being sold online by companies like wowcher, living social etc, due to their "change of ownership" - would have been good to know this before i purchased 2 of them this morning - not inpressed tbh, was keen to try the place though I wont be bothering now

Contacted the Bunkhouse to see if they could accommodate a party of 20. They couldn’t have been more helpful and actually seemed pleased to host us. The room was adorable, drinks flowing and service amazing. Everyone had a great meal. Staff were lovely and good craic too. Made us all feel so welcome and we had the best night for a 50th birthday. Parking is great also. Loved the vibe of this cute wee restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you so much again for being so friendly and charming 🥰

Went here during the summer and it took over an hour to be seated, even though we had a booking. Almost an hour between starters and mains. Everyone's food was brought out at different times, some of it was already quite cold. In fairness everyone commented on the food quality, so 1 extra star for that. Drinks selection was limited as they had already started to run out of drinks. Paying was a nightmare because they had lost our order, so I've no idea if we actually paid the right amount. In summary, good food but some of the most awful service I've experienced, ever. Can't recommend.

Terrible service, walked out after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Would have been okay if the place was busy but it wasn’t. Tables also very dirty, not cleaned from the previous customers, at least they got something to eat!!!

Nice food. Lovely play list of songs lol. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Interesting location.

Staff and management so welcoming, no question that this should be the new local for anyone in the area, peaceful courtyard out front for a few pints. Chicken burger was top notch. Didn't expect it to be so enjoyable.

Went to the bunkhouse this evening and got the Korean chicken burger. To say it was the best chicken burger I’ve ever had was and understatement it was out of this world. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was a hassle. I will decently be back ❤️

Great big sized delicious meals. My husband had a starter & loved the flavour, he said it was full of flavour. I had a burger & chips. It's a Big burger, so much so that my husband had to eat half of it! We loved it. Even the dessert was delicious too. Perfect place for a family meal out or for a relaxing couples meal out. Benches outside that you can dine at day or night.

We had a bit of wait for food, which we wouldn't have minded as much but we'd a hungry 6 year old with us. We had pizza and was SO worth the wait. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!! As good as any we'd eaten on holiday in Italy, and certainly the best we'd had in Belfast. We will definitely go back. Please give this place a try, it's worth a visit.

Me and my fiancé stayed at let’s go hydro for glamping for 5 nights on our first night (31st July) we ate here and the food was great and the cocktails well made we were served by a waitress who was seemingly nervous as the place has only recently opened but she did everything correctly so props to her. The squid and soup were very spicy and we didnt realise before ordering they would be so maybe a spice rating would help. The menu was very limited however. On our second night (4th august)we booked in for the pizza boutiques thinking it was a separate menu but seated in the bistro. The man at the entrance seemingly a manager seemed very confused that we booked and said he never saw a booking before??? We then sat down and waited for the menu which after about 15 minutes we were asked had we ordered? We were then handed a menu where the pizza boutique seemingly only has 5 options when the menu online had many more. We ordered our food , the cocktail was so bland and didn’t even taste like it had alcohol in it that I had to order a Coke Zero to replace it, the starter came which was okay but a big confusing why we had a thing of water and lime with our wings we guess that’s to clean hand but we weren’t given napkins to dry. After that we had to wait 45 minutes from finishing our starter for our main when it wasn’t that busy? They also forgot to bring out half a order. Then when we went to pay we had to stand in front of the bar awkwardly for 5-10 minutes to pay while we were ignored by the manger dude and other staff as they worked about while we waited to pay with a queue building behind us! Was the most awkward experience I’ve had in a restaurant The waitress was nice but she didn’t seem to be able to handle just our table alone The food is genuinely great especially with it being in a aqua park u wouldn’t expect that nice of food was expecting birthday party level food so as for food it’s amazing but as for service it will range from meh to terrible I’m not one to complain but the staff from the 4th august need to work some stuff out

Far to expensive for what it is won't be back. Korean chicken burger bland and soggy salad inside it. Sticky chicken wings where not sticky in the slightest they were just deep fat fried wings with a drizzle of sauce poured on them, the sauce was the nicest thing out of both meals. In my opinion a Garlic chip should have garlic butter and not garlic mayo poured on it, that's a garlic mayo chip and £5 for it is an absolute joke. Waitresses were lovely but seemed under pressure as we felt bit rushed when ordering and food being served. Maybe hire more staff you can def afford it given the prices of the food. Very disappointed overall

Extremely disappointed. Was seated and after 15mins had to ask staff to take our order. Waited 40mins still no food arrived .Staff said our order wouldn't be long then told our order had been lost in kitchen. Asked staff to cancel order paid for drinks and left.

Wee family treat & so glad we did! Food was absolutely delicious. & with a family of fussy eaters & food intolerance, its not always easy to keep everyone happy! These guys were so accommodating & couldnt do enough to make sure everything was just right, even in the middle of a very busy service. We will definitely be back & looking forward to it!!
