Buckley bakehouse in South Derbyshire

Just celebrated my 40th birthday with 20 friends, started on the terrace in the sunshine which was great for mingling and the team brought our bubbly out :) then super flexible as to when we started inside with the food, amazing choice of sandwhiches on the afternoon tea and catered for dietary requirements amazingly. Warm scones were delightful and the mini cakes meant we could all try them :) The best time ever, such good easy communication in terms of organisation, completely stress free party, also sent in a playlist which was no hassle.

An unexpected discovery whilst we were walking in the area. A truly quaint little place with a lovely atmosphere and the best toilet / baby changing that I've ever seen in a cafe! There are so many nice touches and some humourous signage. It's just a shame that we live in East Devon, otherwise we'd be visiting you regularly. Well done, a credit to the area.

What an incredible night at Leddy’s! Six of us wined, dined, and had the best time imaginable. The food? Absolute perfection. I kicked things off with the scallops, so good they deserve their own fan club. Then came the beef, which was so tender and flavorful it practically melted in my mouth. And that sticky toffee pudding? Let’s just say it was love at first bite! The staff were total stars—fun, friendly, and always one step ahead. Our wine glasses were magically never empty (how do they do that?), and their energy added to the already buzzing vibe. The atmosphere was spot on—relaxed, lively, and the perfect setting for a great night out. We all left with full bellies, big smiles, and plans to come back soon. Fabulously tasty food with 1st class service

Best takeaway breakfast cob in the area! Really friendly staff and great tasting food. Definitely a hidden gem especially at the price.
