Good price, good food great place

Lovely, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. We had 2 Mega Breakfasts with coffee and toast/bread and butter. Large plates and well filled, food was hot with lovely coffee. Won't need to eat for the rest of the day!

Great place for food ..burgers chips I had and it was spot on..bacon double cheese burger...tasted well..chips good went dwn a treat ill go again..our friends were in too and the food .dinners etc were all good..staff were excellent...the owner was very polite and helpful...A++

Visited many times, friendly staff, well presented meals served to a good standard, catering for all ages. Good value for money and staff pay special attention to those who have small children or special needs. Looks a little dated on the outside, but the inside experience and hospitality more than makes up for it. Any issues or additional requests are dealt with quietly and quickly without making additional fuzz.

Very nice food and staff are friendly. Saturday morning was very busy and we waited fifteen minutes before our order was taken. Twice the wrong food was brought to the table and the cup of tea still had the teabag in it! No tartare sauce for the scampi and chips. I did think it was a tad expensive.

Order not excuted correctly This time order perfect just a slight mistake no problems food very nice and hot also tea red hot a perfect cuppa staff friendly and generally happy and staff eat at restraint so food is good presentation nice

Waiting for half an hour to be given an uncooked cheese toastie which had been prepared on a dirty grill. My little boy took a couple bites because he was so hungry, but it was completely inedible

Stökigt , arrogant ointresserad personal,väntade nästan en timme på maten som inte var vad jag beställde, min partner fick vänta ytterligare tio minuter på sin mat som för all del var vad hon beställde men inte varm.

I had a full English And I had the best bubble I’ve ever eaten .. the price was good Staff was friendly Establishment was very clean I will definitely go back again I even tipped which I rarely do unless it’s worth tipping as a whole , which it wholeheartedly was! Had a breakfast here, really friendly waitress who gave us a warm welcome. We ordered full English breakfasts for a very reasonable price and they were delicious. Would definately recommend and return. Thank you.

Small portions. Website says different prices as to in store. Was charged an extra £3. Food was good but not enough for a £15 kebab. I would'nt reccomend.

Can not praise this establishment enough . Having visited a few times now and tried some of their excellent breakfast's 'my own favourite the chef's special sausage egg bacon beans and bubble and squeak toast or bread n butter ' . The prices are very good and the staff are so polite and helpful . Would also recommend the Ham egg and chips £4.90

Popped for brunch, good service- friendly staff Reasonably priced and a good variety of meals offered plus hot drinks. Food was fresh hot and a place I have never been in before although a resident of Tendring. I would highly recommend a visit, I will definitely come in again. Drinks - Latte, cappuccino, and Tea served nice and hot Pleasant surprise

We came to this restaurant as a family of 5 and our food was not even edible. The food was tasteless , over cooked and the meat was not cooked properly.

Looks plain, but food and service excellent , and very clean.

Quality food friendly staff quick service

I am not vouching for anything other than the Excellent Milkshakes and 1/4LB’er with fried onions burger. The banana milkshake reminds me of the old wimpy/ starburgers thick ice cream shakes with the banana syrup. honestly one of the best milkshakes I have had in ages. 8.5/10 The quarter Pounder cheese burger was excellent aswell. Cooked on the old school cafe grill with fried onions a toasted bun and burger sauce. Again has the old school wimpy/ star burger style and taste. Solid 9/10. Heard it turns into a kebab shop at night so can imagine it’s a Jack of all but master of none type gaff. What I will say is the cafe food I got was old school classic British style that’s hard to find. I’d recommend a visit as I went twice during my stay visiting family at a nearby caravan park.

Loved in London which has plenty of great cafes moved to Essex & was struggling to find a decent cafe until I found this place..Little bit on expensive side but good food & great service it’s now my regular.

This was our favourite cafe for many years now I got the feeling couldn't care less. Several people already served when we went in order taken full meals were ordered 20 mins nothing other people came in and got their meals asked where ours were 4 of us oh sorry. 10mins later meals turned up not pleased won't be using again.

Was waiting for a while to actually get to order food... but it was worth the wait... Nice hot food..update 7th July.....take all that back...my wife very poorly after eating the liver yesterday... very bad stomach ache and on toilet lot....

Went to Clacton On Sea yesterday for the day out. Decided to go into the Buffalo Restaurant for a meal. It was the worst experience of my life. Firstly I was asked if I wanted a drink. I got a sparkling water. It was given to me in a dirty glass. I then ordered the "MEGA" Burger Meal. "Mega" burger? I would not feed it to a dog. I got a stale bun with the thinest burger inside and that's it. 5 onion rings, beans and a handful of chips. It was smaller than a childs portion. I complained and immediately the cook came out of the kitchen and began shouting at me. "What is wrong? You asked for the mega burger meal and you got it". I said, "Mega" burger meal. A stale bun and a single thin burger and a handfull of chips? He said I can give you another burger for an additional £3.00? I then said, "The chip portion is very small. Not an adults size, not even a childs size". The waitress then answered, "Most 'Decent' people that come in here like a small portion of chips but if you wanted more you should have asked?? Most 'DECENT' people?? Bad food and insults. The worst experience of my life. This place is stuck in the middle ages. They serve bad food and the service is terrible. I would NOT recommend this restaurant. From start to finish my experience was terrible.

Had cappuccino...which was lovely and hot...staff extremely friendly...nice experience...although we didn't eat..there were plenty of other diners and all seemed happy..meals looked good...and prices very reasonable..we will be going back

Hadn't visited this restaurant/cafe for a few years due to covid etc, always visited when in town and always enjoyed the food. Was looking forward to our visit. Staff are very friendly, although I would of liked some attention after food was served as I would of liked an additional drink but no waitress revisited us. Food was mixed my partner ordered gammon & chips which looked ok, daughter ordered lasagne which also looked good. What was disappointing was the burgers my son had the burger meal and I had the "mega burger meal" they were so disappointing. Both turned up as a pattie in a bun. No salad, no cheeses. Just a thin pattie. Not as per any pics on the menu. They reminded me of a rustlers microwave burger. So that was disappointing especially from a restaurant with the name "Buffalo" in it. We used to enjoy nice grilled kebabs here, not sure if under new management but the quality and choice has declined. We won't return here in future, we will try something different next time.

I personally would not go back to this place, the kebab meat was just fat and dry, very bland, overall very underwhelming.

Nice food but the ladies toilet doesn't have a very nice smell to them the Decorating is very poor and the tables are so sticky you can not touch them and the suger pots are clogged up with old suger ,we used to use buffalo quite often but sorry to say we won't be using them any more as these things let them down massively .

This is a really great place to eat. The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. All the staff are friendly. Lots of tables, well spread out for those weary of eating out in the current climate. This is my new "regular".

I have NEVER seen or had a problem with Buffalo. I ate there last month had a full meal which was very well presented, hot and not a long wait. It was a really good portion. I also used Buffalo today for breakfast and had a slight variant from the menu and it was no problem. Cleaning is always done and I certainly didn`t see any problems. I will be back

Great burger takeaway while on Holiday in Clacton. Having looked at various other places we were glad to have chosen Buffalo. Great food enjoyed by all of us. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

When there recently and was appalled. Ginger waiter with pig ring sitting on the counter where desserts are prepared picking his nose. We immediately canceled our desserts. Especially as he hadn't washed his hands. The ginger bed wetter then was extremely rude. Tendering Councils Environmental Health department has been informed

Ordered a mixed kebab, lamb shish & chicken shish! Theses guys know how to cook a shish kebab like professionals 👌 the lamb shish meat is fantastic quality and cooked to perfection, melts in your mouth. Its not chewy like other kebab places. This is quality meat, they tenderise it to perfection. The chicken shish is absolutely delicious aswel. You can order the salad in a separate box and sauce in a pot if you prefer. And not greasy atall. I've also had the lamb doner before and that is really nice aswel. Well done buffalo restaurant, ive tried loads of kebab places in clacton, and you are definitely number 1!!!! I will always order from buffalo in future. Very friendly delivery driver aswel and delivery always hot and on time. Thankyou

I have been here quite afew times and each time they have been lovely, very friendly. Portions are big but it's not all about big portions but quality and taste. The food tastes great and cooked correctly plus the shop is clean.

FAST, FRIENDLY SERVICE despite the lockdown restrictions with CLEAN, LIGHT and pleasant atmosphere. My wife just adored the food and friendly service.

Very good value and excellent burgers

I am currently in buffalo's the food is ok and the reason for my low score is because they mucked the order 2x my partner asked for egg chips and beans and got bacon instead of bean ( he don't eat pork) my 6 year old asked for scrambled egg chips and bean an got a sausage so both had to be taken back and this is not the first time it's happened, Every time we order from here for collection and they tell us a time to collect we are always waiting coz they forgot to do something, tonight I ordered a kids burger only to be told when I got there they don't do a kids burger but if I was sitting in they do, so had to wait around for something else, while the rest of the food is getting cold, they have your number when you call maybe next time call me and tell me you don't do a certain thing instead of having me wait while the rest of the good is getting cold, other than that the food is good

Used the cafe 3 times in the last week. Food always hot. The platters are just massive. The prices are very good cant beat it hygiene is very good. Only downfall at the moment their loos are out of order making them smell abit.
