Lovely place! Went for family party, good range of drinks although I wouldn't say no to a few more dark ales😉. Nice decor and atmosphere and lovely bar staff to top it off, thanks ladies will return for sure.

Amazing decor, friendly staff and great ales. We visited this pub at part of the Blackheath ale tour. Wow. The interior decorations and styling are something else. Really, worth visiting for that alone! Bar staff were really friendly and delicious ales were on tap too! Highly recommend a visit!

This place is lovely nice relaxed chilled pub. You can order your food in from outside! And you can bring your dog and they do a free cheese selection on a Sunday. A family pub!

Very small and cold. Was there for a relatives funeral. There were no hot drinks even though a tea ern was requested. The food was basic and nice. Open fire lit too late and not kept alight.

Was freezing cold 🥶 ever the bar maid had her coat on there was no sign of lighting the fire people were drinking up and leaving

Fab pub, fab night , brilliant live band called Aces, atmosphere was buzzing. Food was fresh ,tasty ,pretty fast service. Lovely people,friendly staff,good beers good selection on tap. Some beers am not to everyone's taste but plenty choice. Fab night will go again definitely.

Fantastic drinks ranging from lagers through real ales and even a nice pour on a Guinness, but nothing compares to the fantastic working mon pizzas, they're unbeatable.

This is my family and I’d local pub and it’s absolutely perfect for us. We love it! We usually sit down in the beer garden it’s a little uncomfortable there though cause if there’s no chairs and proper bench tables left we may have to sit in the back tables and the benches are VERY uncomfortable but it doesn’t matter because we’re only at the pub for about an hour and 1/2. The glasses are clean and so is the cutlery but everything is quite expensive especially alcoholic drinks. Other than that it’s very enjoyable!!

Came across this pub about 5 years ago. Good choice of ales, but a bit pricey. My last visit i had Butty Bach, £4:45p. Bostin food. Very friendly customers and barstaff. Well worth a visit....⭐👍

First visit large pub with good amount of outdoor seating some undercover . Friendly staff 7 ales and several ciders with a pizza menu. Very covid safe and car park at the rear. Choice of 3 house ales brewed on site, tried 2 of 3, good quality.

AMAZING!! Pizza from this place is the best around by far, you can eat in or take away, or even get a delivery! they even have buy one get one free deals when eating in or taking away. Proper hand made fresh pizza, lovely toppings, made to order, it's definitely our new favourite 👌👍🍕 Keep up the good work guys. 👏👆☺️

Went in today ordered pizza and gourmet chunky chips .Food came out the pizza was burnt on top and cheap thin frozen fries when I challenged the staff she said it was a misprint on the menu and they do not serve gourmet chips but was charged £ 3 .25 .Never Again

Went in today after work for a couple of pints and a meal for my 14 year old child. With what is going on lately I was a bit nervous! let me tell you this place has ticked every box for me social distance across the whole pub,ordering by app which let me tell ya for a nearly fifty year old was so simple and drinks and food came straight away staff always concerned on what's going on and the gaffa always walking around to make sure the customers are looked after and SAFE if you want a safe environment with no worries this is the place u need to be going to oh and the beer as usual was spot on Thank u to the staff

Not been here for years,i was told about open mike nights on wednesdays and thought id give it a go.I went along with a friend and had a really good night and will be going back to the next one.Now ive rated 5/5 and that was totally on the welcome and friendliness of everyone there,from the phone call i made before going to the staff the landlord and the locals. its a cosy place and i thought the prices were pretty good too with a good choice of drinks available. I have not tried the food so i cant really comment apart from there looked a good choice plus specials and looked to be good value, i will be trying it soon

No food served now in the day, wide choice of beers, parking is very tight, dirty toilets on each visit.
