We were so disappointed that this once fantastic ice cream shop has now changed to ‘Mr Whippy’!! No flavour selection unless you chose the tubs mentioned in the previous review. My niece chose an Oreo milkshake which was OK at best and extremely overpriced at £6! Will not be back!

We visited this place after reading reviews and looking at their website. Not what we expected. We only asked for two tubs of ice cream but they were not the home made ice cream we expected- just two tubs from the freezer [ spoon under the lid), frankly I could have bought it from the co-op. The price suggested special but the product was run-of-the-mill.

This little ice cream shop serves a variety of iced products, including our grad-daughters favourite iced lolly. They do superb soft ice cream too, as well as a good variety of course flavours (at least a dozen). We've never had small portions here - either on cones are in the tubs. As our pictures shows, there's plenty here. Sitting on the picturesque Craail harbour is the ideal place to enjoy it.

Visited this place after doing some of the fife coastal path route. It was a roasting day so wanted to get some ice cream to cool down. We decided to get two tubs of whipped ice cream with a flake and a can of juice each which amounted to £10.60. Personally feel this was a bit steep in price for a small portion of whipped ice cream and a can of juice each. Also the ice cream was mediocre in taste, so did not reflect the price!

Delicious ice creams and friendly staff. You can eat from the harbour, with views to the Isle of May.

Good coffee but the ice cream portions were disappointing. Half-filled small cup and hollow cone. Great location and nice staff though

We visited last week and sampled a couple of excellent ice creams. I have read a couple of the reviews and wondered if they had been to the same place. Prices were very reasonable and service was very friendly. If you go to Crail, get and ice cream or whatever and sit in the harbour. Old fashioned quality - you can't beat it.

A very hot afternoon and a large ice cream was definitely just what we needed. Soft ice cream with a chocolate flake and a seat at the harbour to cool down. A lovely spot.

Could not believe they charged £4 for a take away toastie consisting of 2 slices of plastic white bread with some cheap orange cheese. That was all it was - no accompanying salad or anything that could account for this price tag.

Crail is a lovely little working harbour and ice cream is just what you want when the sun is shining. This little shop is scrupulously clean and a Border Terrier is part of the management team. It offers (the shop, not the dog) take out coffees and ice creams. All that is available though, is machine Mr Whippy type ice cream. Nice enough but a lost opportunity to provide local fare with different flavours.

Lovely ice cream, even lovelier owners! Sandra and dad came to my rescue when I foolishly walked to Crail without cash, I would've been stranded otherwise. Truly nice and magnificent Scots! Lovely handmade, wee decorative items, all from the nearby beaches on sale too. Did I mention the lovely ice cream? Highly recommended if you're visiting Crail.

Brodie's is a lovely little place to grab a coffee/drink/icecream. It's right by the harbour so a nice setting. If you're lucky you might get to meet Brodie who is a little Border Terrier :-)

This is not actually a restaurant, more of a carry-out coffee and ice cream place. Ice cream was decent, but only had vanilla on offer. Nice, friendly staff and some good little souvenirs for sale too.

Hotel really needs updating. Room we were in very shabby and cold. Tiled coming off wall in bathroom at bath area. Couldn't watch the tv cause it kept flickering and losing reception. Must smelling room. Nightclub blasting away till 2am. No parking available on site but they're is a place across the road that the hotel gets a discpunted rate for. Sorry to say only good thing is the location of this hotel. Far too pricy for what is been given, will be avoiding next time

Went for a meal to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. On arrival we were shown to our seats. We gave our drinks order and we waited about 20mins before they were brought to the table we then sat and waited for a further 1.5hrs.. when my partner went to enquire what was happening with our food he was told that they had just started making our dinner. We decided to pay for the drinks and leave. The drinks were expensive enough with a tin of irn bru was £3.65! Won’t be back unfortunately

Visited with my family last night and had a beautiful meal. As always the food was gorgeous and service was fabulous. Suzy that served us was very nice and helpful and such a gem with my children too. Nothing was a problem to her or the other staff. It was busy when we were in, good to see & we all had a lovely evening. We will be back soon! As always a great night out and fab food! Thank you!
