Excellent ambience. Excellent food. Excellent service.

The food was amazing, Laura was very friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable and was very welcoming. The customer service is also amazing I love this place. We will definitely be back again!

I visited today, and all the staff was helpful as usual. my table server her name was Kay and Laura who served us was Very helpful,,,,,as always😃

A colleague and myself was visiting here for lunch. The ease of using the app and the quickness of delivery was 2nd to none. The waitress attending our table was excellent in delivering customer service.

As always superb service and food

Cakeaway was amazing as always. The burgers need changing or somebody needs to learn how to make their own from scratch because they are disgusting the current ones. Thick and barely cooked. Other then that, rest of meals were spot on!!

Breakfast was hot, good & plentiful. Staff were very helpful .. speciall mention to Laura who was more than helpful to Mum who was in a wheelchair

Booked a part of it for a buffet after a funeral the staff looking after us were excellent the food very good kept on coming round filling the buffet and keeping the tea and coffee replenished would definitely recommend it thanks again ladys 👍

Fast service, cheap and cheerful! Can't complain at all.

The food is mediocre at best, and you can’t go back for any more vegetables like you can at any other carvery. I found this out when the rudest member of staff barked at my ten year old daughter this evening, ‘where you going love? You can’t have any more food!’ She was only going to get some gravy! Wouldn’t come back here and waste our money on a miserable atmosphere caused by staff with no people skills, crap food and dirty facilities! EDIT - As I cannot respond to your daft comments, I’ll update this here. If you’d have taken the time to read my review, you’d realise that nobody wanted extra food. A ten year old wanted extra gravy and was spoken to like rubbish by a fully grown woman in your establishment. It is not advertised anywhere that you must ask for more gravy, and I don’t appreciate the way she was spoken to at all. We’ve never taken her to a carvery where she cannot retrieve her own gravy (we certainly wouldn’t be coming back to yours!) and it’s not the message that was relayed to her, more the manner in which she was told. However, after reading your lack of basic grammar skills, it does not surprise me that you failed to understand what I had written. Joker!

Had a lovely tea time catch up with my friend and our Autistic boys, Laura was lovely and patient in answering the boys questions about dessert and accomadating there many demands for Sprinkles and chocolate sauce with there ice cream.

Found this place by accident but we return regularly now. Food is lovely and it has a very pleasant atmosphere. Service is outstanding, especially from Laura. Parking is never an issue, with a large car park. We’ll definitely continue visiting and we can highly recommend.

Barley Farm is my usual farm house inn and Lauren behind the bar, always greets with a big smile and provides great service as usual. All the staff are lovely there and happy to help. We had our usual carvery and all three roast meats (gammon, turkey and beef) with all the trimmings. My other favourite food from the menu is the fish and chip shop supper. Highly recommend.

Came to have a carvery on Monday, not as busy however, food was nice, customer service very efficient and atmosphere was very relaxing atmosphere....

Hi. A group of 7 visited here Sat 4/1/25 4pm. Main meal was great with 5 people going for the carvery can’t fault it and 2 guests went for hunters chicken again great food. But then came the pudding now normally I don’t have any being diabetic but I just felt like some ice cream so on viewing the options I plumbed for two balls mint choc chip and blueberry. Now if I was served what I saw in the fridge along side all those lovely cakes I wouldn’t have minded paying £3.99 ?? But what I got was more like scrapping’s from the bottom of a tub that’s been in the freezer for 6 months. I felt like I’d just escaped from Rolf Harris and run into Jimmy Savile… Now I know that If I’d had spoken with the Manager it would have been removed from the bill or something but a bit more clarity on what you’ll actually will be served wouldn’t go a miss, to me a bit of false advertising

For a chain restaurant/carvery, the food here was really nice once again. Also, the service & staff were great. We’ve been here a few times now for family catch up’s as well as to the Altrincham restaurant and both have been really good. Unlike some carvery’s, everything was topped up, fresh and kept hot even on a relatively quiet evening. Would recommend.

the food was cold but I warmed it and it was very nice perhaps if you wrapped it in foil aswell it would stay warmer

I visited Barley Farm with my 4 year old daughter for Breakfast with Santa. Although I have visited the restaurant a few times I have never attended one of these events. I must say that I was really happy with the whole experience. The staff were super friendly and cheerful. The breakfast had a good selection and the visit with Santa was great. My Daughter was amazed and kept telling people she had met the real Santa. Credit to the staff for working at such a stressful time of year in the hospitality industry with smiles on their faces and keeping things running smoothly. I think I will definitely return next year.

The rating says it all. A beautiful, relaxed, Interier. The food is first class every time I visit, which is once every 2 weeks on a Wednesday.
