Brown Cow in Bradford

Pls don’t waste your money or time, really bad curry, got my orders wrong, food was nasty, the place unclean, seriously just avoid I went with my wife and was extremely disappointed, I paid but wow you might as well get a frozen curry and it would probably taste better!!!?

Don't know what is going on but seems to be closed for good. They are still taking payments for orders online and not refunding so will be claiming money back via credit card company, phone is disconnected also. very bad business.

The first man we were greeted by (I assume he was the manager) was lovely! The restaurant was really quiet. The waiter just seemed like he did not want to be there. He was not personable in the slightest. He seemed like everything was an inconvenience, asking for the Christmas menu, ordering etc. I dread to think how they would deal with someone who was demanding. The food was okay, nothing to shout about. The service let them down though and that’s a big part of the meal experience! Bad atmosphere. Much nicer places to go!

The food is absolutely top notch. The service is dire. Plus they will only accept cash? Get a grip it's 2024. Smell a fiddle

Visited on a snowy, freezing cold day, The bar was empty ( it was only nearly lunchtime), but it was lovely and warm, and staff were very welcoming. The place is dog friendly, but the must be on a lead. At that time of day and being empty, there wasn't really much of an atmosphere. But with its location by the river and having food available in the bar and restaurant, I am sure that the place changes considerably. If you want comfortable seats, the bar is not the place to be. The chairs and tables are all of the high type. I didn't go into the restaurant, so I can't comment on that. What did come as a shock was the prices, £26 for 2 beers, a coffee, a wine, and a short! If that's winter prices, I don't dare to wonder what they are on a hot summer day, down there by the river? Needless to say, we only had the one and moved on to somewhere else.
