Bit quiet on a wet Wednesday afternoon when I visited, But the service was great and the Pizza was top class!

Nos ofrecieron un trato similar, pero nos decepcionó esto ya que nuestros amigos nunca lo habían estado y estaban ansiosos por tener la pizza sin fondo. Llegó nuestra comida y bebida, que de nuevo no era genial, ya que mi pizza estaba quemada debajo. Esto no me molestó particularmente ya que tenía bastante hambre en este punto, pero aún así, no era lo ideal. Más tarde, por la noche, un miembro de nuestro grupo tuvo una mala caída fuera de los baños, ya que el piso estaba cubierto de harina de donde se preparaban las pizzas en la cocina abierta. Tuvimos un tiempo fabuloso. Josh y todo el personal era amable y servicial. El paquete de bebidas y pizza sin fondo fue perfecto para nuestro grupo de 11. Las pizzas eran preciosas y las hicieron venir. Base de masa muy ligera. El vino de cerveza prosecco era de buena calidad. Servicio atento. No nos podemos quejar y lo pasamos muy bien y ya lo hemos recomendado a nuestros amigos también.

Tuve una experiencia fantástica aquí! Las bebidas seguían llegando y la comida era fenomenal! ¡Perfeccionado por las habilidades de alojamiento de Jess! ¡Me encantó!

Vine con un gran grupo de amigos para celebrar mi cumpleaños y fue fabuloso. Todos tuvimos la oferta de pizza y bebidas sin fondo durante una hora y media. Josh y el personal no podrían haber sido más serviciales. Fueron realmente rápidos en rellenar nuestras bebidas y traer una variedad de pizzas, comencemos más tarde sin problemas, atendiendo todas las solicitudes dietéticas. Si te gusta la pizza y te apetece pasar una tarde divertida bebiendo con tus amigos, no vayas a ningún otro lugar en Leeds. Definitivamente volveremos.

The pizza was good. Lots of choice even for veggie. However, I was nothing short of appualed by the sheer amount waste. There were 9 of us and they brought the first round of pizzas that we just about managed between us. Then around half an hour later out came another lot. It's safe to say by this point no one was hungry (there had been a fair amount of prosecco consumed). We ate some because it seemed a real waste to leave it. However, there were still at least 4 whole pizzas left. We all felt terrible about the waste. A better approach would have been to ask if we wanted any more and then maybe just brought one or two. As I said pizza was nice, but wouldn't go back for that reason.

Having previously booked and had an excellent experience I returned with the same group of friends for a very disappointing experience.Arrived to be told the main restaurant was no longer open so had to be seated upstairs, although they had no record of my booking. As it turned out they'd booked us in for the wrong week. They didn't have all of the pizzas as advertised, had run out of side orders and drinks, when ordered, never arrived. The pizzas were average but the flies ate as much of our dinner as we did.Sorry but we won't be back!

Popped in on a Wednesday evening. The man on the bar was very friendly and welcoming. Two delicious pizzas and for a good price. Definitely a new favourite!

This place used to be Bucca da Pizza and had ambience, good staff, and most importantly really nice pizzas. It was anall round good experience. But sadly no more. The Wellington Pizza Pub is now utterly dreadful and I will never ever set foot here again.We ordered a Pepperoni and a San Remo. A Pepperoni is hardly ground breaking, nor is a basic vegetarian pizza. Or so we thought. The first sad dried up offering was sent back. This was soon followed by an equally sad and tasteless offering, just with more splotches of tomato Purée. As I'd said the first one was very dry, clearly 'Chef' thought he was on a winner with tomato purree, squeezed straight from a tube. The word pathetic is too kind.Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

Didn't have our booking, showed the email of the booking and that is where things started to go downhill.Waitress was incredibly rude, the 'unlimited' pizza and prosecco was one pizza and two glasses of prosecco (both times we had to go to the bar to get these). When queried length of time it took for the pizzas we got shouted out about how long pizzas take to cook. I am no chef but last time I checked it wasn't an hour. Will never go again.

8 of us booked for the Unlimited drinks and pizza for 90 minutes deal and unfortunately i would not class it as Unlimited. There was only one member of staff on, and although it was not her fault, this meant our party waited up to 20 minutes for drinks alone.

I ordered a drink and asked if I could order a pizza. After checking I was told the kitchen was out of dough for pizza. Too bad I already had the drink in front of me. A lady came in a little while later and asked for tea and I overheard her being told it could be made in 15 minutes because the machine was just turned on. She didn't seem to mind at least and ordered a soft drink instead. It just seemed like they should be more prepared than they were. I wouldn't be bothered returning. The beer was nice at least.

Had a great tea here one night whilst in Leeds. Great selection of beers and gins etc, had a couple of pizzas between us and they were tasty! Definitely recommend the Hickory. Great relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to returning when back in Leeds next.

Señor. ¿Mi fi gon se confunde un poco? ¿Un anuncio publicitario que dice kah? No puedo calificar, no me gusta, hablar mal de la basura.

Visité The Wellington Pizza Pub por primera vez con mis compañeros de trabajo para la jubilación de nuestros amigos. Pedimos nuestra comida (éramos 14) y el servicio era excelente, el personal realmente amable y servicial. Tuve la pizza de pollo con aceitunas y pesto que estaba delicioso. . . No logré comerlo todo gracias a muchas de las deliciosas bebidas de Paloma Fizz (que eran 2 por hora durante la hora feliz ...;), pero me llevé a casa una bolsa para perros y la terminé la misma noche. Los precios eran razonables y le prometí a mi compañero que lo llevaré de visita muy pronto.

Visité por segunda vez este fin de semana y fue tan bueno como la primera vez. Hace un tiempo vine para una cena y bebidas antes de la cena para chicas, que fue fabuloso: las camareras realmente hicieron lo imposible para que nuestra noche fuera increíble. Esta vez visité a mi novio un domingo por la noche y fue muy tranquilo e íntimo. Lugar muy versátil! La oferta de pizza y prosecco sin fondo es de gran valor, solo desearía que pudiéramos encajar más. Se puede decir que las pizzas están recién hechas, están perfectamente crujientes y tienen un sabor increíble. El personal fue tan amigable esta vez como lo fueron antes. Realmente impresionado con este lugar y se lo recomendaría a cualquier fanático de la pizza!

Came her earlier this month with the girls and the unlimited pizzas were amazing! Great selection to choose from, and the constant refilling of our prosecco glasses was well needed 😂 would definitely visit again

Visited here with 4 other friends - their 2nd time,but my first. We ordered the Prosecco & 2 Pizza deal x3. The server was very polite & friendly. The Prosecco was nicely chilled & the pizzas were very nice. Just enough topping & equal amounts of each ingredient. The bases were the right side of thin that it didn’t feel too ‘doughy’. We shared pieces of each other’s, & all were very nice.

A quick lunchtime visit for four adults who were pressed for time was very rewarding and a pleasant surprise. There were three pizzas and a lasagne. I note (with dismay) that some other reviewers here have complained about the crispness of the pizza dough, which leads me to the conclusion that they cannot ever have set foot in Italy, especially the bloke who ordered his pizza with chips.

Tuvimos el tutto que era Prosecco sin fondo y pizza ilimitada. Absolutamente fantástica pizza y servicio atento de una maravillosa dama llamada Sophie. Nuestras copas apenas estaban vacías y nuestros platos solían estar llenos, todos conseguimos 2 pizzas y muchas copas de Prosecco y cerveza, pasamos un tiempo maravilloso y el servicio fue excelente. Volvería a la Wellington felizmente de nuevo. ¡Totalmente impresionante! ! ! ¡Gran amor a Sophie! ! !

After having read many positive reviews for this place here on TripAdvisor, my partner and I decided to give it a try - I really wish we hadn't.

Evening out with office colleagues and it was a good choice of venue. Helpful staff and decent selection of food and drinks to suit us all. Spectacular issue with wine spillage during service but situation well handled by the staff. I will go again

A large group of us has just been here and everyone that ordered pizza was very very disappointed. The pizza bases were bone hard and really difficult to cut. Ive never had a pizza before that "snapped" when i folded it in half. The topping on the pizza was a bit sparse too. Im not sure which was firmer...the pizza base or the plate it came on.

After reading the reviews online I was very aphrenrsive to go. With my friends still keen to go after it being recommended, I gave in. We went on Saturday and despite it being busy our drinks were being topped up without having to ask and they brought us out extra pizzas as we were celebrating! It is in a basement and it does have an old rustic Italian feel but I think it contributed to the buzzing atmosphere. We had lovely people dining next to us and we all have a great laugh. Deal was so great, can't complain.

I saw the name changed and stopped going in assuming it had been taken over.

Most definitely the best pizza in Leeds, probably in Yorkshire.

Terrible experience at recent first and last visit for food at this restaurant.

We enjoyed a nice meal here on a busy Saturday evening. The pizza was very good with a nice crispy base. We also shared a side salad which was nicely dressed and enough for the two of us. Service took a bit of time but the restaurant was full so that was understandable. All the staff were friendly and hard working.

Went there sat afternoon with the girls we had the pizza beer wine proseco deal which was great we were so well looked after and so generous with the drinks etc lovely staff so friendly

I found this restaurant on the MeerKat deal. We called ahead but since it was early on a Thursday they said there was no need to book. We were treated by friendly staff and seated in a lovely area. I noticed there are a few little nooks if you want a private meal and a big area which would be great for a large group or party.

The work Christmas do and this year it’s at The Wellington Pizza Pub. The restaurant is down in the basement underneath the main bar and has a feel like an old pub or vintage Italian. I love pizza so had high hopes for this years do, and it wasn’t bad. The pizza base were thin and crispy, maybe a little to crispy for my liking. We had a variety of different toppings; a very nice meat feast, a good hot and spicy one, a lovely funghi and a nice margherita. After those the flavours were a bit weird for me; Indian, barbecue sauce etc The service was ok too, difficult as the restaurant was busy, but felt like there needed to be another waiter/waitress as it was difficult to order drinks at times. There was also a massive amount of time where the pizza stopped coming as if the kitchen was too busy. All in all an ok experience at The Wellington Pizza Pub, I’ve had better pizza and better service but I’ve also had far worse.

This is such a great a little place! We always go for the unlimited pizza and Prosecco deal as it's so much fun and the pizza is fantastic. Our waitress Jess on this evening was great, really helpful and attentive and made our night that much more enjoyable!

Only went in the bar upstairs one cold dark friday night but what a brill atmosphere.It was packed but always got served quickly by very friendly lads behind the bar.I had never heard of the lager but i really enjoyed it and prices were very fair.Not far from the station and well worth seeking out.Only left because i had booked a table elsewhere else would have tried the pizza downstairs.

Came here with a friend for her birthday to enjoy the ‘unlimited’ pizza and Prosecco. We walked in and was spoken to by one guy who passed us on to another girl who took us to our table, didn’t offer us a menu or a drink. We sat for 10 minutes and not 1 person spoke to us or gave us a menu.. there was 2 guys serving who walked past our table 5/6 times but didn’t look our way once. In the end we walked out as we knew there was no chance we was going to get our moneys worth. When they are charging £52 for 2 people they should at least make sure people get serviced to have there money’s worth!!! I would avoid and go to dirty martini instead!

What a fantastic little gem of a place in Leeds. Enjoyed the 2 pizzas for 25 with Prosecco with friends inc a gluten free guest (who said the gluten free was best pizza ever had) all the food was amazing the drinks upstairs in the bar were fantastic and brilliant prices inc cocktails! One of the guests even booked her companies Xmas party there she was so impressed. We will definitely be back.

Got there for 6 o’clock and got told there was a delay on food soI ordered a pizza before I even sat down as I was hungry. Waited nearly 15 minutes before we got a drink, even then my friend had to ask to get topped up.

A good pizza. For me perfect dough and excellent toppings but ambience of a whitewashed coal store. I know it is meant to be casual in the extreme. I know that it is a pub with decent different food available concept. I accept I went on a weekday when it was relatively empty. However, even making these allowances the food was overshadowdowed by a dusty damp smell, a lack of even the most cheesy music, and a feeling you were dining in someone’s garage. Shame.

Visited here with a group of friends for the unlimited pizza and prosecco. The service we received was good. The pizza really was bottomless and we all came out extremely full. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

We came on a Friday evening for the bottomless menu choice. The service was great and the food was lovely, we will definitely be coming back.

I have visited on a few occasions now and I always enjoy the food.

I'm a huge pizza enthusiast, so I'm always excited to try a new place, and I'd heard good things about Buca di Pizza/Wellington Pizza Pub. It ticks all the stereoptype boxes for a modern hipster restaurant (pun names for the pizza, 'imaginative' toppings). Unfortunately, the pizza is very disappointing; a brittle and crunchy base and poor ratios, with too much sweet sauce overwhelming the base and the rest of the toppings. I think they are aiming for a Neapolitan style, but it misses the mark by some distance. We also ordered a Caprese salad, which was light on mozzarella and tomato and mainly bulked out with cheaper salad greens, which don't really belong in a Caprese salad.

With this resturant I loved how hidden away it was, it's round a corner and in a basement type setting. It's really pretty inside and is lit up by fairy lights. The food was average and the atmosphere was ok. I found it quite loud and the whole setting is quite 'studenty'. It's ok for a pizza and a drink but nothing fancy.

We chose the all you can eat pizza and drinks deal for £26 per head. Service was friendly and quick. Our drinks of lager and prossecco were kept topped up by the waitress.

We went as a group of friends a couple of weeks ago and wanted the try the £25.95 unlimited pizza and prosecco deal. One of our friends doesn’t drink so she wanted to just order a meal. When we got there we were told that this wasn’t possible, we all had to do the unlimited deal or none of us could do it. So we all just ordered pizza which was a shame but we weren’t prepared to make our friend pay for something she wasn’t going to use. I totally understand if this is the company’s policy, however it didn’t mention it anywhere on the website. We were told it was in the T&Cs; but we couldn’t find them on the website either. Had we have known before hand we would have booked to go somewhere else. We went on a Friday night and the place was empty so you would think they would be a little bit more accommodating. However the pizzas were good.

Had a great pizza and a couple of beers. They got my salad order wrong, but quickly corrected it. It’s under street level so don’t expect windows. Good value.

Currently being re-branded as the Wellington Pizza Pub, this basement restaurant has a great selection and great staff. Pizzas are typically £10 each but we chose the £25.95 per person option which gave us 90 minutes of unlimited pizza and house beer which was excellent. The pizzas were large, had lots of topping and were superbly prepared and cooked. We were there on a quiet Monday evening, but we reckon the place will really buzz later on in the week. For the record we managed to order 3 pizzas each and the staff gave us a doggy bag/box to take away with us. Definitely worth a visit if you like pizza.

Situated only minutes from the station in a lovely underground restaurant, it’s the perfect place for a fun meal with friends or a romantic meal with a loved one.

It was a very quiet Monday evening visit but this did not dampen the enthusiasm or helpfulness of the staff. The food was excellent and well prepared.

Overall my visit to Buca Di Pizza was very disappointing.

The drinks, service, food and prices were good. The decor felt a bit cold and dark and with the restaurant being underground with no natural light my personal taste would be lighter and brighter but no complaints about the food, drink and service.. all were fine

They do really good pizza although on a pricey side. Their evening unlimited pizza for 90mins+1 bottle of processo between 2 deal is quite good though for groups and big eaters- around £25.95.

Great value drinks & the guys at the bar served with efficiency & fun personality. Excellent value. Next time I’ll be eating the pizzas too.

Went as two couples on a Saturday night, it was super busy but are waitress was very prompt and efficient. We had the tutto deal unlimited for £26, are first pizza order got miss placed, the waitress was very apologetic and extended are pizza time....

The evening started well upstair in the lovely bar, but then it ended there! We were shown to our table at the very back of the restaurant which was cold and dark. We ordered our meal, starters then main course, we had a Leeds eat...

A group of us visited here for lunch, we hadn't booked and only found the place by chance, so glad we did, the pizza is authentic and delicious, they also have a few really nice beers to wash it down with! When paying we were given a voucher for 20% off in the bar above which was even better. Highly recommended.

Came here with a group of friends recently having visited both the Leeds and Chapel Allerton restaurants before and been very happy with both. We were not disappointed! Not only were the pizzas good (some different options to that at your average pizza restaurant) but the happy hour and drinks menu is very good too!

Just visited Buca whilst in Leeds . We had the 2 pizzas and bottle of prosecco deal . Pizzas were excellent and a very good priced deal of £25 before 7pm weekdays . A little hard to find if you don't know about it as its below ground . But a very nice place it is .

I've passed this restaurant several times on the way to the office so thought i'd take the plunge and see what they have to offer. We walked down some steep steps and were greeted by a tardis like catacombe venue that was warm, friendly and moderately busy.

My boyfriend and I came for a special occasion date night as we have been twice in the past and loved it! We went on a Saturday night and not long after being sat down I could tell the service was nowhere near as good as previous visits. Took us 15 minutes to get served, when the pizza arrives it’s only one as the other is too burnt to be served. Had to grab somebody’s attention every time we wanted to order or have our glass topped up. The third time it was topped up we were told it was the last time and they also took our menu off the table, making it clear we couldn’t order another pizza. I heard the staff multiple times expressing their annoyance at being in work and wanting to leave early etc. Overall, bad service basically doing their best to ignore us making the £26 all you can eat deal no longer “all you can eat” and overpriced.

We went for a friends birthday, there were about 10-12 of us. The staff are friendly and the pizza is tasty, but they took far too long.

Myself and two colleagues visited Buca Di Pizza on a Tuesday night. On the whole the experience was really good it was just let down a little with the slow service. There were only a few tables but it took a good ten minutes to take our order. When the food came it was lovely and very good value. I will come back but hope the service improves next time.

15 of us visited for a hen doo. The staff were friendly, we were half an hour late for our booking but they were okay about it. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the pizzas were lovely we had unlimited pizza for 2 hours plus 3 drinks. The pizzas were varied and tasty in fact I think they were some of the best I have had!

We stopped for a quick lunch on a Sunday. The pizza was delicious and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Went as a large work party on a Monday night and very disappointed I had a pizza called Wing Man and it at most had the meat of only one chicken wing on it. The blue cheese sauce drizzled over was the cheap inferior squeezy type you’d expect from a kebab shop. Wine selection was terrible and the house “plonk” was drinkable.

Me and my partner found this little gem by accident.We were simply looking for a quick bite to eat but our waiter quickly convinced us to go for the bottomless pizza deal. The pizzas were the best i have ever eaten by far and the service was excellent. Two men served us, one i believed to be Italian who was extreamly attentive and one with white blonde hair, a manager i believe. They really made our evening. excellent value for money. We will 100% be coming back again.

We found this by mistake to be fair, we couldn't find a Chinese I'd booked for dinner along that road for some reason, think it was hidden , and so cancelled that and just walked into here for something to drink initially, so whilst we were having a drink, we decided we may as well eat here, were not disappointed at all we chose the calzones, I had El Bastado, and partner had Hickory Pig, they ere delicious and just enough, glad we just had that now as Chinese would have been too much i'm sure..great feel to the place, staff were friendly and happy to see you great place to visit from out of town

I usually don't like restaurants located in a basement but this one is very nice and cozy and the service is always very very good.I ate here twice so far and I'll definitely be back. Their pizza is very good -not the best, but very good, and their desserts are good too Well recommended!

We visited Leeds for an event, we are from Devon, and stumbled across this quaint and lovely pizza place. The servers were absolutely lovely, they did forget an appetiser but brought it over promptly when my partner mentioned it. Can't fault the food, the pizzas were stunning and the price was good. Would definitely come again!

Simply, the service is shocking despite the restaurant being dead and full of empty tables. One member of our group had a drink poured over them by an extremely inexperienced waiter. The food takes an eternity to come out meaning a ridiculous wait between courses. Two of our group actually ate a completely different time to everyone else. The pizzas are ok but not worth the pain of the service. We were in the restaurant for over two hours(!) and had two courses. When asked if everything was ok when paying, the reasons we were unhappy were politely explained again to the guy who took the payment and another member of staff claimed that a discount had been applied to the bill (it hadn’t, I have the bill). The point being we were offered discount by the staff after them recognising how shockingly bad the experience was and they couldn’t even do that properly! Amateur set-up.

My girlfriend is celiac and found this place so we decided to try it out. The venue is quite quirky by virtue of it being underground and it certainly helps the place seem somewhat more private. That said, the noise level can get high. The food was good and all staff were very friendly and did an excellent job catering to my girlfriend's dietary requirements.

Had the Tutti deal. All you can eat pizza and unlimited prosecco for 90 minutes. Quality and variety of pizzas alone is worth it. Pizzas are light, crisp and really tasty with varieties you may not have had as well as some classics. Staff are friendly and attentive but not too in your face. Drinks topped and pizza orders taken in a timely manner. 90 minutes is definitely enough to make good value of this offer.

I didn't even know this places existed until recently. We popped in after work for a bite to eat and ended up doing the 'Tutto' deal. £25.95 each for as much pizza as you want in an hour and a half! My partner and I got a different pizza each to start(you can pick any off the menu!) and swapped half a pizza so got to try more. I got a glass of prosecco, and as we had almost finished our first pizzas, a lovely guy came over and topped up my empty glass! And the same happened with his beer! A few more pizzas and drinks later, we left feeling very full (and I felt a little tipsy after my 4 glasses of prosecco!!). We will definitely be returning!!!

Visited Buca di pizza in town on Saturday, me and three friends did the Tutto offer and it was great! As much pizza and prosseco for 90 minutes. We first had a few wines and spiritzes in the DOC bar upstairs and we're served by Tom and Josh who were lovely. There is loads of different pizza options and they do glute free bases which was ideal for one of my friends. Would definitely visit again and recommend.

Bobbed in on off chance of getting a table for 4 people. And was told it was really busy but then he said as long as we are no longer than an hour we could eat, so we thought great. But when we walked in to a deceptively spacious seller restaurant lots of table's were empty. Ordered food staff were friendly, but sad to say the food was awful. I like thin and crip base pizzas but there were cremated. And as for the topping they were non existent 3 little pieces of pepperoni and that was it apart from a little sauce. Honestly The Worst pizza I have ever had and that includes take always... disappointed
