Singapore chow mien had barely any meat and was sloppy. Chicken fried rice was like boiled rice with boiled chicken, very bland. NEVA AGAIN!

Worst meal I’ve had from here tasted very cheap and nasty

Driver went to wrong address and waited down the street despite being the only hotel on the road! got order wrong too and despite asking for receipt on the order, driver refused to give me it. Curry was gloopy and not much meat, spring roll had no meat in it, prawn toast was stale, won ton were smashed.

Tasted nothing like black bean sauce, so salty couldn’t even eat it. Always used to order from here and the last time I was disappointed but thought I’ll order again as I could of been a one off. Obviously wrong, don’t know if changed owners or chefs but very disappointed. Came with a small bag for free prawn crackers and even they was stale. Very disappointed

I asked for chips as a side got two lots of rice

Not only were we missing items. My son found plastic wrapper cooked into his food. When I called about missing chips they have said its 45 mins till I can get any more. I'm disgusted. £40 on food and it's just terrible

Food very nice , but forgot the prawn crackers. Paid £2.20 for something that most takeaways give for free and they forgot them lol. Would deffo order again though

My last meal from here was not good but as there are quite a few bad reviews I thought they may of upped their game, so I thought I’d try again. Well, they haven’t upped their game. The food was luke warm. Spring roll was very pale and very very greasy. The chips, I’m sure they’re a week old, stale and soggy. I will not order from here again that’s for sure.

The fries (chips) were hard but the mushroom curry tasted nice on the whole, thank you

Wonderful hot and tasty food. Chow mein and sweet and sour are our family favourites. Always order from here for our chinese you cannot go wrong.

So disappointed. Ribs were hard and the BBQ sauce tasted burnt with no sweetness to it. The spring roll was burnt at one end, greasy and very salty.

The worst meal I’ve had from this take away. I waited an hour and a half. The food was terrible. They charged me £1.10 for a can of coke and I got a cheap can from aldi.

The yuk sung smelt fishes and didn’t taste like the usual one we have else where. Won’t order that again.

Food arrived earlier then expected. My food the chowmein and spring rolls was delicious but my partners beef curry and chicken balls was horrible. Chicken balls was dry and tough and the beef in beef curry was like rubber. Partner was left highly disappointed. First time ate here as was rated so highly and have been left underwhelmed

This used to be my favourite place to order from but I stopped for a while whilst they had a reduced menu due to covid. Ordered for the first time in years yesterday and I am so disappointed. The chicken wings used to be gorgeous and crispy but these ones were dry and floury. Like they hadn't been cooked properly. The prawn crackers tasted like plastic and were stale so I couldn't eat them. The chow mein and the prawn toasts tasted burnt. Majorly gone down hill.

The food is normal great but this time it was really bad the chicken fried rice smelt burnt the ribs extremely hard meat ,the chicken balls was very chewy and the chips looked a day old

Food was in a smaller container than usual and tasted like washing up liquid and than the rice was all hard just couldn’t eat it, normally good quality food

Food was ok, it probably would have been a lot nicer if it had been delivered fresh as we waited over an hour for delivery. We know the food ahd been sat under the heaters for at least 45min as we called the restaraunt to check on the order, so the chips were cold and had a rubbery texture when we got them, and the rest of the meal was barely warm.i woukd try the food from here again but maybe eat in or collect it next time!

They have changed the way food is cooked. Rice was greasy and chicken was plain chicken not cooked in spice as stated

I did not know it was under new management when I ordered but as soon as I got my order delivered the difference in the quality of the food was massive 😒the curry's I ordered along with rice was poor campared to what it was with old management so disappointed will not be ordering again need to find new Chinese takeaway

New owners have Taiwanese cooks so it’s not even English Chinese anymore sadly ordered garlic pepper wings and got fried chicken with garlic and pepper won’t be going back again. I will miss the old management and cooks

It’s a shame I have to leave this bad review as I have been ordering from Bromford House for many many years and never had a bad meal. Tonight however is a different story. Spare ribs in BBQ sauce…….the sauce was very watery and barely tasted of BBQ. Beef in the beef fried rice usually melts in your mouth…..tonight was like chewing old leather. Singapore chow mein dry as a bone. Chips tasted stale. I love the food from Bromford house, but I’ve got to be honest, it’s put me off ordering again.

I've been a loyal customer for 14 years, placed an order tonight for £35 the delivery was longer than usual (normal waiting time is 30-40 minutes max) when it came the driver Informed me that there was new owners which I was shocked about, the food was just not the same the chicken garlic and chilli fried wings were completely different and were extremely uncooked as they still had blood in the middle and was pink most of them were like this, the beef in the curry was undercooked too, the curry tasted powdery, was not a patch on the previous owners and will definitely not be ordering again unfortunately

Usually arrives quite hot but tonight's was a bit on the cool side - had to microwave to warm it up a bit.

Only found out last night that new owners had taken over bromford house but they assured me the food was still the same so placed an order for just under £40 , unfortunately it arrived 10 minutes late & the spare ribs were in no comparison under the prior owners regarding taste , texture , amount. So sorry but I will not be ordering from this establishment in the future after being a long & loyal customer.

nice food, great value, quick delivery

Ordered the usual egg fried rice, chips and curry sauce. Did not like the fries. Expected chunky chips with this dish.

Another delicious meal from New Bromford House. I don't think I will ever get tired of those wonderful chicken wings. Generous portions of our main meals, we just about finished them between us. I have more local Chinese restaurants, but I'd rather wait a bit longer for delivery and order from here because I know the quality is worth the wait.

First time orderer and we were not disappointed, the ribs were divine the meat practically fell off the bones! The meat in all of the meals was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and delicious.

Me and my wife had mushroom curry with fried rice. The rice was way too salty and ruined the whole meal. Can't recommend.

Haven’t used this takeaway for 5 years due to quality,wish I hadn’t gone back there still using precooked frozen meat which is slimy when recooked and curry sauce was thin and tasteless Avoid if you don’t want to waste money

Absolutely spot on. We got soup followed by Chicken and Green Pepper with Black Bean Sauce with Rice. Piping hot when it arrived via Just Eat and right up there with tastiest we’ve ever had…. 10/10 from us

chips was the only decent thing in the meal, plain chow mein was greasy, bbq sauce & bbq sauce for spare ribs was far too sweet the whole lot went in the bin, i will not order from here again waste of money

Chow main and rice were nice but Cantonese sweet and sour was soggy and chewy with a watery sauce and chips were soggy.

From the watered down curry sauce to the dry chow main and dry tasteless chicken everything thing I tried even thou we had waited so long was disgusting and only fit for the bin even the soup was watered down and tasteless this is the worse place I’ve ever odder from what a waste of money if only they could take back this Uneatable food odder and refund me instead as this should be unacceptable to serve.

Our go-to Chinese takeaway, always early, always great food, and excellent service. So much so, a lovely delivery man came back to us because he thought he forgot a part of our order! Can tell that this place cares about the quality of its food and it’s customers!

The food is really incredible...I enjoy it every time! But it was 1hr early!! And arrived while I was bathing the baby! Restaurant said it was an error...we kept it warm until we were ready to eat it. Still the best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in a long time :)
