Browns Brasserie & Bar in Liverpool

Booked a table at browns for a family members 60th. We arranged with Browns and a cake company for the cake company to drop the cake and balloons at browns during the day. The cake company then contacted us to say browns did not have a booking for us and would not accept the balloons and cake (after agreeing prior).. then after speaking with Browns they agreed to accept them… arrived at the restaurant and said oh the balloons are not here which the waitress replied ‘yeah they’re out the back’ overall bad service it is not difficult to arrange to pop the balloons on the table prior to the large party arriving.. drinks service terribly slow. Waiting over 30 mins for a drink.. had to ask multiple times if somebody could take our order and had to follow up the drinks..

Good stuff; The staff were friendly and super helpful. Staff were knowledgable about the menu. Staff went out of their way to double check with a member of the party who had allergies. Staff were kind and brought my mum a birthday dessert without being asked. Food was delicious and everyone got what they ordered. Less good; Table was not available until 20 mins after our booking time. We were asked to wait at the bar but were there for 10 mins before being asked for our drinks order. We had pre ordered food but still waited a really long time. We were booked in at 6:30 with children and didn’t get food until 8pm. The restaurant was a little cold. (Staff did adjust the temperature when asked). The blade of beef was off the menu.

Perfect service from the staff. Especially Gary. Went with my partner for my birthday and I think she had a better time than myself!

Amazing brunch for a girly catch up. Great attentive service and amazing food and drink. Brilliant atmosphere. Catered for our friends dietary requirements/allergies.

Lisa really looked after us and was super friendly, beautiful food! We love going to Browns and the festive menu is amazing. I 100% recommend the beef 😋!

Very disappointing. Service was slow. The waitress spilled one of the drinks on us and got our food order wrong. Our meals didn’t arrive at the same time, the chicken schnitzel was bland and the broccoli side dish wasn’t as advertised on the menu. No one asked how the food was. We heard another table complain that their main arrived before their starter.

Such a lovely meal. Lee was super attentive and nothing was too much hassle. He really made our night and is such a credit to the company! Thank you Lee. We will 100% be back.

Stayed for 2 nights in Liverpool. Had our breakfast here every morning. Great service from Jason. Will be going there again

My first time eating at this restaurant and I was very pleased. A good choice on the menu. We started with the courgette fritters, very unusual but tasty. My grandaughter tried the garlic bread which was very tasty. Again the mains did not disappoint, we had the prawn and crab linguine with a pesto sauce - delicious, my daughter was delighted with Miso salmon and my 5 year old granddaughter loved the fish and chips especially the extra long chips. A good choice of drinks also.

A gorgeous meal just after lunch time so we were not rushed and somehow managed three courses! The drinks were delicious and the service was pleasant and polite. Nice clean toilets too

Lovely last minute choice of somewhere to eat on a very wet stormy night. Lisa served us and from when we sat down to when we left she was very helpful and a credit to the restaurant. Food was delicious, cocktails great (inc the free one we had via the app) and service superb.

We were very disappointed with the meal. After we ordered Rost meal staff came back and informed us that it is not avilable at approximately 1800 , they are sold out. Ordered steak. Potatoes were reheated in the microwave and dry inside, they also ran out of horseradish. Very poor service. Would not recommend at all.

Visited again today for a birthday treat, and what a treat it was, all down to the fantastic team who look after you brilliantly, made my birthday special a big thank you to Molly who looked after us very professionally well done to you Molly, Our favourite waiter Lee has now moved up to a supervisory position. but still had the time to stop and chat a little and of course to wish me happy birthday thank you Lee for making my birthday special, and of course a big thank you to all your staff.

When we visit Liverpool we always have at least one lunch at browns. I requested a booth type seating which we got, food was lovely, drinks were great and the whole restaurant had a relaxed vibe to it. I would like to particularly mention our waitress 'Tash'. Very pleasant and friendly, noticed that our drinks were nearly empty (several times) and offered a refill, most places you have to try and flag someone down for fresh drinks. Food served quickly and professionally and all Browns staff looked very smart. Look forward to returning soon. Thanks for a lovely lunch

Called into Brown’s of Liverpool for a birthday lunch, taken very good care of by the lovely Molly, one of Lee’s staff Lee now a supervisor and well deserved promotion, highly respected by his work colleagues, And yes once again looked after like a King and Queen as always, having had the most wonderful meal I was surprised with a birthday sweet a very nice touch and thanks to all concerned in making my birthday that little bit more special, well done everyone.

Dead disappointing, service was poor, food was only ok, and there was only a hint of crab in the crab linguine. Top it off for what we had it was quite pricey. By the way, that jug of tap water I asked for three times...I don't need it now,
