Bun Squad in Wycombe

Used to really love coming here up until recently feel like the food quality has gone down and so has the customer service - ordered mild but they gave us food with sticker saying 'hot', and it was spicy, and that happened twice. When asked to confirm with the kitchen, the waitress said it must be spicy for us, and all she can do is add more garlic mayo to save it. It was horrible experience, we threw the whole food in the bin (felt bad for wasting food), and walked out of there. Really poor customer service. EDIT: Sorry, your staffs didn't offer for any replacement. And the first incident was with the wrap, second time it was burger and wrap both. These are separate occasions. But I was bit hesitant to approach your counter from the previous experience as you guys are not willing to act professionally and take care of customer complaints. And rather than coming at paying customers who support your local business, please aim to do better.

Went here because of the big boy tik tok hype. And also advised by them to check it out. Did not dissapoint. Mrs was happy which is rare. Loved the beef burger + chicken grill burger +hot dog was good+ loaded fries chicken was addictive to. Great stuff. High wickombe is lucky. Thank you

I recently visited Bun Squad and had a decent experience overall. The burger was definitely enjoyable. However, I felt that it was missing a standout sauce to elevate the flavours. A more flavourful or unique sauce could really take their burgers to the next level.

First time visiting and the food did not disappoint. The hot tenders were especially good and the portion sizes huge (had to take the rest away for dinner 😏) Would deffo recommend if you like great tasting food 👌🏼

Just for the salted caramel shake, I would give this place 5 star. The best shake I have ever had, the best hot wings ever had. We had the halloumi burger meal, beef burger with double patty meal, hot wings, salted caramel shake, and a soda. The thought in how the burgers were stacked you can see was done with care, which added to how delicious it all tasted. Everything was top tier.

Great atmosphere. Food was delicious both to look at and to eat. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend and will definitely be eating there again.

I took my family last week on my wife birthday. Food was delicious, fresh and really enjoyed. Customer service was excellent and professional and friendly. Inside deco was very beautiful and atmosphere was nice. You can go with family and can enjoy food there. I would recommend to try their food.

Today, I visited Bun Squad with my dad, and we ordered the Squad Loaded Fries and a mango milkshake. Although it took a bit of time to prepare, the wait was absolutely worth it. The food was better than expected and the fries were perfectly loaded with toppings, and the mango milkshake was rich and refreshing. On top of that the atmosphere was quite clean, modern and inviting which made us feel even more welcomed. Most definitely would consider coming again! Highly recommend! :)

I had lunch today with my wife at bun squad, and it was quite amazing to be honest. We ordered game changer and a grilled chicken wrap, with generous portions of chips, it was delicious. We normally order from burger daddy however today we thought we should switch it up and go bun squad because of high recommendations. Even the workers were extremely welcoming, and the customer service was good.

Visited the restaurant today. I got the classic beef burger with cheesy chips. And a chicken tender meal for kids. The food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection with the sauces complimenting it amazingly. The cheesy chips were so good. The chips were hot and crispy with a really good amount of cheese sauce all over them. The chicken tenders were made with a good amount of pure chicken breast and the coating was nice and crispy. And to top it off, the service was exceptional. The server noticed I had children and offered to cut the chicken tenders to they would cool a little quicker for the kids. It was a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place and will be going back.

THE BEST. I have just ordered on deliveroo and it arrived 10 minutes ago. Within 5 minutes that burger was gone!!!! This is the first time i've tried this place and I order deliveroo alot and have been to many burger places elsewhere like Oxford. And I must say this is the BEST tasting burger I have had in AGES. The burger was perfectly seasoned, it was nice and big and juicy and greasy (IT WAS GODDAM PERFECT) The best thing i liked about the delivery too is they actually wrap the burgers in foil to keep it hot!! We need more of this in other places! The drink came seperatly from the food bag keeping the food hot and the fries were just banging!! Will definitely be ordering from here again

Very clean restaurant. The lady that served myself and my brother was very polite and helpful. As for the food... Loaded chicken fries were spot on. Lovely chicken. The burgers were all fresh ingredients and were very nice. But, I think lacked seasoning on the meat. Also the burger meat felt a bit chewy. Was still nice but I feel the strong point is the chicken for sure. Either way a very nice place to eat and reasonably priced

The burgers are absolutely massive, like literally bigger than my face. Well worth a visit just for the sheer spectacle, one slight note is you can put too much sauce on the burger

Me and my friend went to this place last day. It was an amazing experience overall. The young girl at counter “Manpreet” really knows how to handle customers. Since it’s our first time at Bun Squad she helped us to choose the best. My friend had allergy, but the employees knows their job well and did the required alterations. Food we received was also amazing. Enjoyed each bite. Thanks for Bun Squad and Manpreet for making our evening special.

Great place for burgers and loaded fries, just what High wycombe needed. Been here a few times now and it is always worth the trip. Restaurant is always clean and food is always on point. Great customer service especially the owner and his Mrs who ask how we are and if the food is ok.

Customer service was spot on welcomed with a lovely smile by the hijabi girl at the front really makes you want to come back… As soon as we walked in we noticed how clean the place was being so ocd this was definitely 5 stars for me Again the lady who took our order was such a lovely girl and hope this is noticed ♥️

Honestly I’ve been here three times. The food is amazing. I love the burgers and chips. However, the staff member, women, hijabi isn’t friendly she has attitude, the first time she was nice but the last two times she seems moody But she rudely asked if I was going to sit in or not and then I told her I was, when it was time to collect my food she said I already did it as a “take away though” like seriously.. I was clearly seated meaning I would be eating in.. it’s fine for a bit of a mistake happens, but she just doesn’t seem pleasant to speak to. - I get it can be draining etc. The manager is nice, The food is good. I would just say a friendly environment is what brings the customers in.

Me and the Mrs were looking for a bite to eat and had been here before and thought we’d give it another go because it wasn’t bad when we went the first time , this time however we ordered loaded fries and a couple of burgers , I forgot to ask for the tomato’s to be removed and so lifted the bun to remove it and to my surprise I found a spiders leg , I told the manager and he tried to tell me that it a string of lettuce even though it clearly had a hinge in the middle obviously showing that it was a spiders leg , although they offered to cook another burger for me I was disgusted and disappointed when they lied to my face as if I don’t know what I’m looking at and didn’t even have the common decency to say sorry . Absolutely appalling behaviour will not dine here again.

I've dined in and ordered takeout from there several times, and the food consistently impresses. The interior is nicely designed, creating a great atmosphere, and the service is always great. While the prices are higher than the local average, the quality and freshness of the food justifies the cost. Definitely the best burgers in town!

I have had a lot of burgers in my life and had the best burger at Bun Squad. It was amazing and was cooked perfectly with lovely hot fries . Everything with fresh, the sauces full of real flavour , the bun was soft and the burger was made from high quality meat . Just melted in your mouth . The atmosphere was fantastic staff were lovely . The concept and design was really nice to have amazing food and would also recommend to watch football on match days . Will be driving from London to bun squad to have the best burger. All the food was fresh and tasty .

Travelled half an hour to see what the hype was about, glad I did because it was the best burger I’ve ever had! I thought the prices for a burger (£8-£9) was abit high but when I saw the burger I understood why! It was so big and full of flavours, worth the money for sure! Craving it again already, deffo the best burger spot in Wycombe and surrounding areas! Can’t wait to come back and try other food. — One con I would say is, to have a variety of fizzy cans rather then the ones that support genoci*e.

Food, Venue, Staff is all good, but the manager is too strict. Saw him screaming at one of the lady workers outside the shop. I felt bad then didn't eat. Everything is good apart from the managers. EDIT: Hi, Im not sure when exactly I saw this incident but it was last year and it was near 4pm, it was the man on your tiktok page shouting at the hijabi (on your tiktok as well). He was shouting at her for something like her talking with her co-workers normally and acting like your at home. I recently haven't seen her so if she has been fired, bring her back because she unlike the other workers has a cool vibe to the customers. Also, I was there recently and the whole time I was there the manager was just talking to a woman stranger rather than doind what he's supposed to.

Best Burger/Wings/loaded fries restaurant in High Wycombe. The service and food was first class as always! The kids loved their hotdogs and I didn't know what to order as usuall. So I went for wings and chicken loaded fries! So dam tasty and that sauce!!! Ate all my food, washed my hands and beard in a very clean toilet and left with a super full and satisfied tummy 👌👌👍👍😋😋🔥🔥

I ordered the Dynamite Dunk as a meal, and it was absolutely delicious. Chicken is fresh, crispy and full of flavour and the burger had all sorts of toppings which added to the burger, and everything combined just tasted amazing. Definitely one of the best, if not the best burger I have had. For the first time ever coming to Bun Squad, my experience was great. With a clean modern interior inside the shop to the friendly staff who took my order. The order itself did take a while to make, but that is understandable since i went during a busy time period and the food is made fresh to order. I paid just shy of £12 for my order and although that isn’t cheap, I believe the price is justified as the food really does speak for itself, it is just that good. Overall a wonderful experience and a tasty meal, I would definitely recommend people trying out you guys and i’ll definitely be back!

Great burger but can’t say the same for the service. The girls working behind the counter and kitchen did not recognize my presence for three minutes and I was the only person in the restaurant. The person behind the counter walked up after the chat with her friend and did not greet me (simple customer service). Then as I waited for my food I watched her handle food, in between texting on her phone. To me it is just simple thing that when one walks into a place of business, someone greets you and is more concerned about the customer than her phone. I was very pleased with the burger I ordered. Excellent cheese burger! As asked in a reply, I was in Bun Squad on Sunday the 7th of April, at about 1300-1330ish.

I went here last night just on the off chance before a theatre. Honestly best decision. Food is seriously good. Portion size is great and the taste is 10/10 and quite affordable. I spent roughly £27 for two people for two burgers, two fries and two drinks. It was very busy with all the take out orders, but I wasn't waiting long for my food. All the options can be ordered in wrap or burger or beef or chicken, which is a really good concept. They even have two screens that play football. So I got to watch some bundesliga action while eating some wonderful food! If I'm ever around HW again, I would definitely pay them another visit.

Ordered the food at 18:15 and it came at 20:05. Waiting over an hour and a half for food delivery is unacceptable and I was told that it would be around 40 mins on the app. As a result of being extremely late the chips were soggy and burger dry probably due to being under a heat source to keep it warm. I was understandably annoyed and upset by this. I would like compensation for this poor service.

Late delivery by 30 mins comoared to pre-order estimate, 10 mins comoared to time estimate after order, still in preparation at delivery estimate time. Fries cold, onion rings cold, burgers slightly warm. Flavours would have been good if hot on delivery.

Our new go-to place for burgers. The chicken tenders are next level, wonderfully seasoned and always crispy. Everything's always cooked fresh and hot, but packed carefully and labelled. Special requests like sauce on the side or adding a topping are always remembered. Can't speak on the atmosphere as we always order for takeout but the dining area is always clean and welcoming, and the staff are great. We'll be back!

Went to bun squad in high wycombe Food arrived and the chicken in the burger was cold, lettuce was off and all black, dirty toilet with no tissues, the woman at the till too noisy and the staff were yelling and laughing so loud, the doors open and don't even close we sat to eat and had to kept getting up to close the doors as it was cold !! First and last time going there!! The staff need to learn some customer service skills!!

Had a very bad experience at Bun Squad. Was given a vegan pattie. Please avoid.

We had a group of kids that came after bowling. They loved the burgers and the lovely young woman on service sorted out lots of details that made them feel at home. I had a the Hoop burger to go and had it at home and even cold it was delicious. Cooked perfectly and great flavours. We will be back as a family and I’ll go alone for a cheeky burger while they are at the shops.

Travelled from Oxford only to try bun squad. Wasn’t disappointed at all but the complete opposite. Friendly and polite on the phone taking the order. Straight to the burger and wings I got absolute 10/10. I got the hot wings which is a nice slow burner with great flavour. The burger was the fiery squad burger which was just an over load of flavours! Deffo will be back up soon!

Always cooked well and tastes good

It is alright, but I think they need to have more than toilet for each genders. If there is a leftover, I would personally want to take it rather than put in the bin.

Bun Squad has simply fantastic food, well priced and a straightforward menu! This restaurant has the potential to be a local burger hero and I would thoroughly recommend giving them a go, what a great lunch! Points to improve upon would be comfortable temperature in the service area and fixing the front door closer.

Honestly, a decent place to eat. Though I'm still holding a grudge regarding their opening day. We waited outside for an hour just for the workers to tell us and the rest waiting a certain "celebrity" had VIP access to cut the line. We thought maybe Imran Khan or possibly a local star like done Waki but Nope. He was so unknown, we heard muttering saying "sooo.. when's the celebrity coming?" As the celebrity was walking into bunsquad. You'd think money gives you power and influence but Nope, it gives you the ability to cut the lines of a high Wycombe takeaway. A takeaway on the same road where the most uttered phrased is "do you have any spare change?". That's not a flex. Really felt like the bum squad that day. Apart from that, solid.
