Warrington & Vale’s Training Restaurant is a stylish venue in which to enjoy a meal of the finest quality. We’ve eaten at many restaurants around the world, and many have not been so good. The small but impressive menu is professionally executed. We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious and beautifully presented 3 course lunch at a remarkably good price. Under the expert supervision of their course leaders, the young students prepare a variety of amazing dishes. The front of house team welcome their clientele with attentive and friendly service. As an added bonus, we bought their freshly-baked loaves and desserts to take away with us, so the pleasure will continue for some time yet! Well done to them all and good luck for their future careers. They’re certainly benefitting from a superb training.

My wife and I, and 2 good friends booked a lunchtime meal. The restaurant is bright and well ventilated. Service ,a little stilted, but friendly and attentive. The food, 3 courses for less than tenner was beautifully presented, hot and nourish. I'm not really into nouveu cuisine, but I'll make a big exception with Buckley's. A very enjoyable meal! Would definitely recommend !!!

We visite for lunch and from the moment we were met by one of the students and sat at the table to the coffee at the end it was a wonderful experience. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, both in presentation and taste. Second to none you would have thought we were in a first class London restaurant.

Our first visit to the restaurant. Warmly greeted by Thomas who was student in charge for the day. Pleasant ambience, prompt, efficient friendly service and faultless food. Really beautiful, and at such a reasonable price. The students were highly attentive and deserve to do well in the future in their chosen industry. The friendly tutor took time to talk to us, which was most interesting. We'll certainly be back-and soon! It is wise to check opening times before visiting as college learning schedules dictate the availability of the restaurant.

Well done, catering students. I was visiting speaker at Warrington Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship this evening, and you did us proud. Yes, the portions could have been a bit larger, but no-one went hungry. Excellent soup, tasty main course, and beautiful pudding. And just £10? What a lovely lot of people you are, fun to talk to, and friendly efficient service. I would certainly come again.

Went to Buckley's Restaurant on April 21st not knowing what to expect as it was the first time I had been. On arriving we were greeted by a student of the name of Russ, he showed us to our table and was very pleasant and polite. For my starter I had minted pea soup this was something I would not normally choose off a menu but I must say I throughly enjoyed it. My main dish was Pork Wellington on braised cabbage again this is something I would not normally choose but the Pork was really tender and moist, the flavours in the dish were really flavorful. Well done to who ever put this dish together. The sweets were a trio one Rhubarb crumble, trifle, and a Victoria sponge cake. My only criticism would be of the jelly on the trifle was a little bit chewy and the cake was a little dry. Their was a mix up when paying as they had put another tables drinks on our bill, unfortunately this took a long time to rectify. All in all though it was a very pleasant experience and would certainly recommend and go back. Thank You to all students concerned. Well Done!!!

A most enjoyable dining experience. The food was excellent and was served by friendly students. They are not very busy at this time of the year ( JANUARY) and were offering a 20 percent discount. We are looking forward to our next visit, even paying the full price represents great value money.

Recently had two lunch time excellent meals at Buckleys Restaurant at Warrington Collegiate College all done by trainee catering students. Both meals were excellent, a lovely choice of menus and choice of three courses, served extremely well. 'You can also go in the evening and there are specially meals one a month. Well worth a visit always welcoming as they need people to attend to get experience. You just telephone to book. Give it a try.

I visited Buckley's as part of a group for a Christmas meal. Although I appreciate that it's run by students, I feel that waiting over half an hour for a starter, especially when you've booked in advance, isn't acceptable. I also found it tacky that the soft drinks were served in cans

Buckleys Restaurant is part of the Warrington Collegiate complex immediately opposite the car park entrance off Long Lane. The food is served and cooked by student under strict supervision so you are always going to get great food at very low prices. There is a restricted bar in the room with no draft beer, but plenty of cans and spirits available. It is open during term times at lunch time Mon to Friday and only Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7pm closing at 9pm. It is so good the Warrington FGB book every table on the 3rd Wednesday of each month for their meetings. They have always been happy with the food, the service and the facilities.

I was invited for lunch at the collegiate restaurant, called Buckley's in July. The campus is off Winwick Road on the way into to Warrington and you can park outside the restaurant. It has its own entrance clearly signposted and restaurant has had a recent facelift so it looks quite nice and fresh. Students are very friendly and well supervised. I had a 3 course lunch (£8.50), fish starter, chicken in a tarragon and white wine sauce with a plate of vegetables and for pudding, strawberry meringue with balsamic dressing and chopped basil sprinkled on top. I've never had basil with strawberries, but it worked. The student chefs came out to meet the customers which I liked. I would go again - many people don't know its there which is a shame.

Birthday Meal for the wife who had a fillet steak I had a ribeye both of which were cooked to perfection, the chips were huge and very tasty. Size wise they were on par with the stones at stonehenge, nice to get proper sized chips. The wife also had a side salad which unlike most other places contained more than just lettuce. A bottle of Waddling Duck Sauvignon Blanc and Orchard Thieves cider for me which made for a great experience. We thought it couldn't get any better until the sweet came out, a cherry cheesecake but no ordinary cheesecake. The chef had made a large cherry out of the cheesecake mixture with a red glaze and a slither of chocolate for the stalk and placed on a biscuit base. Overall a very good experience, from initially walking in to walking out all the staff were very helpful, smiling and never in your face. We'll be back on Saturday.
