Had a lovely evening at the kids disco, Kay has been a great help, nothing we asked of her was too much trouble! Always polite and friendly.

Another cosy pub, lovely food and nice staff also great parking available, we had the carvery and enjoyed it thoroughly, I also recommend the ultimate coke for £4.15 its absolutely huge I didnt finish it it was that big

Only a 3 as it was match day really hard to park and it was empty inside. Food was good I had mixed grill everything cooked really well even the little steak was perfectly med-rare The sausages are fantastic Good selection of kids food and I purchased a giant éclair omg 😲 the only downside was the top was stuck to the top of the box 📦 Service was fab we arrived early and was able to bring our slot forward 30mins The lady tending to the table couldn't of been nicer

This is a large pub and there are different areas so that you can sit away from families with children if you are an adult only group. Visit here monthly with friends. Carvery is always good and I often have something else off the menu.

The food was great and Victoria provided outstanding service. Her friendly and helpful demeanor made our experience even more enjoyable. She is truly an asset to your team.

We usually go to coppice wood farm , this is so similar it feels as if we are at coppice wood good all round venue shame some veg was under cooked actually hard particularly the roast potatoes

Stopped in after having car problems and ordered the carvery for myself and my 8 year old daughter. The food was lovely, daughter especially liked the Yorkshire pudding! Laura was very helpful and friendly especially helping with address a d directions for RAC. Would come back if I'm ever in the area and would recommend to friends

I come here all the time the staff are great especially a server called Victoria she's always happy to help and serves with a smile, the food is allways satisfactory and the kids love it I come here most of the time because they are Very welcoming with the children and have a play area witch the kids love also they have a disco on a friday night and the entertainer is also great with the children they love it overall it's my preferred place to come with the kids.

Really enjoyed our meal this evening. Food was decent, service from Laura was excellent and they even had a kids' disco. Will definitely come back.

We came during the tea time rush and was greeted by the very lovely Kay who showed us to our seats and gave fantastic recommendations on what was good to eat. We opted for cheese garlic bread and halloumi fries for starters and gammon steak for main. Yvonne took our order at the bar and was extremely helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious our plates were promptly taken away and Kay offered us dessert which we declined as we were very full. All in all a really good evening. We will definitely be back soon.

Went for tea with my daughter and a couple of friends. The food was ok. Not great. We had the carvery, some of the veg was a little bland, and the yorkshire pudding was too hard.

Service was pretty crappy. Had to ask 2 people where our starter was just to hear “kitchen apologises” aka kitchen forgot about us. Then when getting our carvery had to ask someone where the chef was because we were stood at the counter like absolute lemons?? We got our meat I asked for just gammon and got 2 slices of it, my mum asked for gammon and beef and got 2 slices of each? Surely we should have both got 4 slices. The kids pizza was burnt as-well. Overall the food was great as usual, service and overall attitude from staff was just pretty slack. Will definitely stick to my usual Greene King pub from now on

We came here on our way home from The Trafford Centre. We tried another farmhouse inn nearer to the Trafford Centre and did not feel right there. However, the staff at Barley Farm put everything right. Laura was amazing. She made sure we were happy and enjoying our food, even bringing out fresh food, despite how late we arrived and how busy they had been all day. The food was beautiful and very tasty. James the carver, was friendly and very helpful especially as I have allergies. They even helped me with the utensils in order to be able to take my medication. The service was impeccable and we will definitely be returning.

Was hoping for a more varied menu. Used to do a Ploughman's which was great. It has gone quite expensive too 13.49 for fish, 3 pieces of not Brill scampi, a sausage, chips and garden peas with curry sauce. However, the carvery looked good value although given wrong size plate.

Myself and my family visited today and I cannot fault the service, the food was lovely and hot, my daughter enjoyed the disco with DJ Steve, which I think is great fun for the kids he’s brill. We also cannot fault the staff and customer service, everyone is extremely polite, especially Kay, her customer service is 5* she is very friendly and great to chat too, that’s what family pubs need! Great hospitality, thank you.

A great place with great food and friendly staff! We went with friends as a party of 7. One of the party has coeliac so has to have gluten free food. The staff catered well for them, making sure that their food was prepared & served separately from the rest of the order. This ensured there would be no cross contamination. Our daughter reported that their gluten free food was very tasty and there was plenty of choice! The food arrived fairly quickly. The portion sizes are generous and the food cooked well. The staff came over a couple of times to make see if we needed anything. They weren't intrusive however. The balance was spot on! On the way home, our daughter noticed that she'd left her jacket there. My wife rang them and they put it to one side with her name on. When my wife returned to pick it up the following day, the staff knew all about the jacket & went straight to it! They had obviously been briefed beforehand! I can highly recommend Barley Farm! We will definitely be back!

Met a friend who lives locally today 8/8/24. We had a beautiful carvery which was hot and the meats were exceptionally cooked so that they fell apart. Well done chefs. Also gentleman on the bar was very helpful as I cannot carry weights. It is a pleasure to come here.

My husband raved about the roasts at Barley Farm. We went for an impromptu Thursday late lunch. I chose the vegetarian option with a delicious varied choice of lovely roast vegetables. The portions are hearty. Kay from the restaurant staff was charming and attentive. She is an asset to the company. What a treat

Absolutely 5 star Service. I managed to order baked beans on toast after they'd stopped serving the breakfast menu. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic, staff very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend paying this place a visit.
