Small garden centre with a nice selection of good quality plants, garden items, gifts, cards, jams and biscuits. Nice for a stroll round followed by lunch in the Conservatory cafe. Small, homely cafe area with plenty of choices on the menu, reasonably priced and freshly cooked to order. Good selection of cakes and treats too. A pleasant afternoon trip out.

Very helpful with gardening questions needed advice on quite a few different plant types and needed guidance on the type of soil I have and which plants to grow in it. Staff excellent.

We visited today to buy a Christmas tree, and managed to buy a nice one for a reasonable price. The trees are kept outside so it was nice and fresh all the needles green and not shedding. We were served quickly by a pleasant and helpful staff member- it might be busier on a dry day though. There isn’t much in the way of Christmas decorations in the shop- if you need baubles etc you might be better off going to a larger store.

Very nice cafe with a wide choice of food. Sandwiches served attractively with a side salad. Patio area outside is pleasant on good days ( but would be better smoke free) and is also dog- friendly. Staff pleasant, helpful and welcoming. Popular venue.

In a large conservatory at the garden centre, run by a couple of friendly ladies. Good coffee and locally made cakes. Depending on the time of day, local people with children. Everybody seems to have been going there for years. I remember it thirty years ago, and it's as good now as it was then! It's a snack menu - Ploughman's lunch about a fiver. all the food is fresh and tasty.

The food here is excellent, and it's a little unknown to all but the locals of Worsley. As a garden centre, the products are first class, as is the service from Geoff, Ian and the crew. Experts in what they do, and really friendly and helpful.

My son and I enjoy going here for a latte and a milkshake after a walk around the woods. Expensive but nice and quiet and plenty of choice for a little cafe.

So glad to find this oasis, where they sell everyday food like cheese on toast. Lovely to sit outside when the sun is shining, surrounded by the plants of the Garden Centre. In the conservatory it is always warm. Service can seem a bit slow, but often there is only one lady doing everything. A great place to arrange to meet your friends when you are not in a hurry.

Very pleasant cafe next to Broad Oak Park Garden Centre, in a large conservatory but with a patio area outside which is great when the sun is shining. Very quiet. Food, drinks, cakes are very good, at a very good price. Only downside was that there was a lack of smiles and general politeness from the staff - maybe they were just having a bad day. I will go again, but will hopefully get a better reception next time!

Had a lovely visit for tea time, we went in for drinks and was treated by a pleasant lady called Kay, she was very up beat and happy very chatty and made our visit very pleasant. She was always on her feet cleaning and making sure customers were happy.

The service and food and drink all up to standard BUT since they revamped the interior they have ripped the soul out of the place it feels like your sat in an empty storage unit. I used to go every week before covid and went back when the revamp was done needless to say its very rare that l go now.

Me and a friend called in for breakfast this morning. 14/5/2025 First complaint was the time we waited for our food it was over 45 minutes wait considering the pub wasn’t that busy we didn’t understand the wait? Second complaint the breakfast wasn’t up to much no mushrooms on our breakfast witch is pretty standard standard on a full English? we were served up dried baked beans overdone eggs and two rounds of toast that I nearly broke my teeth on the bread was like rock!! The royal sovereign is a beautiful friendly pub but the standard of food is letting it down 😩 pull your socks up the royal sovereign.
