Buffet Club Restaurant in Liverpool

Well with liverpool on tier two hope to see restaurant open again as had been lots of times with my friends prices were allways good,they run a take away service with the covid close down,but now its tier two and open again I hope Derek moores, do try it you will be pleased 😀 👍 🎅

Cracking all you can eat Chinese restaurant food very good and staff very friendly had my very nice fill and will go back again,covid rules on the ball Derek 👍🇬🇧✔

Really lovely food, it was really busy so service to get drinks was a little slow, but the food was lovely especially the hot and sour soup!!! Will defo be returning here prices are reasonable too

yes there are bigger chinese buffets in Liverpool, but this is the best, sui mai and deep fried sui mai are sublime, the chicken skewers are the best weve had, all meals are tasty and replenished by friendly staff and management, well priced too

Had a meal most of the chicken dishes tasted the same.. ribs dry..chips gor the kid were dry old? .. got there at 5pm so should have been fresh.Then chicken and sweetcorn soup was tasteless had to add loads of soy to get a flavour...The waiter seemed fed up being there.. All in all couldn't wait to get out of the place never again....

Me and hubby go this buffet when we fancy eating out. I'm not a buffet fan as a rule they always seem to make me ill. But can honestly say I've never been ill yet eating here. There isn't much choice and its same dishes each time but that doesn't bother me

The food tasted like cardboard and the prices are not worth what the variety off food there You have 2 tiny heaters cramped off food which is freezing cold and the staff just through the food instead off gently putting it in so the food doesn’t fall to bits The staff in the buffet just shout at you and say sit there now they don’t even say plz off have a bit off consideration off I was you I will go to THE BON PAN ASIAN it is well worth the money and the same price but there is more choice and it is more kid friendly in the buffet club there is know food Whitch the kids can really have like nuggets and chips sausages they only have chips I am not going back there again

Went for first time August 1st and was impressed by everything. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean. And food is exceptional all well cooked and a good choice of starters mains and desserts. Can see us returning again and again left totally stuffed . Would recommend 100%.

We visited here this afternoon for late lunch and it was really nice. The food was pretty tasty to say it was a buffet restaurant. There wasn’t all that much choice of dishes but the dishes that was available was really nice. I would recommend the peking ribs and the crispy chilli chicken! Reasonably priced too,it came to £20 for two adults and two large drinks. Whilst we was there the waiter had to deal with two separate incidents, one was a drunken person off the street who wandered in and the other was a family who moved tables after each course of food they ate 🙈 despite all this he still kept a smile on his face and his attitude didn’t change! Well done 👏 I will definitely return here.

After an arduous morning in the Slupsky research laboratory we felt a new team building exercise was necessary, to further aid communication and morale. We made the strenuous journey of 800 metres to the golden doors of buffet club, upon entry we were greeted by staff with the most enthusiastic of smiles and shown to our cushioned thrones. With haste the table left for the starter buffet stand and were pleasantly surprised at the spread, only 6 starters were advertised on the website however, it felt like 7, image our pleasure! The beige platter that was laid out before us can only be described as a deep fried delicacy just waiting for us to devour it with our eager mouths. The starters, not quite quenching our appetites left us wanting more and with swift momentum we scurried over to the main course stand. Watering from the mouth and belly (wish we hadn't filled up on the starters now) our delight cannot be met with words, the mains tasted even better than the starters, which we had not thought possible. The chicken construct resembled the Gordian knot in both appearance and texture. After 30 minutes of chewing and with the jawline of Alexander himself we advanced on to the iciest of creams. We delved face first into the glacial divines (like my boy scourge McDuck) which many in our group described as being colder than the frozen lakes of Cocytus. Unable to move we remained, quite transfixed upon our plates. As we grew fat in our dotage it soon became Kimpossible to move. Easy to say the team was impressed as a whole and we trudged back to our slumber Safe to say we will be back! Genuinely though if you're reading this it was brilliant. Very good food. Not the widest selection but tasty and well kept. We arrived mid afternoon on our first visit and were very pleasantly surprised.

Avery reasonably priced eat as much as you like Chinese buffet. Very near city center and usual range of dishes. When we visited which was mid-afternoon, some food had run out but it was quickly replenished with fresh food. Place was very clean and we could see into food preparation area - always a good sign. We would certainly visit again next time in Liverpool.

I was here with my sister for lunch and we found it so good, we returned again with my mum. We came for dinner and the choices weren't much different from the lunch options. The prawns were not replaced for a while even after pointing it out to them. I would return only for lunch as you get better value

Went today after reading the reviews on here and am made up I did. Absolutely the best all you can eat I’ve ever been to. The restaurant is spotless and nice and plenty of room between tables.The staff were so friendly, tables were cleaned quickly and drinks were brought quickly. There was loads of choice of food and it was all so fresh and hot. Even my daughter cleared 2 plates and 3 ice creams and 3 oranges which were lovely and juicy and she normally never eats because she’s so fussy. My only complaint is with me for being so greedy I stuffed myself with starters so couldn’t finish my my main because I was so full. The starters were amazing especially the chicken toast and chicken wings. It was so cheap as well it was £17 for both of us with 2 drinks and when I left I left about £5 tip and the waiter was really grateful. I’m going back in 2 weeks and bringing my sister with me as well and as I live on the Wirral and don’t drive I have to get 2 buses to get there but it’s totally worth it. That should give you an idea of how good this place is. Thanks to the staff for a beautiful meal in a lovely environment.

There was two different types of steaming hot soup and a dozen or so of things like prawn toasts, salt and pepper wings and spring rolls. The main courses were various chicken and pork dishes, I would like to have seen some beef dishes but there was plenty of rice, noodle as well. Apart from ice cream there was also fresh fruit and tinned fruit. Drinks were of a reasonable price.

This was our 2nd visit to the buffetclub and we were not disappointed...we were greeted by the boss who actually remembered us..

Pequeña selección de comida tibia, agua servida en vasos de plástico. El personal grosero en especial el gerente masculino. Me quejé de que el helado sabía a químicos y se acercó y me dijo que había llamado al ingeniero y que estaba esperando a que viniera. Continuó diciendo que es seguro comer. Le dije que posiblemente no podía comerlo si lo probaba, él respondió que a algunos les gusta que otros no lo hagan. ¡Cuando un cliente dice que es diferente a otro, su consejo sería si no te gusta que no lo coma! Me alegro de haberlo probado antes que los niños, pero puedes imaginar lo molestos que estaban cuando les dije que no podían. Gran fin de semana en Liverpool, pero sin duda la peor comida para acabar! Si amas a un chino como nosotros, ¡este no es el lugar para ti!

en Liverpool no encontrará un buffet chino que sirva mejor. Sí, hay otros que son más grandes, pero su tamaño es más grande, pero las comidas reales tal vez no, este restaurante está bien diseñado, hay muchos platos, hay Las comidas en tres filas y no solo la que gira en un círculo como las demás, la sal y pimienta sui mai en el gran buffet son sublimes, el personal es muy agradable y siempre acogedor. Lo recomiendo totalmente.

we went on Saturday lunchtime, staff are so nice, food is sublime, and I noticed that there are more dishes, for example crispy pork in sweet chilli, chicken in blackbean, the staff are very attentive and always keep a close eye on the food area, which I like, drinks are well priced too, absolute cracking restaurant

Not impressed really. Same old buffet style cold food as son as it hitsthe plate. Choice same as always sweet n sour curry green pepper black bean. Would not choose to return here.

Llamado a almorzar después de ver los barcos de altura dejar el río Mersey. La calidad de la comida es mejor de lo que esperaba cuando lo comparo con otros todo lo que pueda comer lugares que he utilizado. £8.95 all you can eat - you get what you pay for. As much food as you want of medium quality, little variety and not much of a welcoming atmosphere at all - we walked in and were just told ‘sit wherever you want and help yourself’

Went here today with my boyfriend and it's about a 10 minute walk from the city centre and it was so so nice. The food is absolute quality, as the title states, and there is a fair amount of variety within it. It is such good value for money as we paid £6.95 each for an all-you-can-eat lunch which was so worth it and the staff working there were also lovely. We will definitely be returning!

so we tried evening menu, as we normally have afternoon one, must say the addition of duck, pancakes, hoisin, cucumber and spring onion is excellent, then sui mai on the starters, cooked to perfection, whether you opt for afternoon or evening you wont be disappointed, excellent Chinese buffet, nice staff

Went here for lunch with work colleagues as a leaving lunch. The food was your normal chinese menu choices and lots of choice. Various starters snd main meals and a good choice of desserts too. My only complaint is it was cold.

Myself my partner and two children have just been, the food was of poor quality compared to other buffet style restaurants we have been to in Liverpool and the selection was very limited, the price was reasonable and the restaurant looked clean, I didn't use the toilet but my partner did and said they were terrible so never used them, we will not be returning.

Decided to come here as wanted something handy to eat, and judging by the great reviews we made our way to here . We were hugely in shock when we arrived as it was called 'best Buffet in liverpool' and many other positive things but this could not possibly have been the case ! Really was one of the worst buffets we have been to and didn't want to get up and leave as felt cheeky so forced ourselves to eat something. Curry is not nice in the slightest and a rather small selection for a buffet . Save your money and go else where. Bar man was very nice though.

This is a great place to go if you like Chinese food and you are hungry. As the place is always busy, the dishes are regularly replaced. There's a great selection of food. They even have Mr. Whippy Ice Cream !!!

I can't think of any major complaints about the place but then I can't think of any major compliments either. The restaurant was clean and bright and I saw staff take their own meals from the buffet which I thought was a good sign. The food was nice but I felt there were not enough vegetables. I went with a vegetarian who had little choice but I eat meat. The meat dishes seemed to lack any vegetables too. It's a shame because, as I said, it tastes nice but just felt a bit unbalanced.

only place to go for chinese buffet, it may not be in the centre of Liverpool, but that doesn't matter, as the food makes up for it, and there is a real good ncp car park behind the restaurant

Have been here numerous times over the years and have recommended this restaurant to others too. Never had any complaints, food is well stocked, always hot, and lovely. Staff pleasant always and attentive. Very reasonable prices for both daytime and evening buffets.

Brilliant place to eat, enough choice for us and even chips for our son. Will definitely be going again. Loved the duck and chicken in black bean sauce. The prawns are big too. Recommend to anyone who would like a Chinese.

Not a bad place to eat ,choice is a bit smallish but the food it self is good quality. The prawns were massive and the mr whippy ice cream all in all not a bad place for a quick buffet.

We booked this restaurant based on the generous reviews on this site, and we were very glad we did. based on appearances alone we probably wouldn't have eaten here, there is nothing particularly wrong with the appearance but it doesn't stand out at all. the waiting and bar staff were all very friendly and attentive. the food was all cooked well and tasty, everyone in our party agreed that the chicken skewers were the best cooked chicken we have ever encountered. there isn't the biggest selection of food available, but the quality more than makes up for this. The drinks are incredibly well priced.

Came here on a Saturday evening, and was a bit unsure to begin, as the décor looked quite student, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The staff are friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Not a huge choice, but it was all tasty and hot. The drinks are a good price too, so it is not expensive. Well worth a visit.

A great resturant offering excellent buffet food. This is no ordinary buffet!!!I don't usually like a buffet, as I always think of warm food, sitting on a hot plate for hours. However, this is buffet with a difference! A great choice of dishes, pipping hot, regularly refreshed. The servicing trays are shallow, which ensures that the food is regularly replenished and fresh.I love that you can see the kitchen - all very professional and clean.The prawn dish was gorgeous as was the char-sui pork. The chilli chicken was a firm favourite too.The resturant is clean and bright, the staff are super attentive. The price is brilliant £8.95 for an evening visit. Even cheaper during the day! Great value.Don't be put-off thinking it is a buffet, as this is definately not your standard all-you-eat -deal. Highly recommend

Regularly eat in this friendly, efficient establishment.Food is fresh and always tasty with a wide selection of dishes, including a range of starters and even desserts (if you have room)!The standard of Chinese food is great any time you go, but I have also recently eaten from the evening buffet which is just slightly more expensive, but serves the most amazing crispy duck and pancakes!!!Drinks are reasonably priced, used plates are quickly removed from your table and staff always customer focused.This place is great value for money, you just need to be careful not to induce a lunchtime food coma, as the food is so nice, and more often than not I am returning to work for the afternoon (but would much rather have a snooze)!!!!

We've been to many Chinese buffets and the reviews we read on this place did not disappoint us... like other people have said it quality over quantity.. clean restaurant, busy attentive staff, hot food replenished constantly and food areas constantly tidied. Plenty of choice for our fussy lot. Glad to see the duck available as it isnt always in buffets. Worked out at £13 a head for 8 of us to eat & drink. Not too bad at all. Def go back!

If your looking for a very large variety of food then its not for you. It does offer a small range of dishes for lunch that are great quality.

As the title says, try it, you'll love it, we've been coming here for quite some time, out little daughter will eat so much here, she loves it, oh and especially the real ice cream machine, for what you pay, then it's really good value for money and owners and staff are nice and always take your plates straight away, btw sweet chilli chicken is simply Devine, only a short distance from city centre and you wont regret it

Went here for work lunch. Service was quick and polite. Starters were ok although a bit random. Good variety of main chicken dishes including the usual sweet and sour, green pepper & black bean etc. Also had a couple of vegetarian options and plenty of rice/noodles/chips etc. Pudding was the highlight with DIY whippy ice cream, sauce, cake and fruit. Not exactly Michelin star food but good enough for lunch and I think they have greater range in the evening.

If you want the best Chinese in Liverpool.... this is the spot. It is a bit on the small side, but very relaxing.

First of all, I would like to say big thank you for the waiters as we were warmly welcomed and quickly served whenever we ordered drinks. As I'm working at hotel I know what I give for guests and finally I got it back once. :)Food was delicious and good value for money.Thank you, we will be back! Hopefully gonna get same service! :)

Myself and my partner went here for lunch on my 25th birthday on 23rd August. The Beijing beer they advertise wasn't available and they didn't have lime for a corona I had ordered. After only eating here as usually after buffets myself and my partner and full up for the day we both experiences sickness which after seeking medical advice was deemed we both had food poisoning. When emailing the restaurant to tell them about this incident I didn't hear back from them and have heard others have had issues of sickness from this very restaurant.

Depends what day you go, some times it's nice other times it really bad foods cold and service is shocking, the busier times are usually the best, fresh food coming out more often, not to bad if you are passing but I would go more into town better places there

Visited for lunch on Tuesday 16th August with my 4 year old daughter, I have so much praise for this place, quality food at excellent prices, clear plates from my daughter is a clear indication on how good this, the real ice cream machine is a delight with the fresh cakes

I've just read some of the reviews on her and would think I must have gone to a different place! After a very long day at the Royal, I went here with my sister, the place was empty, not much choice on the food and a lot of the dishes were almost empty, when we came to eat the food was cold, the lady came to remove the plates from the table a I said we hadn't eaten much of the food because it was cold, she smiled and walked away!! We had to ask for drinks other people arrived and were asked right away. The only saving grace was the ice cream machine ! the melon was not fresh the jelly was like water.When I paid I asked why I was paying for the evening menu when I'd obviously only had what was left of the daytime food and was greeted with a blank look and asked to put my pin in the machine! No reason no apology nothing.....just like the food so I'm sorry I can't agree with other comments on here. My advice stay well clear!

I think this is the best of oriental buffets in Liverpool. Food is not dripping with oil and its tastes really good. Interior is simple but who cares..we went there to eat not to watch the walls. Cheap simple fresh and clean.Nice staff and parking just around the corner.

Very friendly staff.. will atend to your needs with great customer service.. but felt a little let down by the food, I guess if you want quality you have to pay more..

Without a shadow of doubt buffet club is the best Chinese buffet in Liverpool, reasonably priced and always replenishing the food, we went yesterday and they had salt n pepper fish fillet which was very nice

Went here last week and its good for the price although when they run out of food sometimes they dont replace it and just say we have ran out which is dissapointing especially when its a simple thing like soup which there always seems to be a shortage of for some reason. Some of the staff are quite rude when you ask them for something they seem to act like your bothering them no matter what you ask them for. If these changes where made it could be so much better but until then its not a good atmosphere.

A nice place to go during lunch and dinner. It has great value for the amount of food you can eat. The drinks are standard soft drinks with Asian beers which was a nice surprise.The food is fresh and always plenty to take, i've been here 3 times and the staff have always been friendly and it's always been full.I would wish that when you walk into the restaurant there would be someone to greet and take you to the table, we are almost always just pointed and told to choose one which is a little let down but doesn't really affect much. Will go here again and again.

Love the different dishes to choose from, noodles, sweet sour dish, tiger prawns, soup ect. Nice staff, very popular and good value for money, the food is regularly kept full so there's always room for seconds.

This was the worst Chinese buffet ever. Tiny selection of food which doesn't look nice at all, hygiene standards don't seem high, didn't have hygiene rating on door so we were not surprised. Horrible disgusting dirty toilets! Overpriced for what it is!!!

we visiited on easter saturday, buffet is the best in Liverpool hands down, we havd been several times and enjoy it always, staff always replenishing food and always take your plates so you can go back up, so all in all empty plates as food was excellent and friendly service, totally recommend

This place is very handy if you are visiting the Royal Hospital .The food was tasty , was very well presented and with plenty of choice . Staff are very friendly without being overfussy . The 2 for 1 offer on the Chinese beer was very good value.

My fiancé and I stopped in here after a week of craving some authentic Chinese food. We went in for lunch. It was super clean and affordable (SO much cheaper compared to other buffets in the area). The food was great, but the selection could be better. I guess that's what I get for being American and being used to very large selections. However, in this case, it was more about quality than quantity. The price of soft drinks seemed a bit steep, too. But the food definitely filled me up! I am still drooling over the springrolls and char siu pork. And the ice cream was SO GOOD, along with the pineapple. I definitely would come here again. :)

Our first time visiting here but will definitely go again for affordable (£8.95 AYCE), quick & tasty Chinese food. The food was hot, plentiful in choice, replenished often and tasty. The restaurant was very busy with a mixture of large groups and couples. The tables were cleaned and turned around quickly. Staff were friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced. The only reasons for a rating of 4 and not 5 were that a few of the bowls at the service station were still a bit unclean & the desserts weren't great, but otherwise we would definitely recommend it! They also do a great value takeaway box at £6!

Me and my boyfriend often visit the buffet club and it is one of our favourite places to eat! We choose were we sit, ordering drinks is quick and they come quick and the food is to die for! The price tops it off as it is so cheap! Would definitely recommend the buffet club to anyone :)
