Usually good quality food, great service and lovely staff. My experience last night however, showed that the staff are more interested in preparing the dozens of Just Eat and all the other food delivery service orders, leaving personal customers standing for ages in the shop. The fish which was specially cooked, was awful and had obviously been frozen. It was flavourless and tough, the accompanying fish were battered, when plain had been expressly requested. The small mixed meat kebab requested, became a large, which was covered in hot chilli sauce which was not requested. The whole meal was also cold, due to being sat waiting whilst the collections were being dealt with. This customer won't be returning

Cold food. delivery driver insisted he couldnt find my address which resulted into walking out my house & down the road to collect my order from him on the carpark

The food is always delicious but unfortunately the delivery man was the most ignorant and rude person I have ever met. He phoned me and expected me to go out to his vehicle and fetch the food. I refused and he eventually came to my door. So rude I certainly will not be using Just Eat again.

normally food and delivery is really good from here however this time the batter was soggy and not pleasant. food only just warm. delivery on ordering was 15-30mins. nearly 1hour later food arrives. worse food and service I ever had from there.

We eat here most Saturdays and the food is always fresh and tasty. Great variety of food including vegan/vegetarian. The service you receive is fabulous, everyone is really friendly and chatty. Love our Saturday fish and chips, a must try, you won't be disappointed Just to add, if you choose a delivery option the delivery is undertaken by a 3rd party not the establishment itself

Ordered a Burger 🍔 and other food items tonight in last hour.... Have ordered before from here weekly and foods have been OK... With ok I meant hot and cooked... The battered chips are a go to....and never any complaints....(so far...) However, .... THE BURGER 🍔 WAS UNDERCOOKED AND IT SMELLED....the burger meat was 'off'... that is STALE.... 🤮 I was heaving as I was try to spit it out of my mouth as the outer part of the burger seemed cooked.... I'd already eaten the outside of the burger....NOW I AM SITTING HERE THINKING.. 🤔... WITHIN THE HOUR WILL I VOMIT OR HAVE TUMMY ACHE UNTIL I SH*T IT OUT.... Have always had takeaways from here food always great , hot & fresh . But tonight ordered as soon as opened 4.35/40.because daughter & grandchildren were here for tea . Food arrived 5.30 was cold and very unappealing warmest thing were the battered mushrooms. Wouldn't really put down to the shop but seems like ordered early delivered last 😣 Will also be contacting Uber

They serve the usual foods you find in any chippy. The food was well cooked and I had the choice of "normal" chips or the black country speciality, glow in the dark orange battered chips, which I opted for. No complaints there as they were nice. And I could find them with the light swited off! 😂 The fish was a reasonable size but there was a grey portion running through part of it but it tasted fine. The batter was a bit of a let down. Rather than crispy it was like a soggy wet blanket wrapped around the fish. It wasn't unpleasant but not to my liking. I ordered large mushy peas to go with the fish and chips and it came in an enormous container! So I got my money's worth there! Overall the food was better than a lot of local chippys. I have had better but I would go there again.

Come here most Saturdays, the fish is always fresh and beautifully cooked just the way we ask for it. Chips are fab never soggy. Fantastic friendly service and a whole new vegetarian/vegan range to choose from too now. Highly recommended.
