Bulls Head Glossop in High Peak

Only stopped for Sunday lunch......and what a Sunday lunch!! Beef not overcooked , lovely roast potatoes and the best gravy I have ever had!

Great pub food and impressive selection of authentic tapas dishes for something different.

Lovely friendly country style pub. Had the mixed meat Sunday roast dinner. Cooked to perfection and up there with one of the best Sunday dinners I've tasted. Dog friendly too.

Went for late lunch and had one of their sunday roast options and the fish and chips. It's well priced, HUGE PORTIONS, best go when you know you're ready to eat, great service, clean and friendly staff. There's also a parking ground and street parking available nearby (if you're lucky), albeit the streets are quite tight. But overall would recommend and if I'm in the area again would definitely go.

POOR COMMUNICATION I BOOKED IT FOR NEXT MONTH. I MULTIPLE EMAIL TO CANCEL . BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE. I call the business, I was advised to e-mail. NO ONE RESPOND Still no response despite IT IS more than 10 days to my booked room. AVOID AVOID

Very poor customer service food was very poor vegetables was very over cooked and Yorkshire pudding was undercooked, for the price of the food it was so poor. Salad was a abit of cucumber tomato and lettuce. Was nothing polite about the the staff was very rude and unwelcoming, wine tasted gone off Won’t be attending again ashame as it’s a lovely location

Brilliant pub in old glossop, great quality Sunday lunch

Amazing food and atmosphere. A wonderful pub with the best tapas I have had outside of Spain. Edited we went the other night and the tapas was not half as good. The ribs were lovely as usual but the cod and the prawns both tasted reheated rather than fresh like last time. I wonder if they have a different chef on certain nights which affects the quality as the food is either incredible or poor. There is never an in-between.

Love this little pub, it's very olde Worlde. Heard a rumour it also has one of the oldest rooms within Old Glossop too. I went with my daughters tonight and they were asking the bar staff if there's any ghosts... if you're a paranormal investigator you won't be disappointed! Staff are really friendly and drinks are all nice. Atmosphere is great!

Lovely historical pub for a drink or two!

1st visit and it was a great find. Friendly pub with a nice atmosphere. Dogs and well behaved children allowed. We had not long come off High Peak and the food was tasty and welcome. They have rooms, so might stay next time I come to the Peak District 👍
