El restaurante ahora se llama espadines y fue una experiencia tremenda. Definitivamente regresaremos. Mi marido tenía un negroni; y bebí picpoul. No hay una carta de vinos, solo una pequeña selección de vinos para beber por copa. El caballero detrás de la barra me dejó probar 3 vinos blancos diferentes para ayudarme a elegir. Servicio exactamente perfecto. ¡La comida estuvo excelente! ! ! Calamares para empezar - el cielo y mi marido tenía croquetas de bacalao salado. Para platos principales tuvimos la lubina (excepcional) con col y bacalao y patatas fritas. Gran servicio, buena comida, ambiente divertido. . . . tan contentos que fuimos atraídos por la puerta por el caballero del restaurante. ¡Gracias por una velada tan memorable! ! ! !

Acabo de visitar el local de Jack Sprat's Westbourne Grove para un almuerzo tardío: Dorada entera con salsa estilo tailandés, repollo hisbi asado y ensalada de algas. Simplemente divino. Nunca escribo críticas, pero el rollo de langosta fue lo MEJOR que comí en años. Tenía patatas fritas que también estaban deliciosas. ¡Gracias chicos! !

It’s in the heart of bourgeois Westbourne Grove so I assume the name of this seafood joint Is pronounced ‘bouquet.’ Or given the ethnic mix of the area ‘Babaganush?’ I visited shortly after its opening a year or two ago, but was in the area after an invigorating classical concert at St. Peter’s Notting Hill so popped in for a late lunch. I was tempted in by the announcement on a blackboard outside of a lunch special of a chowder with sourdough bread for £7.50. Compared with the prices of the tapas sized starters or whole grilled fish as mains it looked quite a steal. Such a steal, in fact, it was nowhere to be seen on the menu or blackboards inside wheee the specials were the likes of mussels and lobster. However I persisted in asking for it and was glad I did as it was a substantial bowl of creamy soup with mussels and cubes of salmon in abundance. Elsewhere in the restaurant a group of four chatted to a waiter in Italian. Just as well I was not in a hurry for my bill!

Le concept est original (tapas de poisson) et bien maîtrisé: c’est délicieux, et raffiné, à l’image de l’ambiance du lieu. Un mélange d’influence méditerranéenne (houmous d’artichaut à tomber) et de produits de la mer locaux qui finalement fonctionne très bien ! On peut dîner léger (tapas) ou plus copieusement avec un plat et accompagnement. Prix corrects pour Londres...je recommande

We visited on a weekday evening were able to book easily via opentable. The menu is ok not amazing i expected to see.more seafood options like crab, prawns, mussels, seafood platters none of which were on there. We ordered the oysters @£3 and the guest oyster @£6 each. I wasnt wowed by them. I have had better elsewhere. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and persuaded me to try their guest oyster which has a laser initial in shell etc etc. My friend ordered the fish (halibut with almond clams) but was full of bone. Side of bread and butter is provided. Sides you must order. Wines were expensive starting at £26 for an italian white. Dessert was good but basic selection. Things that are good: design and service. Nice touches lemon on table, herbs & twine in napkin. They have a bottomless brunch option at weeke ds and £1 oysters 4-7pm weekdays.

My girlfriend and I just had one of the most amazing valentines meals this evening. The staff are friendly and welcoming, their service was nothing short of perfect. The tapas style allows you to try various bits and pieces and each dish was exceptional, the salt fish croquettes were a favourite of ours. The deserts were perfect, nice and light to finish, sending us home more than happy!

Had lunch here with a friend 24th Jan 2020. Cosy, comfy, beautifully decorated. Charming staff. We wanted something delicious and not too big and it was perfect in every way. We had Thai prawns and fish cakes and salad and it exceeded our expectations. Sort or seafood tapas, my favourite way of eating. Note to self, must go back for supper with a bigger appetite!

Fabulous food, good service. We had the buckets of Frito misto, calamari & aubergine hummus. All the food was tasty & well prepared. Desserts were really delicious. Only slight quibble was that the food arrived quicker than our drinks. We’ll be back!

I have to say for a spontaneous gathering of friends and colleagues. This place gave us quite the surprise. Everyone had a hard day... then Giovanni stepped in, he simply created the framework for what was a wonderful evening . He explained the menu, gave us his recommendations for both food and wine.. and it was all outstanding .This place is unashamedly a seafood restaurant, so if you're unsure, try it.. I'd like to thank everyone for that evening. The shellfish bisque was outstanding as were the king prawns... if you like seafood tapas...this place is a great alternative. Giovanni, you made my, Rose and Sebastian's night, you were fun, engaging and incredibly patient !!! Great Work !!!

At the restaurant with my daughter for dinner (first dish ordered, terrible, and after complaining we changed the order). Both got infected with a bacteria after having had dinner at Bucket (medical certificate available). I wrote a review and was reimbursed after more than a month afterwards, according to the owner/manager out of good will not obligation and then my review was errased. I do not appreciate the erasure without being consulted. This is the reason why TripAdvisor exists, isn't it? To advise other readers about facts, be them positive or not! Disappointed about the intoxication, the restaurant's manager/owner attitude and the errasure of my review by whoever it was...

We have eaten here twice in 4 months. I prefer not to leave reviews until you have been twice to make it a fair judgment. Both meals we had were excellent, really imaginative food and impeccably cooked. The bread is especially delicious, we will certainly be back!!

Ate here with a friend this evening. I hae many allergies and the staff were very careful re this. However, the food was over salted, bit extreme. All nice and clean though and they tried to be helpful.

We had a great dinner at Bucket. The atmosphere and design are fantastic - very modern chich, great for both a date or a friends night out. The service is very good and all the staff very friendly. The food is of generous portions, very well cooked and delicious. Definitely will go back.
