Broasters chicken in Liverpool

Spent £30 here just the other day, as we were loyal customers for years … and all the food was inedible. Chicken was reconstituted and something you’d find in a ‘Tesco’s own' 5kg value bag or something. Like chewing a piece of rubber. Had to bin. Pizza LOOKED fine, but had a horrible taste to it. Binned. Chips were mostly fine, but had the smallest amount of red salt I’d ever seen. And the two lick milkshakes were watery with very little ice cream. Nothing like they used to be. Basically the restaurant has cut back on everything, and doesn’t mind sending absolute crap out to customers. Restaurant keeps changing their name too, and now we know why. Don’t believe the positive reviews. They’re fake. Never again.

Can Broaster stop putting spices on fries when not asked to do so. Stop using hard chicken for chicken fillet burger. Stop selling customer old fries and stale salads on yo burgers. Disappointed customer after spending 20 pounds on rubbish food. Will never buy again

Please do not get food from this place, it is absolutely disgusting. I ordered a chicken fillet burger and I am not joking when I say I might as well have tried to eat a shoe, it was tough, chewy and I dread to think how long it was sitting there before they served it. Do not order from here, you would be better of rummaging through some nearby bins to have food that was more fresh and tastier. The immigrants who run this place are used to eating 3rd rate crap and that's what they think you deserve, avoid at all costs.

After sending a screen shot of my order proving what I ordered they refused to do anything about sending me the wrong food out .. the manager put the phone down on me .. and blamed just eat .. my kids were left without food as they sent out spicy wings when we ordered sweet .. disgusting especially ordering from them a number of times .. rude manager !!! Also the order arrived over half an hour late .. just hope your order is right because these will not do anything to help you if they get it wrong

You guys know you’re selling absolute crap to people. Portabelo burger with no muchroom? WTF? Stale bun. Feel like throwing the burger through the window - it’s that hard it would crack the glass. AVOID!

If I was writing this review in 2015, I’d give it a 4 or 5. I went there two weeks ago, and was appalled. I used to enjoy going to Broasters, it was my occasional treat, great burgers, nice shakes, lovely chicken. I can’t believe how quickly it has unravelled. My first visit in about two years, it felt as if a bomb had hit the place. The person serving was disinterested, the people at the stations, cooking, slouched about; everyone used to be so smart and alert, a real buzz about the place. The place looked tatty, as if no one cared. I don’t know why in stayed, I just wanted to get out... and the food? Tasteless, over fried, and... upon looking at the place... I shudder to think about hygiene. Clearly different owners. They’ve ruined what used to be a half decent place.

The chicken i received was cold and undercooked in fact thieving thing that was good was not cooked it was ice cream i would not order from here again.

As I took a bite of my burger I bit into what I thought was a chicken bone but after I pulled it out of my mouth I found it to be a jagged piece of metal or more accuracy, a sharp, ridged piece of wire. I immediately phoned the restaurant who were apologetic. They offered to redo the order or provide me with a refund. I took he refund as I have now been completely been put off my food. I have just checked my bank statement to see if the money was actually refunded and I have discovered that it was not. The restaurant said they were sending somebody round to collect the metal. I thought this was good, assuming they would investigate the incident as a matter of priority. Nobody ever turned up to get the metal and I still have it. I was not going to leave a review but as I did not get my refund and they did not seem to care enough to investigate how this happened. So, when Justeat sent me an email asking how my meal was I just has to tell everybody about this terrible experience. I have warned all of my friends not to order from here and the whole experience has left be extremely upset and I now think twice about any take out I order. Disgusting.

Absolutely disgusting. The chips tasted stale and they were cold, the chicken burger was tough and flavourless, the wings were stone cold, tough and completely favourless, the chicken bits were 90% bone and 10% deep fried s**t, the mozzarella dippers looked like some c*ap they’d deep fried last week, they’d thrown the sauces in the bag so carelessly that our food was COVERED in garlic mayo and chilli dip from where they’d burst in the bag, my boyfriends burger tasted purely of chili seasoning, I genuinely feel sick after eating this and I only had one bite out of each item, save yourself your money, disappointment, dignity and no doubt next day diaorhea and swerve this joke of a takeaway, my 6 year old sister makes better food and she can’t cook for s**t

I don't think I'll use this place again. This is usually our favourite takeaway even though at times they have got the order wrong. I will say when this happens, they are usually helpful and put it right and until today we had no problem with the staff. We use this takeaway really often. Today we ordered £34 worth of food through Hungry House. Both my son and I are unwell and to save cooking, so we ordered quite a lot of food for two. The order was to be ready for 14.09. My son arrived at the restaurant and requested his food. From the offset the member of staff was abrupt and rude. He told my son the order wouldn't be ready for thirty minutes, as the man seem quite annoyed, my son was embarrassed and explained that Hungry House gave him the time of 14.09. The man waved a piece of paper at him correcting him about the time saying he needed to come back in a half hour. As I said, he manner was rude at all times. It appears Hungry House changed the delivery time. I appreciate mistakes happen, however I do not appreciate my son being treated like this. My son is polite and was so at all times. As I have said we use this place often and I'm sure the staff would recognise my son and know the well mannered, pleasant person he is. This was supposed to be an easy option for us today, but it it wasn't because not only did my son have to go twice for collection but he was subjected to this man's rudeness and temper, for absolutely no reason. My son was not arguing with him. This is not acceptable. I wanted to cancel the order and get refunded but as my son has always liked this place and the other staff, he didn't want this. There is absolutely no excuse for a customer, especially one who is so polite to be treated like this and unless they can assure me this will never happen again I will not use this place again. It was so uncalled for, that if they don't apologise and resolve this I will contact the Franchisse directly.

Ordered on just eat, pizza meal n chicken shake meal, last delivery which came at 11.15, they actually forgot the pizza, guess they where too busy trying to get home they forgot to pack it, lucky enough delivery driver phoned them as the shop was closed when I tried, but how can you forget a pizza, I'd of understood fries or onion rings being missed off. food was disgusting too, my son loves his pizza and he couldn't even eat it, it was hard, first time iv had a bad meal from here, obviously the new management need to sort this out and fast. But I won't be returning anytime in near future.

I've been ordering from Broaster's for a few years now and for the best part of it they've been fairly consistently good/great but since the tail end of last year things have taken a turn for the worse. I ordered from them at the very end of December 2016, food was delivered within an hour as usual, but a portion of Fries were forgotten. Called Broaster's and they said "We'll take care of it". 30 minutes later I called again and was informed that "We're really busy, we can either send them out now, or when you call up next time just let us know and we'll give you the fries for free". Ordered again from them this week, was told it would be "30 to 45 minutes". Called back after an hour and was told, "He's left and is on his way". 30 minutes later, (90 minutes after ordering) a delivery driver turned up who didn't seem able to communicate in any language. After trying to figure out what he was trying to say, he tried to give me someone else's order. When I pointed out to him that the address stapled to the order was different to our address, he responded with, "It's OK" and proceeded to open the order and give us the food. When I reiterated that the addresses were different and the order was not ours, he proceeded to say, "OK, I'll take this back and have you a new order made up". Told him to forget it as we'd already been waiting over 90 minutes and I didn't have any faith in him returning any time soon. Will not be ordering from Broaster's again, shame as they had been good and reliable for a long while, but something's obviously changed whether it would Management, or a Staffing problem but they seem unable to meet demand, (or don't care). Avoid...

I love this place. It is so cheap and affordable and the food is always delicious. I don't go anywhere else...always Broasters.

Reading the reviews I decided to give this place a go. It looks on the face, very nice, and friendly place. Service is shoddy from the start - as if troubling the worker to order, who do not seem to care and talk to you as if "your in da hood". More so seeing how the people at the back are behaving shouting and acting as in a Brooklyn gangster - wiping their noses or dirty clothing and touching the food - saw one lick his fingers are wiping the top of the milkshake container. I found a hair in my burger. Burger was not hot and chips were very small portion. The chicken strippers were not bad. Fried chicken was so greasy and more bone and hardly any meat. Considering it has 5* rated, it is shocking how amateur the staff are esp their manager. Their toilet was out of order yet their staff once went in for a few minutes and clearly after flushing heard did not stay to wash their hands!!! yikes. It is not a good place to go to order from unprofessional staff or to order in the first place with gangster style wannbe staff acting and talk to you inappropriately. Avoid this place at all costs. Maybe was nice last year as people say but clear they have gone downhill this year - worst place in Liverpool to order, dine and eat

Order food for delivery at the weekend to try after hearing great review from family qnd friends we decided order a few items from the menu. We were told food will arrive around 45 min which we expected but didnt expect the hour and half wait. When the food arrive it was cold fries , burgers where just warm only thing that was nice was the chucken wings after that long wait was left disappointed half the food was thrown away . Will not order again until they improve quality and service.

Pedí una hamburguesa de bestia, palitos de mozzarella, pañales el Jalapeno, patatas fritas y el Ambassador (Shake). La comida era increíble, la salsa caliente era muy apasionada (mega plus), el tocino de Turquía era increíblemente fresco, los pañales y palos perfecto. Comida de Thhe llegamos en menos de media hora. Muy Jacona Excelente atención al cliente.

batidos son increíbles. A mi esposa le encanta la Oreo y me encanta el Ferror Rocher.

Solicitar en línea por tercera vez, la comida es fantástica y los batidos de leche son los mejores bien vale la pena el dinero, sin duda volveremos

estado en broasters un par de veces siempre ha sido agradable acabo de nuestra orden y fue asqueroso hamburguesas estaban charboiled, como se ha dicho en el menú que estaban secos y desagradable no podía comer no será pedir allí de nuevo

Really nice spicy chicken wings, amazing seasoned chips and tasty flavoured milkshakes, i hear they have challenges but i have never tried them, will definitely be going back.

I have ordered a few times from here and I have to say they do the best veggie burger ever, usually veggies are forgotten about and given small portions but this is a monster of a burger :D I do think the service could be better as everytime I have called they have made a mistake on the order but the food really is great so I will keep ordering!

Been ordering here since they first opened. This place runs rings round other takeaways always hot and fresh and not expensive either considering the food is such good quality. Very friendly delivery drivers and always quick! Thumbs up from me

Good quality and very reasonable prices. Never have had a problem when ordering for home delivery, the guys and girls on phone are nice friendly n quick, even the delivery drivers are friendly.
