A cosy early evening meal made our visit a pleasure.

We had a lovely girls brunch for a birthday - fab food, Antonia our server was fantastic! very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full! She helped make our friends birthday so very special - No complaints whatsoever :)

Antonia was an amazing host, we did bottomless brunch and she looked after us so amazingly! A credit to the team. The food and drinks were also delicious

Antonia looked after us so well! Especially having a bottomless brunch our drinks were constantly topped up by her so it felt like really good value for money. She was lovely. Probably one of the best servers for a bottomless brunch.

Fernando was brilliant as our server, food and drinks were all amazing!

Not great at all. I encountered animosity straight away when the server became argumentative with me when I asked on portion sizes for their meals. The food we did get was not worth the price: watery eggs, the smallest portion of baked beans I’ve ever seen, anaemic bacon and sausages- tasteless. This place had the audacity to automatically add a service charge to our bill- which we refused to pay. I can wholeheartedly say I will never give this dump a chance again- go there at your own terrible dining risk.

Sabina is an excellent waiter. She attended to us quickly and efficiently due to our close proximity to a large party with two unsettled infants. Our meal was delicious and Sabina’s service was exemplary. No doubt she is made for better things, a credit to Browns. Thank you Sabina and Good Luck in your chosen career!

Had a fantastic meal for father-in-law's 60th. Our waiter Fernando was exceptional and always appropriately made sure we were well taken care of. Excellent food! The chilli prawns and chorizo could be a main, they're so good and the crab and prawn linguine is to die for! A great first at Browns!

Antonia was super attentive and amiable. The ambiance at “Browns” was so calming and welcoming; so much so that dining alone didn’t feel awkward. Great breakfast…I highly recommend the steak and eggs!…YUMMY! I will make sure to dine here every time I visit Brighton A++++

Me and my family went to Browns In Brighton for a family lunch. I ordered the traditional breakfast with fried eggs. My sister ordered the shakshuka and we both got food poisoning from this. Really don't recommend this resturant.

Had a lovely brunch today at Browns. It never disappoints and we’ve been there quite a few times. I wish I’d got the name of the man serving us, tall, older bloke (well probably age), he was great and made us laugh. Also, the man who greeted us with the green hair - super lovely. Our receipt said ‘Maz’ so that’s what one of them was called I assume. My partner had the traditional breakfast, ‘oh I won’t finish all of that’, he said: polished off the lot. I had the avocado and feta on sourdough with an extra poached egg; yolk was cooked to perfection. We started with a Bloody Mary each, but I didn’t fancy finishing mine, but as I have mine spicy, our lovely waiter offered to top it up with tomato juice as my partner can’t handle things too spicy or hot. Most places wouldn’t even think to offer to do that. My partner also had a Long Island Ice Tea, he’s very fussy with these (most places can’t actually do them right or have a policy not to make them) and I only drank Bucks Fizz, but somehow Browns make them taste amazing. Cocktails at Browns never disappoint though.

Christmas day excellent food & service.

Had a fabulous Christmas Day lunch at Brown’s Brighton. The team were welcoming and spot on in terms of helping with every part of the meal and drinks. Great wines, canapés, starters, mains and dessert. They even boxed up mince pies and chocolates for us to take away. Christmas lunch itself was just right. Enough of everything and not too much. All tasted great. My daughter has autism so it was ideal to be in the quieter part of the extended restaurant two doors down. Was warm, cosy and very relaxed. Great to see Aleks again who looked after us magnificently as she did last year. Thanks, hope the team had a great day and see you next Xmas day. 🎄

Rushed, poor starters, lack of usual atmosphere, expensive and not value for money. Standards have really dropped and clearly this was evidenced by the lack of customers. I’ve never seen the place so empty on a Friday before Christmas. Such a shame it used to be such a pleasure dining there.

Amazing experience from first booking. Restaurant staff were amazing supporting us and accommodating us as our large group of 14 fell to only 7 due to flu bug. We were made so welcome as soon as we arrived. The waitress and staff couldn't do enough. Loved the fact the waitress was always on hand and checked when we would like the next course sent to the kitchen so the meal went at our pace. Food was excellent and amazing cocktails. Huge thank you from us all.

Had bottomless brunch at Browns today and was served by Annia. She was lovely and friendly and accommodating! Had a brilliant experience! I added on a dessert and it was delicious! Never had a bad experience. Was great! Thanks for a great visit and experience!

We come here regularly because the food is great, the service is impeccable and the value for money is fantastic - especially on the Bottomless Brunch. Thank you Annia and friends for another memorable day!

Great place and value for money and great service

Had a Christmas menu with family. Food was terrible. Parsnips solid couldn’t get a knife through them, also what was supposed to be stuffing.Gravy was sweeter than dessert. For dessert was lemon merengue not good. Whole meal awful!! Never again.

Our first time dining at Browns and looking forward to coming again. The Christmas decorations made it feel very festive. Alexandra was our main server and she and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had the traditional breakfast which was perfect and very reasonably priced for a restaurant that feels “ a bit special”.

I stopped for dinner for one on Thursday evening at about 7pm. The food was delicious,and the servicd was excellent from Alexandra. Unfortunately the restaurant was almost empty which was a shame, a little more life would have enhanced the atmosphere.

A very quiet Monday but our waitress Chrissie was a ray of sunshine.
