One of the finest meals we have had in London. We enduldged in the tasting menu. The service and cuisine was subperb and the Concode themed atmospehre was delightful, even down to the restrooms.

Went here with my husband for a birthday treat. It was superb from start to finish. Amazing food, fantastic staff, beautifully designed restaurant. Cannot fault it.

Who am I to suggest and improvement to Picasso or to Brooklands. Dinner was amazing in every regard from the balloon ride up to the 8th floor, the exceptional staff, and the amazing food. I’m at a loss’s to even describe the food to my friends. Even my photos hardly do it justice.

Brooklands is, simply, impeccable. London is densely packed with real, remarkable restaurants - this we all know. To open a new fine dine experience, in this day and age, takes real audacity, I would say, but Francesco and the team have nailed it. My experience was first rate; remarkable canapés of varying descriptions (fish custard - splendid), followed by several courses of infallible cookery. I do have some gripes with the place, though these, I concede, are largely idiosyncratic. Personally, I’d serve the canapés gradually, so as not to flood the table with them, though I believe this is wholly intentional and perhaps to be celebrated - who doesn’t like generosity! My second, and this is truly a sign that life is going too well if there is time to moan of this, is the coffee. Difference are eminent suppliers, but I was saddened to see no Jamaica Blue Mountain on Brooklands’ list. Regardless, I had an excellent lunch. Will this place win the coveted 3*? I see no real reason as to why not. My thanks to Francesco, of course, and to the whole team, with particular credit to Giole, the sommelier, who, despite my not drinking alcohol, was delightfully friendly, chatty, and pleasant, which is most atypical in these places - the sommeliers conventionally ignore me! Thanks again.

We decided to choose Brooklands to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it was amazing. It was a lovely culinary experience with so many extra surprises we weren't expecting. The food and service were wonderful, it was a warm evening so we were able to sit on the terrace and enjoy the views of London. The bar pre and post meal was great, really cool interior. We chose from the a la carte menu and were absolutely stuffed by the end with all the fantastic extra bits and pieces they bring for you. It was a joy to experience this restaurant and made for a very special celebration.

New hotel, new bar. Nice concept, very different decor. Wonderful views over London. The service was good, champagne was excellent. Clean. Just a little claustrophobic. The table and chairs by the front window are far to close to one another.

Stylish glassed-in bar with stunning views of London from the top floor (8th) of the elegant new Peninsula Hotel, which overlooks the back of Buckingham Palace's gardens. You're not that high up but your vistas stretch from Westminster Abbey to 22 Bishopsgate and beyond, including the Shard and Tower Bridge. Yes, they're far off on the horizon but they are great to look at as the cocktails kick in and the city lights come up. Service was friendly (except for one icy female host at the front desk who really wanted us to have the worst seat in what was an empty bar... the room filled up as the evening progressed). We eventually made it to a window seat after chatting with nicer staff and subsequently had a very memorable time. Food was typical bar menu stuff but well executed. The prices aren't low (actually, they're rather high... as is the location) but it was definitely worth it. Will definitely return when in town.

The bar has stunning views across London and is well designed. The service was very good as well. The only downside is the prices are very high even for this part of London. That said the bar was busy so maybe they have their pricing point correct. I would highly recommend but be prepared to pay for the experience.

Overpriced and nothing special. I love the Lobby at the Peninsula but this 8 th floor bar was a big disappointment. Cocktails are ok but ridiculously expensive and the nibble menu it is not only very average with a super limited choice, the prices are again absurd for what they are. No atmosphere, no vibe.

From the smirk-inducing Hot Air Balloon inspired elevators with associated sound effects (think Martin Creeds’ Work No. 409, piece for choir & elevator, 2005 in the JCB Elevator in the Southbank Centre, but less artistic) to the over designed brushed steel gents toilets that are clearly more style over function, this bar sadly misses the mark on nearly every level. One could argue it’s worth it for the views, but The Piano Bar (Now 10 Degrees) in the HIlton, Park Lane, gives you far wider ones across Hyde Park and the City as a whole. The Rooftop Bar at the ME Hotel, Aldwych the perfect river ones, being on the bend looking down towards Tower Bridge and up towards Parliament, The Rumpus Room at the Mondrian on Southbank gives a stunning eye-line view with St. Paul’s Cathedral and of course the greatest ones from the roof of The Eight at the Londoners Hotel (open air if you chose) over Big Ben (St. Stephen’s tower or now, called Queen Elizabeth II Tower), means it gets utterly trumped in those stakes too. Staff that knew nothing about the history of the bar’s name or the posters dotted around the establishment didn’t impress. For me their biggest faux pas was not knowing that Imperial Airlines were the world’s first airline and started at the world’s first international public airport here in London at Croydon Airport (it now stands as one of my favourite museums). For an establishment that was selling itself on London traditions, transport and history, this was surprising and disappointing in equal measure. The cocktails were, for the quality, hugely overpriced. These are not Side Hustle, Edition, or Mr. Lyan cocktails. These are a twist on loyal standards and reasonably prepared. Go see Lucia Montanelli at the Dorchester across the road, if you want a truly inspiring and exciting drink. An exorbitant 15% service charge on two cocktails, means the tip is more than a decent cocktail in Hache, Holborn. Everything has to be perfect when you do that and here it certainly wasn’t. New staff barely days in were thrown into the deep end. Fine, everyone has to learn, but your customers shouldn’t be expected to pay for them to do so. Bringing drinks to a table should be included in the near £30 charge for the drink - additional tips have to come from precision service, impeccable manners and staff spotting customer needs before they even conceive them. None of that happens here. Will it impress a date? Sure, it did mine. Will it be value for money? Absolutely not. And are there other offerings that will do the job way better for less cost? Emphatically! Get a Moonwalk from the American Bar in The Savoy Hotel, the father of all Cocktail bars, check out the Hotel’s museum on your way out and then head to the Light Room in Kings Cross to see Tom Hanks’ documentary Moonwalkers, at the appropriate moment, tell your date the cocktail they just drank was the first thing Neil Armstrong put to his lips after he returned from the Moon - that’s how you show off London to a prospective love interest. Shame, with so much build up to this new opening, much was expected of it, but sadly, from the surly bar staff being unhelpful at explaining the bill, to our olives and almonds being delivered clearly as an afterthought and staff members struggling with the required knowledge for such an offering; this venue would need to go a long way to change before a return visit.

We decided to pop in to the Peninsula Hotel after an afternoon shopping in Knightsbridge (and having visited our fav Mandarin Oriental). The Hotel is new but the decor very plush. We were super lucky to be seated at a table with an exceptional view including the London Eye, The Shard & Big Ben ❣️The staff were so lovely. I was even treated to a visit to the cigar room and the restaurant with the iconic Concorde sculpture. We will be booking a table here very soon. Can’t wait to return.

I am surprised to be the first one to review this place, but it is true that just opened! Well the drinks were good (The Chablis was great!) the service incredible and of course…the view!! Yes the view of London skyline in front of you is incredible (definitely a talking point: the London Eye that frame The Shard…how that is happening? Well the Thames twist and turn…). Marvellous indeed!!!

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

. . HORARIO DE APERTURA De lunes a viernes: 6. 30 a 7. 00 pm Sábado: 7. 30 a 7. 30 pm
