Bunchiz in Kirklees

First time visiting bunhiz Huddersfield, the owner greeted me and parting with a very warm welcome. The food here is amazing, so flavourful and cooked to absolute perfection. I will definitely be returning for more.

We spent a night in Huddersfield and wanted a takeaway. We went into here. I had the chicken, rice, chip and salad and my daughter the chicken burger meal with a milkshake. The food was amazing and huge portions. If I ever come back here I'll definitely go in there again.

Me and family ate yesterday at bunchiz. It was mouth watering. The grilled chicken was much better than nandoz chicken and my kids had the burgers and they absolutely loved it 😋 . Best grilled chicken in Huddersfield. Service was amazing aswell. Will definitely visit again. Definitely highly recommend it.

What a great little spot! Ever normally spoilt for choice at a fast food place, but the menu has a great variety and with some lovely, colourful and flavourful grill options

Had given this place 5 star when it was opened, have been a regular customer for couple of years now and they just keep going downhill. Got so fed up with their continuous mess up of orders and now decided to leave a review as they won’t listen. Ordered popcorn chicken for the kids to come without fries yet I have always got fries with it. Even at the restaurant no issues u get a drink and fries with the popcorn chicken yet if u order for delivery u would only get popcorn on its own. Make it make sense. Apparently can’t even check previous orders obv cuz ur not being consistent with the orders. Spending ££ and having to argue over fries PATHETIC.

The chicken in burgers was uncooked had to bin them all...fries were cold too with delivery being so late as well

quality of food = good. delivery time=good issue is we recived the wrong order entirely. when i called the restaurant to explain we were missing most of what we ordered they told us order was still there and I'd need to come to collect. Driver taken wrong bag bs.. I went to collect and was given 2 of the items we had initially ordered which still didn't complete our original order that had clearly been sent out to someone else at this point.... absolutly fuming... Never ordering from here again!

10/10 the best burgers we have had in the last three years. We've ordered twice this weekp once Beef burgers and then chicken burgers and loved both. Really really good, loaded fries were immense (not just toppings with sad fries underneath) but ingredients were mixed throughout. We really loved our food tonight, no notes. Top job!

System is very very poor. I paid twice for a food and went to the shop for a refund. They said they do not do refunds. Which shop in the UK does no refund. Such cheats. Be careful not to pay twice.

Had a really great lunch, half a grilled chicken with jerk sauce with rice chips and coleslaw. All of it delicious, will be coming again.

My only gripe is that there were no fries with my latest order, otherwise, good food.

So glad this spot has opened, it has the best freshest burgers with large portions, I’d recommend the blazing burger or drip burger! The owner is so lovely, wish him all the success! Will be my new regular burger place 🫶🏼

Ordered a full chicken and at £13 with the rice, fries and salad one can’t complain. Beautiful texture and sauce. Would not hesitate to return and recommend.

Spicy chicken tower burger lacks flavour so get the one that is dipped in a spicy sauce but you can ask them to do what I did which was to drizzle the sauce on it and not to dip it because it's a really crispy burger so I wanted to maintain that. That made it a lot better. The size of the burger is really large too so definitely worth it. I would get this again it was nice not the best I've had but I like the flavour and size. 8/10 The skin of fries that come with the meals are perfect, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and perfectly seasoned with I think peri peri salt or possibly Cajun seasoning but it's perfect and elevates the chip. 10/10 The double smash burger was decent it had great flavours, it was a good size again nice and large but the patties were a little dry which was annoying. It had a really crispy onion ring in my burger which was really nice and added texture which was solid. 7/10 Lamb chops were the best thing after the chips, these melted in my mouth and had a good kick of spice. Very little chewing required. I had five spicy ones and five buffalo. The spicy one's are way better, buffalo one's were nice and had small amounts of spice but found them sweet which isn't for me. If you like buffalo you'll enjoy them for sure. My only issue with them is the size and thickness. They're small and thin and sometimes you get some back chops which have hardly any meat and very expensive for a single portion. 9/10 Loaded fries were below average not great. We got the mixed one with lamb and chicken but just lacks flavour and wasn't great. I think it's because I've had much better in a few different places so it was just disappointing for me. 3/10 Butterfly platter was disappointing too only because the chicken breast was dry. The extra hot wasn't even that hot. It had good flavour though it didn't disappoint in that aspect and the thinner parts were juicy. I did tell the guy but he said the breast is always dry but that's not true if you can cook chicken breast well. It comes with salad and chips which makes it better but salad is just standard salad with some feta nothing special no dressing so you know subpart. The rice was nice though. My advice is to go with the chicken leg/thigh platter instead. 2/10 I'm giving a 3/5 stars overall because the food is above average but some things were just below average. And the cost was high for 5 people. To be honest there's way better chicken shops out there that are cheaper. But I would suggest going here for lamb chops, burgers and fries. The grill chicken isn't bad either but avoid breast. Not worth the price point. Service was very good and lots of seating and it was comfortable. I'm unhappy about the chicken breast comment I feel like that's a poor excuse. But I'd definitely go here again.

Oh my days! I took a risk ordering from somewhere I’d never ordered from before but so glad I did! My new favourite burger place. The food is absolutely gorgeous, well packaged and fast delivery

I went there the other day and the staff were super nice and friendly, I've ordered the monster burger meal. The burger consists of Brioche bun, 2 angus beef, spicy fried strips, lettuce, red onion, tomato, gherkin, cheese slice, Bunchiz burger sauce, Bunchiz hot sauce and nacho cheese sauce. The burger was super juicy and delicious, the chips were seasoned well and was super crunchy. I would go there again and have that meal, definitely recommend anyone who hasn't tried the meal. 9/10

Been to bunchiz on a few occasions and each time the service and food have been spot on. Today that wasn't the case. Given a 3 as I’ve taken previous visits into account. Ordered a buffalo wrap earlier, was given one that tasted like peri peri. Chicken had gristle and there was alot of water coming from it. Waited over half an hour for this as there were only two staff members there during lunchtime period. Bad management.

Since this place is so close to the university campus, I’ve come here numerous times. The “chicken rice meal” is my go-to order. However, I’ve tried their different burgers and wraps as well, and they all taste just as good. Cozy atmosphere inside, and the staff have only been kind to us (few times a staff member walked by our table and asked us if our meal was satisfactory—how nice is that?!) You can see a lot of university students in here. It’s a halal restaurant. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful shop, tasty food but service is absolutely rubbish, I visit this place quite often and the only thing stops me from going there is their service, there is always long wait and people who always come after us get the food before us happened that many times. However they have the taste

i ordered online for a delivery they then called me and said there was no delivery drivers and they couldn’t do anything about it because they already accepted the order, also a refund wasn’t available? so they told me to come pick it up, and i did. i asked for my delivery fee back when i was at the shop and they said they cant do anything about it. how can you tell me to come pick my food when i clicked delivery are you crazy? then also not even give me my delivery money back. i am never coming back to this place 😠😠!!

I ordered for the first time half chicken, and it was great. Very delicious, like homemade food. Definitely my new favourite.

First time try and food was nice but peri burger and chicken leg boneless was not cook properly that’s reason they should have cook properly peri chicken grill we have told the owner but they seem didn’t want to listen anyway and I wouldn’t order peri chicken grill but zinger burger was much better

The food wasn’t as bad however I have ordered a carrot cake and got a chicken burger instead. Called them and all they could say is that they don’t have any sweet substitutes that they could offer so they’ve given the chicken burger. Asked for refund and they said that they don’t do any refunds. Additionally, ordered two mild half chickens and received spicy ones instead.

Wow food here was spot on. This is a seriously good nandos alternative. The place is spacious and clean. The food arrived in good time and portion size in relation to price was very nice. I wasn't a massive fan of the rice as I felt they were a bit plain but that's just personal taste. Will defo be back!

The quality of food here is outstanding. I'm not usually one for leaving reviews, but I was so impressed I felt I had to share this. We had burgers, wraps, chips and spicy wings, and everything arrived piping hot and carefully packaged. The food was so filling, but didn't give that heavy weighted feeling you can sometimes get with takeaway food. The flavour was amazing - the tastiest burger I've had for a very long time. I will definitely be ordering again!

Always go here when I get the opportunity, weather physically or in spirit, once had a bunch of friends go without me and had them video call me and put the phone on chair as if I was there. Safe to say its a treat to eat at bunchiz.

Atmosphere: I like the seating areas in the restaurant. Bright and Vibrant orange interiors. All the tables are wiped clean 🧽 seating is comfortable. Service: The waiters are friendly and kind. Smile on the face. They do a 10% off student discount if you show the card ! Food: I think I got a mighty burger which is the beef patty with crispy fried onions. Nice it was tasty and the chips were very very nice. The Peri Peri chips are really nice ; fresh and fluffy with nice seasoning . Burger, the size of the patty could’ve been a bit bigger, but apart from that it was, it was fine enjoyed it.

This is the third time I've visited and I have been happy each time. The Chicken Rice Meal is delicious, excellent value and satisfying. I would try something else, but I really like the Rice Meal. Service was good, the wait time was minimal and the alert disc was quickly buzzing to let me know my food was ready. Today, the restaurant was quite quiet, but in the past there has been a vibrant stream of customers. Tables are clean, as is the restaurant and the kitchens look well organised and tidy. Previously, my colleagues and I visited for lunch , and everyone was very happy with the provision. Would Recommend!
