Buffalo and Tabasco in Liverpool

Was just looking the place up to order again, can't get enough. This is my favourite place for burgers in Liverpool. My favourite is the beef brisket burger (messy hands and all). I've only ordered for delivery, and it's well worth every penny!

Came here with my son after school. Only wanted hallumi fries and a drink. This seemed to be a bit of a problem by the guy as he tutted. Overpriced miserable staff who obviously don't want to be there. Manners cost nothing. The hallumi fries and drink cost £7. Will never come here again. Avoid

Terrible customer service do not listen to customer needs and dietary requirements and food was freezing cold anyway

Gorgeous food. Very generous portions. However the service from Farouk is what stands out the most. Aways so kind and welcoming. Making us feel so welcome. Lovely lovely kind man. I’d recommend anyone to come here to eat in or get takeaway. You won’t be disappointed! We will be back soon. Thanks so much :):):)

Rude staff half the menu not available just a very bad experience!!

How is 1 super dry rib classed as half a rack of ribs? Genuinely thought I had stumbled on to a hidden gem, should have realised it was a halal nightmare when I asked for bacon to be told that they don’t do it! Avoid

Great burgers with crinkly fries. Maybe next time I'll go for the King Mo burger!

Not one for leaving bad reviews because times are hard but this was so poor, especially when you take into account the cost, over £40 for 2 meals with delivery. My partner got a burger which looked great, and he enjoyed it. I ordered the brisket wrap and 'loaded' nachos: the wrap was big eith plenty of meat but completely bland, no seasoning at all and any mayo had diluted and leaked out, I ate less than a third of it. The worst part was the loaded nachos - completely UNloaded, they were just plain tortilla chips, no sauce...£6 for the privilege when I genuinely would have been better buying a bag of Doritos. Granted, there were a few jalapeños in the box but probably could count them on one hand. Quick delivery but overall, so disappointing, do not recommend.

Unbelievable quality burgers great value

£40 to feed two. Burnt halloumi fries, microwaved veg, cold brisket. Absolutely disgusting to be serving that up at those prices. Hope they go bust.

Nice food but far too expensive these days. (Fair enough, it's good quality meat, but £15 for a sub, £10 for a burger £4 to add what are basically crinkle cut oven chips)

My friends organised my birthday party here and it was a great idea. The food is fabulous and worth every pound, tender meat and cooked to perfection . The staff was extremely helpful. We will definitely come again.

Amazingly fresh food, never disappoints. Service was great as they forgot one chicken when I rang they prepared it and added a nice fudge cake and ice cream as a sorry.

We love the food from here and have had many meals now and never had a bad one, I've just gone to order and the fries and drink option has gone from all the meals now so it looks like you have to buy individually, for the three sets of fries it's 15 quid extra, with no drinks so it's just gone far too expensive now, sad.

Paid £3.49 for a bottle of Cherry coke that wasn’t delivered with the order…( said the delivery man left it behind and the couldn’t redeliver it ) food was cold and tasteless , seriously don’t bother it took a hour also to be delivered….£30 odd quid wasted and the food binned…BOLLOCKS

My boyfriend and I got 2 meals from here last night 9 th October 2022. I had a classic burger meal that no burger omit except a load of sloppy horrible caramelised onions and don’t know what else and my boyfriend got Smokey brisket burger, both meals with chips. Absolute disgusting I was vomiting alnight nearly nearly £20 for both. First time there, never again 🥴🤮🤮🤮. We had take out so only seen I was burgerless when we got home. To far to take back and couldn’t get through on the phone.😡😡😡

Ordered burger, chips and a fudge cake for one person. Bill came to £27 I'd expect to pay that in a restaurant not a delivery. Don't be fooled by the £5 delivery charge they add on at the end. Food wasn't bad but not great either. Burger came in a box, no tin foil wrapping so was cold. Chips were nice. Cake was ok. Gave the poor review basically because of cost. Yes could of chosen to cancel it but couldn't be bothered lookin through just eat again

Delicious mushroom burger, really tasty, crunchy salad...the chips were yum too. Very impressed, definitely trying that again.

Had a takeaway delivery through just eat this evening. It arrived quicker than the estimated delivery time and the food was really good. My partner said hid was the best burger he's ever had. I had the falafel and houmous wrap which was also really tasty. Would definitely order from here again

Dirty food that had been left out to collect bacteria that gave me food poisoning I called up and they denied any manager Is there to speak to also buttoned the phone and now will Not answer back do not eat from here absolute vile dirty scruffy owners who have scruffy dirty people cooking and storing your food

01/05/2022 --- Went there today with my Fiancee to have something nice here as we come here a lot and spend a lot of money in here since I first visited taken friends there. I don't think I'll return, we walked straight out after THE RUDE fella behind the counter. I asked him what the LAMB SIZZLER was and he had a can't be arsed attitude and was very rude I to walk out as this fella made me angry and we were planning on spending £40+!!!!! Original Review 2021 ---------------------------------------- Wow, totally amazing double burger !!! OG Original, I really cannot believe such a high standard of burger from a take away perspective is in out city, we are lucky people :-). The standard of he burger was to that of "Red Dog Saloon". I'll be back soon with all my mates, amazing to have a great burger place that is not in the city centre.

Disappointed, I used to really enjoy the food from here when it first opened now they've let their standards slip. Chicken buger was shocking and tiny. Way overpriced this place is.

Such a shame. because the burgers were actually really really nice apart from being cold. A lovely lady did call me to let me know my order had been ready for a while (🙁) but there were no Deliveroo drivers available. Sweet potato fries were overdone, possibly tried to reheat?? Idk. The bread on the mushroom cheesy steak sub was so soggy... again probably due to being wrapped in foil and sat waiting for delivery driver. I chose this restaurant because its quite close to me and thought I'd get my order quickly and still hot. I'll be a returning customer to Buffalo and Tabasco but will visit in person and not use deliveroo.

Arrived today at 10.10pm to place a order as it states online they are open till 11pm. Went in and got refused a take out as the man said they have closed early today with two girls still working in the back. So went to holdi instead (next door) after our food we drove past buffalo Tabasco and it was still open at 10.45pm! With staff still standing on till (Don’t know why? In that 40 mins our food would have been done, taken home and even eaten! Shame lost a regular customer. Service during the day is great!

Should have read these reviews. What a mess! Ordered 2 halloumi (roasted peppers and caramelized onions) burger meal deals. Only one arrived. Naturally, I called the restaurant, a young girl said only one burger was paid for due to an error on the system with Deliveroo..... told me to put another order through!! Why they wouldn't just give the customer the two burgers and take it up with Deliveroo I don't know!! Anyway! Turned out the order did go through!! So ending up spending a fortune.... its beggers belive! The girl was like, we didn't have a contact number for you! Again, ring Deliveroo! Such bizarre logic! Thankfully Deliveroo said they'd refund me. Lastly, the burger was missing roasted peppers and caramelized onions instead had garlic mayo which we both hate! All in all a bit of a joke.

I ordered this evening and asked for an OG chicken burger with just lettuce. I got a Nashville burger which is extra hot and has cheese. I asked for a replacement of my burger which they reluctantly agreed to. The whole time I could hear the manager in the background giving out. When I asked were they also sending new chips so I could eat my meal altogether, I heard the manager shouting about how ‘they’re just looking for everything they can get out of us’. It was shockingly unprofessional and when the girl got back on the phone she told me the restaurant was now unable to even send a burger. She blamed it on lack of delivery drivers but I could hear the manager in the background shouting about ‘well now they can have nothing’. So he wouldn’t replace the order they got wrong out of pride and spite. I would never order again. I can’t believe that man was ever made a manager. I feel sorry for the staff of that restaurant

This place is monumental...best flavoured wings in the city and the brisket burger is the reason I'll never go veggie.

Not bad quality food but over priced for what it is.

Ordered through Uber. The order was wrong, we called they are the first company who haven’t sent us back to Uber. They young man on the phone was extremely polite. They were customer focused. To the food well priced tasty well portioned scran thank you we will order again soon

Orderd on Just Eat. First of all they lied to us about the 4 for 4 offer and then when our food did come it was disgusting and slimy. Staff have terrible attitude and refused to talk to me on the phone. Genuinely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm really shocked and a bit shaken by the whole experience. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Fantastic new Takeaway in Woolton. The food is something else. Definitely now my regular.

Really bad burger was undercooked with grease pouring off it. Chicken sizzler was burnt fries aren’t fries they are crinkle chips jalapeño poppers and halloumi fries burnt.

Not happy and rather disappointed with the food today. The chicken strips and onion rings were pretty much burnt and way over cooked. Literally tastes like eating burnt chicken, chips had no salt on them. Overall wasnt worth paying £13.99 to be eating burnt food.

Food was okay and a bit of a wait nice customer service from the girl serving though. Their chips taste like micro chips.

Ordered the king mo!!! Was cooked to perfection. Portion was huge, so much that I couldn't finish as in meat coma. Quality of chips lets them down a little. Staff are friendly

We have been twice since it opened. The chicken was divine. We got a whole chicken with rice and chips for £18 a lot less than what we pay in Nando’s. Tasted great too. We also got the lamb BBQ which was cooked to perfection. Service was lovely, they were keen to please customers. Definitely will be going again.

Went when this place 1st opened and ordered a chicken wrap and chips which was great. Went again today with work colleague after telling him how nice it was and was disappointed. I ordered cheeseburger meal with chips and received the smallest bag of chips imaginable. My friend order a beef brisket burger which looked nothing like whats advertised, asked for no salad and it came with salad. I also ordered some loaded Nachos which they'd forgotten so the guy quickly filled a box with Nachos and asked if I wanted cheese on top. Without sounding petty I didnt just want a box of Doritos for £6!! They only came with the cheese so not really loaded? Kinda expected some jalapeño, salsa etc etc.

I ordered the Nashville hot chicken burger with fries and a drink and the value for money is incredible. The team are lovely and polite and I will definitely be returning soon! 😎
