Brown Bear's Coffee House in Torfaen

It;s a pleasant enough place but every time I go there the price has gone up. I asked about this once and was told it was spiralling costs. I, Too, have spiralling costs and I think I might have reached my limit"

What a lovely veins. Visiting family in Cwmbran and ventured into town. To busy to sit inside but outside wasn't to cold. Lovely hot chocolate and jacket potatoes Brought some cakes to take away which were lush.

Have only ever come in here for drinks but there hot chocolates and frappes are absolutely amazing they taste so good always recommend this place

Love this place, welcoming and friendly staff, very clean, tables cleared and disinfected straight away. My banana milkshake was adorable and my ice/custard slice was absolutely gorgeous not too sweet one of the best I have ever eaten! Hubby really enjoyed his passion fruit smoothie and carrot cake with walnut on top. Amused by the tiny chair hooks in the toilet and baked potato for a door knob. Ideal for everyone. Was recommend to me and I will do the same and go back as often as I can.

Always loved this cafe but the increase in prices are horrendous - £10.00 for a baked potato - walked out and won't be going again 😔

Took the kids for a half term treat and they loved it! Great menu selection, generous portion sizes and the food was delicious. The staff were amazing- very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely little venue but very pricey. £4 for a regular coffee and £4.55 for a large is a bit pricey even in today's climate. So many nice cafes around cwmbran at more reasonable costs.

Great cafe! I had the vegan pancakes which I need soy free, the staff were great checking to make sure this was the case without a fuss and they were delicious. My husband has a full breakfast which he thoroughly enjoyed. We had a highchair for our little girl and it was lovely and clean. Food was served fast and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!! I asked for well cooked and they tried three times without success...on talking to the very rude manager adam , asking for a refund on just the uncooked food he asked us to get out in no uncertain terms..,..my partner ended up in tears...I am also posting this on our local sites and reporting it to trading standards....THIS PLACE HAS TO BE THE WORST!!!!!!

Waited a while for these wonderful hot chocolates due to the volume of customers. Arrived and were perfect along with 2 vouchers for a free drink on our next visit

Practically waddled out of here after my grizzly bear breakfast and Black Forest hot chocolate. Had to move us to a bigger table to fit our plates! Staff lovely as always and the place is immaculate.

Enjoyable breakfast at Brown Bears. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 8 and the staff moved tables around for us outside so that we could all sit together. Lovely breakfast menu with good choice. We enjoyed our American Pancakes and full English breakfasts. A member of our party is gluten free and her breakfast was altered accordingly with gluten free bread for her toast. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
