Went with friends last night and the food was 1st class staf great most definitely coming back

Went here for a family get together, liked having a round table made it easier for everyone to chat. Really tasty food, my balti was one of the best I've had. Friendly and attentive staff. I'd definitely recommend this place.

The best curry house and the one we always go back to. Tried many others nearby and far away but none ever match up. Always fresh food, friendly and fast service and very well priced. Takeaway also good.

I tried to book online but the booking never went through. I phoned to confirm to booking to find it hand not gone through, so I booked over phone. On arrival we were seated. It felt very cramped and very close to the party on the next table. The staff would not leave us alone and were rushing us to order drinks, then to place to order our food as soon as the menus had been put infront of us Once the food arrived it was nice. The atmosphere was very loud and booming, there was very little space between the tables, we found we were having to shout to each other with the noise around us. The waiters kept bumping into my husband chair. It generally wasn’t an enjoyable experience and want be going back again. Especially as I became poorly after visiting.

Never faulters! I've long thought that a Ruchi curry is the nicest I've had by far, no surprise that they won the national curry award. Such a privilege to have this on our doorstep.

After a long drive up from bedfordshire we arrived in Glossop. Decided to go for an Indian, amd what perfection. Big john was our waiter, and offered what was best. I ordered chicken naga, and Lamb balti sharn with Garlic onion rice. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING,

Really disappointing visit. Not one to leave reviews but I feel like I need to leave my feedback. Came out for a treat with my Mum as we don't eat out much. As it was a Tuesday the restaurant wasn't busy, yet seemed overly staffed and while the staff were attentive, the experience felt very clinical and regimented rather then friendly and welcoming. We ordered our food, 1 poppadom each and the tray of sauces, which came to £4.90 which I found pricey considering we had 1 each. We had a curry each and a rice each and shared a bread, food was delicious however the portions were very small, we are both slim people and struggle to finish most meals, before our food came we added chips onto the order (while we know it's not an Indian dish) we just fancied them. Our curries arrived, and as we ordered the chips later we knew they wouldn't arrive at the same time. We finished but the chips never came. The plates were cleared by one waiter and a dessert menu put heavily ont he table straight away. We felt very rushed, even though the restaurant was practically empty. It wasn't a welcoming atmosphere. When we asked for the bill the chips had been definitely added to the bill sis r asked for that to be removed as we didn't receive them. When leaving we said bye and thank you to the group of people at the bar at the front of the restaurant and was ignored. We spoke about this after (myself and my mum) there is no way they saw us walk past them and didn't hear us. So we felt so embarrassed. Not sure why we didn't get a bye and thank you back. We spent £50 which is pricey compared to most places considering I had a coke as a non drinker and my mum had 1 lager. We both said we won't return after being ignored on leaving. Such a shame, and considering the current climate we felt regretful of spending our money here for such an unwelcoming environment. The food was delicious too, but we left feeling hungry after a main meal, we didn't get starters as we hate to waste food and a main meal is usually suffice.

Always have a good experience here. The food is of good quality and well presented, the interior is pleasant and well laid out. I particularly like the seating in niches with soft benches. The service is very attentive and professional. A cut above the average.

Tried to order a takeaway for delivery as gave eaten in and all good! So listed all food and it came to just under £50 then offered card details and they said cash only on delivery so had to cancel ! Tax evasion!!?? Not happy

The service here is always excellent as is the food, the waters are very knowledgeable and offer advice on what to try according to your tastes, everyone loves the chicken chatt especially my lady and me, their the best Indian restaurant so bear in mind their food and service can be quite addictable

Made room for our large party. Pleasant atmosphere, the food was ok, I'd expected something more after reading of the award winning but it was just the same for me as others I've used which were also cheaper! Food quality was good and the food ok. Cola from bottles at a premium price was disappointing, as a non drinker Great service and friendly. Thank you for a pleasant evening.

Ordered food for delivery stated an hour, that’s ok but when the food came, cold, tasteless, rubbery poppadoms, rubbery chicken. Everything soaked in red food colouring. Obviously not freshly cooked. Didn’t even taste like Indian food. Many times ate in the restaurant but takeaway food is completely different. Won’t be ordering again , also never known sweetcorn served in vegetable curry sauce for a biryani.

We went on the mid seating on New Year’s Eve. What a fabulous place this is! Well organised,very efficient,served with a smile and nothing too much trouble! Fantastic! This was probably their busiest night but the service was amazing! This place is a must for great Indian food! We will definitely be making this our regular treat from now on.

We had an our Christmas meal for work here last night. The food was very very good, it rates as the with the best I have had and most of tue group agreed. The only negatives were, not being able to order popadoms before the food order. I don't understand why it was not possible. One of the waiters asked us to pass him every plate when he was clearing the table. Surly this is not our job. All in all a great evening with fantastic food.

Service brusk. Vegetable main course very small in comparison to the sizzling chicken. Food average in taste and not hot (except the chicken).

Incredible! Service was amazing, staff were wonderful and food was beyond good. The only drawback is that, since it is a 10/10 spot, it can get *busy*, and a little noisy at peak times. But so great, would always recommend!

My Naga curry was really tasty & hot. Service was good but a little rushed, it was Saturday night and they were busy. Nice big Venu. Would have given five stars but the curry portions are small, Ave also noticed this when you get a takeaway half full. Curry is expensive now, so people don't want to open their take out to find it half full of sauce, that's why we buy curry..The sauce😳

Ordered takeaway for 5 people, around 10 different currys on the menu and spend almost 100£ and every single dish had just no flavour at all. I have never tasted such a bland food in my life. Not recommended at all

Lovely food and good customer service. The food was that nice I went back the next day and tried something different. Had a chilli massalla and it was flavoursome and hot and my son had the tikka massalla which he loved.Pricewise you can't complain as you get discount if you pick up. Would definitely be my choice of Indian if I ever visit glossop again.

Ambience was good. But biryani is not Indian style. Naan rotti with chicken butter masala was awesome.

I’ve been really disappointed with our takeaways on the last couple of occasions. The chips were rock hard as though they were reheated from the restaurant the night before. Almost inedible actually. The chicken was also chewy again, as though it had been reheated. The first couple of takeaways we had from here were really nice, which led us back there, but lately something is very lacking.

Had something different than we usually would. The food was excellent, asked staff if we could have a 15 minute break between starter and main, very obliging. Highly recommended

Firm favourite in our house for a cheeky Indian. We collect and if you can’t park on the front use the carpark to rear but remember to put your reg in the machine to left of counter even if only there a short period I believe many have had tickets. Guys always friendly when I collect would highly recommend

pretty quiet mid week . B4 7pm friendly staff .quick service . food was luke warm chicken drumsticks & Lamb. the Tandoori Banquet .we had to send bk . Twice Staff were apologetic. & removed it off are Bill as we had not eaten it . 👍 but the visit . 1 month B4 .was ( 5,⭐) quiet disappointed last week meal. .as we.also pre-booked for Xmas Day. 2022.

Great food and the staff are really friendly

First take away for Rushi was brilliant. Always used to go to Taj Balti (a couple doors down) but was more and more bland and disappointing. Rushi was a refreshing change with excellent tasting curries as well as very good customised curry. will definitely return

This place is a real gem! Wonderful dishes that are unique to this restaurant, and staff that are genuinely helpful and friendly, with a good sense of humour too. Highly recommended.

Busy Saturday 7pm, not too long to wait, poppadoms served quite quickly before starters. I do not recommend the spicy poppadoms however. Go for plain! Main meals delivered quickly. Great food and polite service however it is very very loud in there (not the music just the atmosphere of alot of people) I would recommend sitting in a booth as opposed to a central table.

We have just picked up our telephone order.its only 6 pm.. what a shambles.we ordered 4 poppadoms with a pickle tray.lamb tikka masala.with fried rice chips and garlic naan.we came home to find two plain rice chips chicken tikka masala no pickles tons of popperdom. Wrong meal cold two Nan's only ordered one.we have come here for a valentine's break . supposed to be a special takeaway in our rented cottage.. Will never use them ever again.if they can't get it right hour into service.they Don't deserve to be open we rang them stating everything .but wasn't interested.terrlble plus we stupidity tipped them £25.00.but was£21.00...shame on you

Me and husband visited here 11/2/22 as we were having a few days stopover in Glossop. All I can say is the food was absolutely bloody delicious my husband says his food was the best he had ever had and coming from South Shields where we have more or less the best Indian restaurants in the North East this is saying something . The restaurant it self was beautiful and the staff most welcoming and very lovely. If we ever come back to Glossop we will definitely pay another visit. 10/10

Mega, best Indian around, you won't be disappointed

Went for Christmas Day lunch. My husband had the Indian menu which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the traditional turkey menu and I was absolutely disgusted. I honestly could not say what the meat was but it certainly wasn't turkey it was processed meat of some description. I could not eat it and they did bring me a chicken korma which I have to say was delicious. So my advice is do not go to an Indian restaurant for anything other than Indian food.

Went here for for dinner with the folks and was pleasantly surprised. It's a very covid friendly place with excellent seating arrangements offering privacy. It's also very cosy, warm and offers attentive and highly effective waiting staff. The food was also of a high-standard with a wide-range of dishes to choose from. A real northern England Indian cuisine experience. Would come here again for sure as all guests were very happy with their meals.

Quite frantic. Staff rather over efficient it created an almost rush-hour feel. Very little calm around. Yes it was very busy. But getting the balance of busyness with calm, quiet & personable is, essential to customers & when dining out. People go out to get away from the day to day rush hour, be it on the roads, at work, or just life in general. Sure is a challenge, but needs to be discussed between owners & waiters & put into practice ASAP . The food was good. My fish mosala, waa lacking something, wasn't sure what exactly, yet it was very nice. Rice for 3£ ish was very very minimal!! The dhal again was very minimal & luke warm! Would I go again.? . when they've learnt to get that rush hour calmed. When doubled a serving of rice & re-arranged the tables away from the pathway directly to the kitchens. (The speed those food trolleys came out, was alarming. I didn't feel safe & felt in the way if I sat that side of the table, scared hot food or a dirty plate would land on me. My friend & I sat just on one side facing what we called the M6..) Plenty opposition in Glossop nowadays so I hope the owner considers & acts on the points I've raised here. My friend enjoyed her chicken tikka skewers. Best of luck.

Was more like a sweet and sour Chinese than curry, friends also said theirs was too sweet. Was a nice night out with friends but the curry was very average. Free parking around the back but I won't be going back as their are many many tastier places.
