A very quiet pub (not on match days). Service very friendly.

A good pub close to St Marys with a good mix of home and away fans mixing together with no issues and a nice IPA which was most welcome after the length of the journey from Hull. I see on the reviews Tom Baker from Plymouth was moaning about the travel time, just a thought but maybe he'd have been better off using the Tardis!!

I went in for a pint. There was a DJ playing music, dancing and a great atmosphere.

Argyle on tour !! Another game....another City. And another excellent pub full of home and away fans. And....4hrs to get here by car on a Friday pm because Sky decided . No thought for the fans whatsoever. Hidden away in the back streets in an Industrial area it would not be a favourite but probably relies on the football fans. Freshly prepared rolls, excellent beer and really friendly and good service. And only 15 minutes from the ground....

Very welcoming pub relaxed and good price on drinks. Pool table and darts available as well football on TV.

Popped in for a pint on our way home on a Sunday evening, very welcoming and friendly staff and customers. Sadly couldn't stay for more due to having the car to drive. We will definitely be back, but next time we'll walk and stay longer.

A poca distancia de la calle. estadio marys Varias chicas detrás del bar sirviendo, a pesar de que estaba ocupado no tuvieron que esperar mucho antes de que me sirvieran. Me hicieron sentir bienvenido y llamé después del partido también. El aparcamiento también está disponible al lado del pub.

Good Friendly vibe, good value menu for snacks and meals

Quaint little pub on the outside of shamrock quay. Fun music nights and karaoke. Pool table, I believe darts. Clean, tidy, well decorated. Friendly. Only left off the fifth star as I am unaware of food is sold.

Stopped over for a training course in Shamrock Quay, and had some dinner here. Very close by, friendly staff and a nice burger meal that didn't break the bank. Thank you!

A good place for a pint before the game

Having looked at the other reviews on trip advisor, my wife and I felt that we ought to support the local since we’re permanent residents at a nearby marina. We arrived at 7.15pm and after ordering drinks, were told that there was no food and the chef had gone home. Since we were wanting dinner, we ended up at the overpriced establishment in Shamrock Quay. A disappointment since Browns have gone to the trouble of placing their business cards at the local marinas to attract more business.

Right near the away fans part of the ground. This is a more than friendly pub where you are treated with respect by the bar staff and likewise respect passed back by the away fans(man city) on this occasion. able to mix without trouble with home fans and this is the way it should be. Good selection of beers and they do decent bar snacks aswell. A good juke box lends to the atmosphere.

Love the happy hour here. Good place by the harbour.

This refurbished pub is close to Southampton Football Ground. It has a lively atmosphere especially on match day. With exceptional staff. The management supplied food for special occasions. And there is a food service available too. For my first time there I felt welcome and enjoyed the hospitality of Kerry and Harvey the owners.

A refurbished pub in the Northam / St Mary's area of Southampton which is mostly occupied by industrial units and an estate of housing association flats mostly occupied by immigrants. The pub has been tastefully refurbished and offers food lunchtimes and evenings Thurs to Sat. Two cask ales on my visit, One wasn't fresh, but was replaced instantly when pointed out. This place deserves to do well, and will no doubt be packed on match days. I like it.

Went here for a pool league night, very homely and welcoming. Clientele was fantastic and friendly, along with reasonable prices and a beautifully dry humored landlord!

Visited.Browns again last evening and as usual it was friendly and buzzing. Nothing is too much trouble - Harvey and Kerry are fab and eager to please. Good food is a bonus too. Thank goodness its now run properly and professionally - I will go back very soon ;-)

This pub has had many faces over the years but I think now it has had an excellent facelift and is a friendly, local pub with a great atmosphere. It holds many events so there is always something entertaining happening.

On a sailing course in Ocean Quay and used this pub for our evening meals - the first night we got into the pub at 9pm and even thought we were late a first class meal was produced. We returned on the 2nd night and yet another great meal. Fantastic pub, very welcoming - varied menu - great choice of beers. If you happen to be in Shamrock Quay overnight then this is a must visit.

My mates and I drop in before and after football. Everyone's properly welcome, home or away, there's food and the beer's reasonably priced. There's always something going on, entertainment, raffles, singles nights, we've had bar grub and cheap shots, and there's big tellies for the other games and footy news. Not your usual football pub (obviously not just open on matchday).

Do not be deceived by the locale, as an ex landlord i pre judged, wrong. This pub is spotlessly clean, very friendly, landlady stunningly attractive,( always a bonus), if you are down that way call in well worth the visit, very impressed indeed.
