Broadleaf in City of London, Westminster

Hosted a drinks leaving party for about 20 people earlier this week. Despite booking a space a few weeks earlier we were provided with the worst possible space. Bar was busy however fortunately the waitress was very attentive and efficient. Drinks were brought over on a regular basis to ensure that there were sufficient drinks always available to the guests. Had a £500 tab limit established so when that was exhausted I settled up my bill. Didn’t realise that the bar factored in a service charge onto the bill which is fine but what was disappointing was that they didn’t tell me that and they then gave me the option to tip over and above the bill which I did meaning that they received about 30% of the overall cost in service charges. Far too much for what is effectively a bar so I will definitely not be using this bar ever again. If you do decide to use this bar recommend you make sure you check the bill in detail before paying.

Visited the Broadleaf as part of a private event recently with the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the place being full, we never waiting more than a couple of mins to be served at the bar, the speed of service was never compromised by quality either, the staff were friendly and engaging. The food was really good too, very tasty and again despite being full to capacity I wasn’t kept waiting very long at all. The floor staff kept the venue clean and clear at all times, they were extremely polite when asking anyone to let them through, everybody working that night is a credit to the business. As someone with multiple sclerosis and who uses a walking stick from time to time, I find I need to spend time out side to cool off as I can easily overheat. This is not down to the venue just my illness unfortunately but the door staff would ask me how I was and if I was ok, every time I popped outside. They were very attentive and this was really appreciated, so thank you to the gents on the door that night they were fantastic. I would happily come back here, the next time I’m in London and would definitely recommend it as a venue for events too.

Ideal place for an informal business lunch. location between Bank and Liverpool Street is convenient too. It was a Tuesday lunchtime so relatively quiet and you could hear yourself speak which can be a rarity in the city at times. Had the burger and it was decent. Staff friendly and professional.

Great Looking Big Size Bar That Couldn’t Serve Bloody Mary ! This is a very plush looking bar very close to Liverpool street and offer very tasty food. Great ambience and spacious lot . When in London I try Bloody Mary - that’s my way of assessing how good the baseman can make drinks. Sadly this big place couldn’t make Bloody Mary as it has ran short on ingredients. None the less a good bar with good food

We’ve visited Broadleaf a fair few times but won’t be rushing back, it’s really gone downhill lately. Service at the bar was slow and the bar staff seemed like they really didn’t want to be there, no conversation, very miserable. When we moved to the table, the menu used to come nice leather wallet with lots of choice. Now it’s just a sheet of A4 with a much reduced selection. Burgers were very poor quality and served in a plastic basket. There are far better options in the city. Given the location, I don’t know why they have obviously made such a conscious decision to cheapen the experience.

I have visited broadleaf a few times but I have to say the standard of food has gone down the burgers we ordered was ok no tomatoes or lettuce apparantly that's how it's now served. Just really was burger and the bunnot worth the price. However service was fine

Went to Broadway leaf for the Arsenal game and had excellent reception for Remon and Emily. They both provided good service and very nice with good drinks.

Great place to watch sports! Smarter than your average sports bar and a great atmosphere. Came to watch champions league and would highly recommend. Thanks to Antonela for looking after us, we'll definitely be back!
