The best mixed meat special around. A family run chippy serving great fish and chips and delicious kebabs. So friendly and welcoming we go out of our way to go there rather than use places closer to where we live.

We visit this chippy whenever we are staying in the Kidderminster area because of the superb quality, the fish is large and very fish and cooked in a light batter which is beautifully crisp. Usually the chips are superb, nicely cooked and very fish but on our last visit a week ago they were slightly dry which was probably because we visited on a Wednesday lunch time when it was very quiet and so they did not come straight out of the pan as the fish had done. This will not put me off however because in the ten years that we have been visiting normally about 6.00pm this is the first time it has not been absolutely top quality. Usually there are queues which is always a good sign

Always really good food I would recommend the chicken kebab The large chips is a good portion. Tip don't throw the unwanted chips away feeeze them and when required 10 mins in the oven best chips ever

Este hotel de gestión familiar chippy sirve a la comunidad local y de su aparcamiento en la parte trasera es de fácil acceso, aunque está en una calle muy transitada. Tiene algo para todo el mundo. El pescado es delicioso y el favorito de mi marido es una porción de pollo, de tamaño generoso y cocinados a la orden. Recomendaría este "fish and chips", ya que creo que ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio manteniendo un alto nivel en una comida muy sabrosa.

Griego chipriota y de propiedad/si quieres un buen "fish and chips" elegimos un griego. Nunca he tenido ninguna queja y decepciones encanta (yo no soy, por cierto pariente de los dueños) pero me encanta su tarifa. Es sólo un comentario leve" si redujeron el enorme tamaño de sus porciones y refleja que la reducción en el precio, pueden muy bien aumentar su costumbre". Tenemos utilizada para sus raciones y sólo 2 peces y 1 porción de patatas fritas e incluso entonces hay siempre algunos a la izquierda. Así no sólo con buena relación calidad-precio, pero un placer ser recibidos con una sonrisa y un gracias. No puedo recomendar cualquier más.

A Medetarainian family run chips shop. Very popular in the area (I like the cod). The Lady always has a smile as she serves. I've been coming here for years & never had a bad one.

It was ok just a tad of lunch on the run but the roe is not that good would say the chips were fine though

We brought fish and chips it was freshly cooked and the portions were large. Good food and good value for money. Very friendly staff.

They are very nice people , they cooked our fish how we like it and we waited , it was worth the wait , then sat in the car and ate it yum yum the grandchildren thought it taste good too

I'm always up for supporting a local business especially when I know it's a small family run one. I always prefer these place to big chain options! And even better when they serve great fish and chips!! The specials list is big too!! So many choices to choose from and for a great value!! I highly recommend to try their kebab options! However if you fancy fish and chips then it's a large cod and chips all the way!! Thankyou!!

After many good visits in the past to Broadwaters chippy, we went back again last week after the EU referendum vote for some food. We ordered cod and chips, and roe and chips to take back home with us. The fish was very tasty in a good batter, and the battered roe was similarly good. The chips however, were really dry, and nowhere near as good as in the past. This is our local chip shop, and is normally excellent, but it we caught it on a bad night this time round.

Specials are great, plenty to eat, hot and staff very nice. Our Friday night treat and good value for money for families.

My local chippy which does a fabulous lunchtime special. Me & my hubby can eat all we want for £6! I normally order the Fish Bite - succulent, tasty and fresh. Staff are friendly and efficient - a difficult balance to strike when it gets busy! A proper family-run business.

This is my favourite chippy in Kidderminster. The best fish and chips and best chicken kebabs! They do some amazing deals & this is my regular place whenever we want chippy food! The staff are always helpful and friendly! Highly recommend !

I generally like to eat from places that are recommended by friends or family, but being new to this area I didn't know anyone so after seeing a good star rating on the door I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I had pie & chips and they were the best I've eaten from any takeaway establishment. The staff were really friendly and served us efficiently so we didn't have to wait too long and they were happy to cook my daughters fish fresh to order. Next time I'll have the fish too as she really enjoyed her meal. I definitely give it the thumbs up and happy to recommend Broadwaters Chippie if your in the area.

So as chippies go this is a run of the mill average chippy, depends how busy they are as to the quality of the food. I have visited and had either overcooked or greasy chips but I have also had decent chips. My advice if looking for a good chip shop in Kidderminster is to go with Merchants on Comberton Hill or better still the Merchants in Bewdley, always quality and never a bad meal. A good second choice in Kidderminster is the one on Canterbury Road Habberley who do a good range of value meals which are nearly always good quality. Captain Cod is not the chippy it used to be the fryers are getting younger and the quality deteriorating, it used to be my takeaway of choice but no longer.

I paid another visit to Broadwaters Chippy this week, and as with previous visits it was another excellent experience. It was a busy Friday teatime, but there was loads of food ready, and lots of friendly staff serving. The food was excellent. I had a large fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish was perfectly cooked in a lovely crispy batter, and the chips were superb.All in all another good visit to this excellent chip shop.

I had been using this chippie for years until autumn of 2014. My wife and I had been out for the day and missed lunch, so on our way back home early evening, we stopped to get some food from here. When we got home and put the food on plates, the fish (both) were dried out beyond belief; I can only conclude that they were left-over from the lunchtime session and reheated. I haven't been back since simply because they obviously think more about their profits than the quality of their food.

We had a bag of chips from Broadwaters Chippie last week, and they were excellent. 'Proper' chips, and a big portion for just £1.50. The service was very friendly too.Recommended, and would go back to try more of the food on offer there. There is a handy car park just around the back of the row of shops by the chippy.
