Brook Green Cafe & Restaurant in Hammersmith and Fulham

Great food. Great prices but be prepared for wait as been twice now and very busy. Seem to be very short staffed.

Wenn man mal traditionell englisch frühstücken möchte, ist dieses Cafe absolut empfehlenswert! Abseits der Touri-Cafes trifft man hier waschechte Londoner, die hier ebenfalls ein wirklich leckeres, umfangreiches Frühstück genießen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

I love this place as it's unpretentious and not trying to be anything but itself. No over the top healthy options or any fuss. Just simple breakfast and reasonable price. What more can you expect from a little piece of heaven like this.

Este es un café de base, donde puede haber de nackbar 'tipos de comida, que no sabe como nada, de verdad. Por otro lado: tienes un montón de comida por un precio razonable. Así que si lo que estás buscando, este es tu lugar.

Mi oficina estaba cerca de jardín verde y arroyo pasando por solía caer por esta toma café a recoger mi café por la mañana con sándwich de queso doble. El sabor era bueno y el precio comida eran de la media.

Lovely cafe where food is well presented and tastes good staff are always friendly would highly recommend!!

We were staying at the hotel which is lovely and had our evening meal in the restaurant. Unfortunately both of the starters were missing ingredients and therefore were a bit bland.It was recognised by the restaurant and we were compensated for our starters. The mains were ok for a rustic pub meal, which is all they were. Quick service & ok meal, service very quick and prompt.

Decided to stop in for the "all day" breakfast at 5:55pm...moments before the posted closing time, that I hadn't noticed. Owner was very apologetic about not being able to serve me. I came back the next morning and had a wonderful meal. The food was good and the prices were better. Very friendly and attentive service. Great to find a restaurant that focuses on producing great value breakfasts without trying to be clever.

I noticed that some of the bad reviews for Brook Green Café were actually for some of the other places close to it, which is unfortunate because it is being tainted by lazy angry people. So I thought i'd redress that. The food is cheap and cheerful, just what you want from a proper caff. The staff are all friendly, and you know they work all hours to prepare the day for the customers.They do try to cater for a more 'refined' taste but its the fry ups and roasts that get most peoples vote.

Walked in with my wife on Sunny Sunday morning, to see sour looks on all the staff. The girl who took our order was so rude I lost my temper and told her to be pleasant. No apology. Always such poor service. I am local and the food is good (expensive) so I keep trying but i am now giving up.

We tried the Cod and Chips, and the Shepherds Pie, and both were large servings at a reasonable price for London. Very good food.

Had a Sunday lunch from a set Christmas menu at the weekend. On paper it looked fantastic, but the reality was a complete let down. Shockingly small starter and pudding portions, and the mains arrived with at least 15/20 minutes wait between various meals to arrive to the table. The actual pub itself is very nice and the staff were ok, but the food is really very bad value for money and most of the group left feeling ripped off.

Ordered my breakfast, queried my order. Staff were so rude I didn't even bother to stay and eat my food. I've lived in the area for the past seven years and this is a local I will never step foot in again. I've tolerated the staffs rudeness in the past. Can't be bothered anymore I would rather walk an extra 10 minutes to hammersmith

Popped in to this little gem of a place as been past many times and as was working around the corner had to be done very friendly and not over expensive a good variety to pick from there's your normal set breakfast to main old school meals to choose from deff worth a visit 8/10 Yo man

Four years ago Brook Green was more of a Pub even though food was served there. Now with a stunning new make over Brook Green looks like somewhere you would want to eat. The wall decorations and seating are fabulous giving the dining area an up market atmosphere. The outside back area has been spruced up as well.This time we only had drinks here but it was a pleasure to come to Brook Green Cafe & Restaurant.

Brooks, as this cafe is better known by, is a popular spot for post-school drop coffee mornings, so is always quite buzzy. It is fairly child friendly, although there aren't really games or activities for little ones. The food is delicious and looks amazing, but wow, the prices!! We had a babyccino (frothed milk in a little espresso cup with chocolate sprinkles and marshmallows), a croissant and a coffee...for £7.50! For lunch a main course dish of half a roasted potato skin filled with, well potato and cheese and some seasonings and a salad costs around £8. i feel for the staff who have to tell people the prices, but in an area with several private schools most are happy to pay, so I guess why not. Apart from the cost and occasionally moody staff, it's a lovely little cafe with delicious if expensive food.

I stumbled across Brook Green Cafe whilst visiting London with my family, after spending quite a while searching for a fry up on a Sunday morning - something we thought we wouldn't have to do in London!It's a nice quaint place with a good menu. The option to "build your own breakfast" is dead useful, as my sister is quite fussy so breakfasts out usually become a bit of a "trade-off" for different parts of the plate.The food was good and the prices were better. What topped it off was that the guy that served us (assumedly the owner) couldn't do enough for us, which included regularly offering free toast, top ups and drinks - he gave it a real personal touch that you don't tend to expect in a greasy spoon.Lovely place, would visit again.

We come every weekend because the service and food are excellent! The owner knows us and is great at remembering what we want. He is flexible and always sends us an extra cuppa at no extra charge resulting in us giving him a good tip for his generosity. We used to go to the hotel round the corner for breakfast but after having gone in there for months the staff still didn't recognise us, and was grumpy and scowling! And the food was super expensive too! So am pleased with Brook Green Cafe! They are great!

Old fashioned cooking in bright setting.Spacious seating and pretty newly decorated.Basic cafe that does the simple stuff well and fair size portions that ae filling and tasty.

Having paid over the odds for our hotel breakfast the day before we looked for better value on the second morning of our stay in Hammersmith. We were not disappointed. Despite the inauspicious exterior it was a good find. Great choice of breakfasts and drinks, clean simple interior and great service. What more could you want? Four of us ate for little more than one of us the day before and the food was better! We will remember the Brook Green Cafe next time.

Restaurant et pubs très accueillants, carte complète et plats impeccables, du breakfast complet au traditionnel fish and ships.Le pub est magnifique et cosy, avec des bières sublimes et la possibilité de les déguster sur la terrasse et lejardin intérieur.

Came in starving hungry ready to demolish anything and everything in site. Was not left disappointed by how quickly the food came, or how much it cost, hit the spot perfectly but was left a little underwhelmed by their sausages! Over all though, a great greasy spoon :)

The first thing I noticed was the vast space within this place.High roof, lots of space between tables. A pub like no one other I´ve ever seen.Food was excellent, service as well. As a bonus, I took note of local customers being more relaxed than the usual suspects further up the road towards Shepherds Bush.Will definately come back.

Mycket trevlig fik, mycket att välja på och det var gott. Lite annorlunda inredning, alltid roligt och testa nya ställen. Mat fanns också, både att äta där och ta med sig. Sålde lite produkter också.

Was recommended to get breakfast here on an overnight in the area. Great recommendation. Full cooked with toast and coffee for under a fiver! Very 'cafe' and not 'restaurant' but so what ... Good, clean, speedy and friendly service. Proper nice.

Aquí puedes tomar un típico desyuno inglés y bien de precio para ser Londres, y si prefieres cualquier otra cosa. Dispone de buen servicio y no se ve un sitio turístico. Compartimos sala con trabajadores del lugar.

On a driving job to London and with five hours to kill I normally get a takeaway Chinese from one of the two in Shepherds Bush Road, but tonight they were both locked up, so time to find somewhere else.I came across Brook Park Café promising all sorts of good solid British fare. Even at 8pm a large plateful of liver and bacon grill with onions, lovely thick gravy and chips soon appeared, together with a proper mug of tea.A proper English cafe. A greasy spoon if you will, but there wasn't any grease.Clean premises and freshly cooked food, and terrific valueI will be back.

This was the kind of lovely surprise you were not prepared to and thus appreciate even more. Friendly and fresh people attending, wide choice of gorgeous cakes, nice atmosphere, wooden chairs and tables.... I would pop in every day if I had been living around.Practical notice: the address is slightly wrong, you would not find it at 162 but at 140!

Went here ostensibly for brunch recently with my daughter. We were a bit early as the brunch dishes didn't seem to start until 12. I think a lot of people would expect brunch to start from 11ish. Anyway, we opted for breakfast instead. Daughter had a very good fry up. I had Eggs Benedict. Ham was a bit ordinary but I much enjoyed it. Always helps to be hungry! The other food on display looked good. Excellent coffees. Light and airy atmosphere with a tendency to towards the Bohemian and the air conditioning was very welcome on what was a hot day. Service was friendly and efficient if a tad brusque. Definitely agree this is a better option than breakfast in nearby hotels. Good value for London. They are also geared up for families which makes a nice change.

Stayed local but came here for breakfast - FANTASTIC - massive, good quality cooked breakfast at a very good price. Very clean cafe, good service, light and airy. If you stay locally, make this your breakfast place, cheaper then hotels and it would be hard to beat quality.

Brook Green Cafe & Restaurant ligger i Shepherds Bush, ikke langt fra Hammersmith. Hvis du oser rundt i dette lidt upåagtede hjørne af London, er det et godt sted at tanke op. Ikke mindst morgenmaden er super.
